The ER staff

The ER staff is insanely disrespectful and rude to everyone. A man came in behind us saying his wife was in the car and needed help. The security guard pointed at a wheel chair in the corner and said there are wheel chairs right there. The man responded he needed help. The guard said ok, and then and started talking to somebody else and completely ignoring the man. We had already checked in and had to wait in line again to get to the back to see my mother. Another person came out and was allowed immediately back. I asked why we weren't able to go straight back and the security guar began raising his voice asking if I wanted to visit a patient or not because he can make sure I don't get a visit. This place is insane. I've never seen a hospital or any medical staff treat people like this.

I got bills and appointments sent to my email address from these people even though I’ve never seen them. I tried to talk to tech support and they said there was no account associated with my email address. So then I had to call customer service, wait for fifteen minutes, only to get hung up on and now I have to start all over again. Who the hell runs this company?

My husband had total shoulder replacement. The VA takes care of his bills. The surgery was so far successful. Now the therapy part Baylor Scott and White therapy Longview, Tx is the worst ever. I watched these 2 ladies, mind you one of them is the director of the facility. The entitled young girl would insult my husband in front of another woman ( patient) the entire time he, she was there. Comments like can you count? Pushing him around like he was a rag doll. I was livid! They both looked et each other every time they did something to Steve and just smiled. Really they were more interested in the music than the patients. I had to tell the director to take care of her patient multiple times. My husband wants to go back I think it’s a bad choice but he is the one they deal with. I will be letting the VA know how he is being treated. Steve is a smart man brings home $80.000 a year. So not stupid at all. Entitlement with these young kids will for sure get their face rearranged.

Baylor Scott & White Emergency Room

Over a year ago, BSW ER at 5252 West University Drive, McKinney, Texas 75071 sent me home with multiple broken bones in my arm from a fall instead of transferring me to a Tier 1, Trauma Hospital (which they are not!). A tier 1, Trauma hospital has a orthopedic surgeon on duty 7/24. I had surgery 2 weeks later, but suffered for 2 weeks. Here it is over a year later, and I needed ER again. I was hemorrhaging blood and was taken to this same location by ambulance. The ambulance driver gave me zophran and set me upright. When we got to the hospital, the ambulance nurse told the ER nurse he didn't see any blood, and she believed him instead of me. I also said I had had a bleeding ulcer before and this was the same symptoms, and I had thrown up a pan full of blood at home. Even though their blood test(s) showed that I was losing blood rapidly, the ER doctor did not order a tube to be put down my nose to extract the blood from my stomach (as done previously by a different hospital years earlier). Sure enough, it was a large bleeding ulcer and my stomach filled up with blood for 9 hours waiting for an endoscopy. Nine hours! This caused blood clots to form in my stomach complicating the issue for the gastrologist and causing me great pain later that night from the procedure. Not only could I have bled to death, but they also didn’t give me any blood so now I am anemic. During the night, the nurse let me suffer for several hours before getting severe pain medication approved by the doctor on duty. I had to call a family member to come to the hospital to help me get her to order pain medication. She kept treating me for "nausea". Too many other caring hospitals in the Dallas area to go to this one. Also, their "auditor" is useless - comes in a the day of release and wants to know "how things went" Right. I am not going to tell him anything because I don't want my "compliants" on my hospital record for the rest of my life.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They keep you coming back only addressing one issue at a time costing you thousands of dollars I’ve had two doctors not listen to me at all when I’m just asking questions I’m really tired of the neglect of patients by these doctors, if they would open their ears and shut their mouth for a minute they might understand what their patient needs. I got one question out for Dr. Suller. She got offended and then the conversation was over and she sent me off to my primary care never getting my questions answered about things that she supposed to be an expert, and never even addressed one thing.

ZERO STARS...

If I could give them zero stars, I would have. Baylor Scott & White is the biggest scam in the world of medicine. They charge you astronomical amounts and give you little to no actual results. I was once hospitalized for ten days. They charged me over $250,000 for the stay, and the only information that they were able to give me was that I had "higher than normal inflammation marker". That's it. They charged me the price of a house to tell me nothing concrete about why I was there.

More recently, I had been going to them for a prescription for over two years. The doctor I had been seeing left, and so they tried to move me to another provider. That provider let me know that they weren't accepting new patients, and they weren't going to see me. They tried to move me to a completely different department, where the doctor said that they wouldn't be assisting me because they work under different parameters. So they were gonna let me quit my prescription cold turkey. I'm no doctor, but it is insanely unhealthy to just STOP taking my prescription. Several health affects that could have caused serious issues. I say all of this to back up my next statement. Baylor Scott & White have ZERO regard for your health. They only want to charge you as much as possible while doing as little as possible. If I could NEVER go back to them, I would. Unfortunately they have a monopoly on health services (Emergency Room services specifically) in my area. So there aren't many other options. Unless I want to drive over an hour away. Which I will, depending what type of emergency I am dealing with. Baylor Scott & White sucks. If I could Thanos them out of existence, I would break my own hand snapping as hard I possible could.
