She also took care of other professional tasks for our family.
I found her a brilliant lawyer, always helpful, always kind and always there for us.
Her voice was always kind, cheerful, calm and helpful.
At the conclusion of this sale in Oxford which was very complicated and difficult we were pleasantly surprised that she also dealt with the financial side. I did not know she would take care of that too.

This is now the 4th time I have used Jo Dobson at Bower and Bailey in Banbury as my solicitor to sell a property, this was sadly as an executor of a will - yet again Jo has been an absolute rock throughout the transaction, managing our expectations and more importantly dealing with the buyers solicitors and the buyers expectations. Our estate agents have always been able to get hold of her and said she is great to work with too. Many thanks again Jo and team for a fantastic job well done.

I recently purchased two neighbouring flats, and Paul Brame was my solicitor.

What impressed me the most about Paul is his fairness and generosity. I came across Paul because he was on the panel of Fleet mortgage. I mass emailed all solicitors on the panel, and Paul was about the only person who offered a discount - in fact a quite handsome discount - for my second flat. This seems very fair, but other solicitors will charge me 2x despite the two flats are basically identical. At some stage, I was required to obtain independent legal council. Paul asked his colleague to speak to me, without charging me.

Paul's style is to accumulate answers to all enquiries and then send a long email, rather than sending many incremental emails. Thus, he may seem slow - especially at the beginning. However, he does often answer his phones, and if he is not available, he phones back the same day. He sometimes also responds before or after business hours.

Finally, Paul has good sense. During the last stage, the seller suddenly became quite. I was uneasy about it, and asked Paul whether I should still have my contractor coming out as originally planned. Paul noted that he is always optimistic, and that he would still have the contractor coming down as he suspects that the deal will complete within the next 2 days. Indeed, he is correct.

Overall, very satisfied.

We are a small local company who have used Bower & Bailey solicitors in Swindon for many years and have always had a great service from Eugene Murphy with various conveyancing matters. Recently we had a difficult litigation case we required help with and we were referred to James Hulme in their Oxford office.

James was an absolute delight to deal with and his skill, knowledge and professional manner really impressed us. Despite the fact that we were facing a huge multi-million-pound company, and the complex frustrating nature of the case, James was unfazed and steadfast in assuring we achieved the best outcome possible. I am sure the important legal aspects are fine. However, having spent several thousands of pounds I expect better then to be greated by a receptionist munching away on chewing gum, multi tasking looking at menus on her computer and being engrossed on trash daytime TV. Also speaking to me and someone on the phone at the same time. A very poor impression. The munching was horrendous!

Kay Angwin is my' go -to' lawyer for all property related matters. Kay is very efficient, diligent and would address each concern detailing the covenants that you need to be aware and in line with your instructions. Very attentive and accommodates the clients needs to deliver an exceptional service. Thank you, Kay!

Do not touch this petty firm work only for money not service. They are happy to take the money when it suits, In spite of representing both seller and buyers solicitor and promised to be transparent and quick, they have hidden the fact of the property not having regulator approvals until the last min. when I pull out they charged 65.6 % of the price for a 45 mins face to face conversation. never trust these guys when they ask you to sign, read all the documents and don't fall pray for the words like " charged a fair percentage " they are money traps.

We recently instructed B&B over the purchase of a plot of land in Swindon and something very unusual happened. We received excellent service. Both Barbara Lovejoy and Mary Cutts were efficient, communicative and helpful. We’re all so used to poor service that when we get great customer service it almost comes as a surprise. I can’t recommend them enough.

I would highly recommend using bower Bailey solicitors, I have had the pleasure and professionalism of tanis guiding me through my recent court ordeal regarding a family matter I was a complete mess and a bag of nerves dreading court and what comes with it, but at every step she gave great advice whilst keeping my best interests at heart she knew exactly what I wanted and won me 50/50 and got me everything I wanted.The confidence and knowledge she came with not only won me this but made me feel so confident in the court process I knew from the very first phone call I had made the right choice in contacting these. The costs were transparent all the way along and in my eyes very fair given the wealth of knowledge that was made available to me and the expertise that came with it. Again I would highly recommend these to anyone.

Bower Bailey in Banbury, dealt with a family members estate. Efficient, caring and always friendly and ready to answer queries quickly and professionally. I would recommend them without hesitation. They are absolutely awesome. Period.

We recently moved house and B&B dealt with our sale and purchase. We also used them on a previous move, six years ago.

Where do I start? EXCELLENT and attentive service from Natasha and Laura!

When planning for this move, I did consider using one of the online solicitors that have a central call-centre type setup. It would have saved us a couple of hundred pounds but I'm SO GLAD I didn't! Unfortunately, our first-time buyer did use an online solicitor up in Bradford I think and it was a total nightmare. Our buyer, B&B and our estate agent simply couldn't ever get to talk to anyone. It was clear they had too many clients or not enough staff and rarely replied to anyone. Natasha at B&B did say that at one point she had 14 unrelpied to emails. It certainly cost us a couple of extra months as they repeatedly brought up queries and then said they had been resolved to then bring them up again and waste time.

This certainly wasn't the experience we had with Natasha and B&B - Natasha or Laura were always available and responded sometimes within minutes and maximum within a day. We had many conversations and Natasha clearly explained the processes and where we stood with the issues caused by the online solicitor. It was great to have that support and guidance through an incredibly stressful experience, all caused by the buyers' solicitor.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Natasha and the team. Thanks for all your hard work!

From an Estate agents perspective, fantastic efforts/ communications from Eugene & Carolina, the transaction was wrapped up so efficiently & Mooveasy have a very happy chain. Well done & highly recommend.

Lizzy and Simon were amazing! Lizzy in particular kept us completely up to date with everything going on in our chain, was constantly chasing the solicitors at the bottom of our chain (who were quite frankly horrific!!!) and even on moving day when our buyers solicitors messed up, Lizzy managed to get it all resolved so we could still move on the correct day. As a person who likes to be completely in control, Lizzy made me feel at ease and I didn’t have to chase her at all. Cannot recommend them enough!

Seriously rude, honestly quite unhelpful and not collaborative.

How rude can they be. If you basically ever have to do anything ever that requires a lawyer. Do not touch this unprofessional rude and petty firm. They are happy to take the money when it suits but god forbid they have to work 5 extra minutes in a day. It is very clear that their time is more important than yours. I am sure that they are used to that being that way but some us work harder than solicitors and have more constraints and need them to understand that we are the paying customers and they are providing a service. We are not there for their convenience and they need to move around our schedules not their own. If you want lesson in how not to handle a compliant then try and complain to this firm and see how that works out for you. The only reason I did not bother reporting their appalling conduct to the SRA is simply that I don't have the time to waste dealing with them as they just are not worth it.

Sally Williams at Bower Bailey helped us through what turned out to be a very stressful and difficult house move. Sally and her colleague Rachel were both amazing, and really helped to make the process as smooth as it possibly could be. I always knew that they were on the ball, no chasing up ever required! Although always professional, Sally's friendly and down to earth manner was very welcome and comforting throughout. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We sold our house and B&B took 7 weeks from start to finish. Brilliant in every way. Full communications throughout. Clear and professional, they would chase me if I missed anything. I will use them again and fully recommend them.
