Cadogan Tate did a superb job moving all our precious things and they went above and beyond at each stage to make sure everything went smoothly. Emanuella was very helpful in advance and the moving team itself were 4 heroes! Thank you!

There is a saying that 'you get what you pay for'. In the case of my experience with Cadogan Tate I ended up receiving far more than I paid for in terms of: their exemplary personal service; the care of packing my items -- even pans; and their flexibility in meeting my requests. The service was not five star but ten and worth at least double of what I paid.

My move was complicated because I also had items from the clearance of my mother's house on top of my own.
Furthermore, I was staying in a small apartment in France and simply could not have all the items shipped to me immediately.
I, therefore, needed not only a company that could move my stuff in the U.K. out of my apartment, store it and then deliver it to France. Eco Movers, a division of Cadogan Tate, did all that without a single hitch. [I understand that Eco Movers has now been moved into Cadogan Tate and goes as Cadogan Tate.]
My brother lives in Canada and he needed to gain access to our mother's items in storage in case he wanted any. I also needed access to items that I accidently moved to storage but needed on a daily basis.
Not only did Cadogan Tate arrange for us to access the items in storage, but had a staff member repack items we had taken out to look at and then wanted to return.
Yes we paid what seemed a hefty sum, but again our experience was hassle and stress free. The boxes were waiting there for our arrival, a staff member opened the ones we wanted open, they then repacked items we did not need and reseal the boxes. Both my brother and wife were impressed by the packing of the items. My brother moved frequently because of his job and so he had experienced numerous moving companies, albeit in Canada.

Perhaps the greatest testament to their service was in comparison to my move in Paris. I used a local company to move my stuff into the apartment I purchased. I thought they were good, but sadly they were not and I found several items broken.
By comparison when my stuff came from London not one item was broken and those crates must have been moved several times -- from my London flat to storage, then when I/my brother looked into them in storage and finally from storage to my apartment in France.
This was because not only were the boxes really sturdy with corners stapled so they would not break under pressure, but every item was wrapped with several sheets of paper so it was padded and then any empty spaces in the box were stuffed with paper so nothing could move inside it. That to me is real attention to detail and care of a person's belongings and why I would unequivocally give them ten stars and recommend Cadogan Tate for your next move.

Derek and his team were well organised and professional. The job was done quickly and efficiently. Our contact for the move was Leticia who was excellent in making the arrangements including further supplies of boxes we requested at short notice.

I am happy to recommend Cadogan Tate as my experience dealing with their entire team has been very positive and professional. From arranging the survey, to helping to move items to different locations (new home, storage and abroad) and recently an additional local move, I have found Cadogan Tate to be very reliable and provide excellent service.

The office team were responsive and reassuring and the guys doing the actual move executed their job with care, speed and respect for our belongings and home. Moving is stressful, but having great movers helps a lot.

I was told that my single item could be added as a part load on trips that left London for Scotland weekly. I paid for the delivery on 7th September specifying that I needed delivery by the end of September. I heard nothing for over two weeks when I got an email from my delivery coordinator who sent me no date, just a leaflet about preparing for a house move! I complained about this and the time it was taking to deliver and got a date for 10th October, by which time I would no longer be in the country. I asked what happened to the weekly trips I was told my item could be on, there was no explanation or offer to expedite the delivery. Today is the date of delivery, I arranged for my son to be available in my absence. He was called first thing this morning by an unknown company to say it doesn't suit them and will now be Thursday or Friday. I paid Cadogan Tate for this delivery, it has been passed to Shore Porters who have passed it to some unknown delivery driver. My artwork is on a van apparently having gone to Scotland from London, now back to London and then back up to Scotland. They are an arrogant and chaotic company with no sense of customer value.

I can't recommend Cadogan Tate highly enough! They were incredibly helpful, professional, polite and friendly and extremely efficient. I had a complicated situation in terms of fixing a moving date and they couldn't have been more helpful and flexible, making the experience of moving a pleasant one rather than a nightmare. They stood out from all the other removal firms I spoke to who were very unhelpful and inflexible. Running up to the day of the move Emanuela was brilliant (as she has been recently in organising for my son to access my goods in storage at short notice) and on the removal days (moving out and moving in which spanned 4 days) Steve and his team were fantastic too and couldn't have been nicer as well as being extremely competent. The best moving firm I have ever used!

Cadogan Tate - the team that arrived to deliver our furniture were friendly, professional, polite and extremely respectful / careful with what they were handling.

Cadogan Tate coordinated and executed a multi-stage move for my mum and did it flawlessly - they were a pleasure to work with and excellent in every respect. Moving out of this second home involved long distance drives to London. It was such a relief to use a company who did it all for us - everything went according to plan and despite some tricky problems with getting things out of the flat on the 4th floor all went smoothly and to schedule. Thank you to Emanuela and the removals team for making the whole thing work and reducing the stress. Its always worth paying a little bit more - you get a lot more!

Moving is always stressful and we had the added impact of Covid hitting so had to juggle dates. Cadogan Tate worked miracles to get us moved on time and consolidated a 2 day move into 1 day with their expert crew ! Leticia was so calm and helpful everytime I called her with a crisis. What excellent service from Cadogan Tate. I approached a number of companies, and they were the only one to actually visit my property rather than using a video app, and so had a far clearer understanding of my requirements. The move arranged by Leticia Salgueiro was pain free, and the whole team were friendly, courteous, efficient and hard working. Nothing broken, and all my belongings were treated well.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere. I paid for my shipment to Singapore in February and was assured in writing I wouldn’t be charged storage after that point. However, they continued to charge me storage the following month, accepted that was a mistake and then lied about processing refunds that never materialised (all of which I have documentary evidence of) and now at the end of April they still haven’t even shipped my goods (and are now trying to claim it’s my fault even though I was assured they needed no further documentation from me). I still have not received the refunds despite being promised them in writing on numerous occasions and they have arbitrarily decided they won’t process them until after shipping (who knows when that will be) and no mention of interest on my money they’ve been keeping. They have been rude throughout and haven’t even apologised for any of the many errors. I have never ever done a review of any service provider before but these guys were so awful, I feel obliged to so other people don’t go through what I have. Do not use these people to ship anything. Use someone else.

Great team to work with at Cadogan Tate. Leticia our move manager was very friendly, helpful and efficient. Chris, Kieran and David did a great job unpacking. I would recommend working with Cadogan Tate anytime.

I never write these kinds of reviews, but the care, patience, good will and general excellence of Kerry McGahey has prompted me to write today. My mother passed away and the process of shipping her furniture to me in the US was difficult and a little disorganized. Kerry worked with me through it all - and always with so much kindness and understanding. I am so grateful for all her help. Thank you!

I’m so pleased I chose Cadogan Tate for their move and storage services. The removal crew were brilliant - very punctual and efficient, carefully wrapping and loading all my home into the storage containers. I think they must be masters at Tetris! Prior to my move, the estimator and move manager were great - very responsive and organised. I’d definitely recommend using Cadogan Tate.

Brilliant efficient crews but the back office attitude and arrogance is something else… will never use them again, just not worth the big premium they charge.
