No diagnosis after £300 spent on 3 appointments!!! Disgusting

I am a new dog owner, I have a large breed dog. I took him in for a check up as he had a bad eye, the first vet knew he was reactive but Imogen managed to get some dye in his eye and said it looked like conjunctivitis. It did not clear up I went for a second appointment where the vet Monique was more interested in lecturing me about the collar he had on. She had access to his notes, she tried to assess his eye but could not then she took him round the back and he came out stressed and his collar was on far too tight. That night he tried to bite when we tried to give him medicine something he has never done but clearly there was an issue when they took him around the back. She prescribed sedation drugs but did not provide details such has they may not work, she gave no options for any other way to deal with this. After having given him these drugs which I was against I took him for a third visit where vet Jess also did not manage to assess his eye and surprise surprise the sedation drugs did not work. So after paying over £300 over the course of three visits none of these "experienced" vets were able to tell me what the issue was even though they were aware of my dog's nature. The vets did not take their time with my pet.

Broad Lane Vets were incapable and incompetent of handling and diagnosing my large breed dog, they lacked patience and empathy. I have now changed vets, what three of her "experienced" vets could not do in 3 visits the new vet did in the first appointment. Many people have been shocked that a vet has been unable to rule out anything serious and not give a proper diagnosis of the issue after 3 visits, this is the most shocking part to everyone including myself. Broad Lane Vets seem money motivated to me because if they were animal focussed I would have received a diagnosis to at least alleviate fears of this being a serious issue. I would avoid like the plague as there are reviews which say Broad Lane vets care more for money than animals, had I read those reviews before I would never have risked taking my pet here. This bad experience was at the Tile Hill branch.

There is no justification for not being able to rule out serious issues after 3 visits. Three visits later and none of your vets could assess his eye, one vet said he could have conjunctivitis that's it- that is all I got out of 3 visits. This situation speaks for itself, I am happy to share invoices and responses if anybody would like to see them.
