Absolutely great experience! Dips, the chap I was in contact with showed patience with me beyond ‘the call of duty’ answering multiple pedantic enquiries by email almost immediately.
Despite my being a Mechanical and Marine Engineer my old timer‘s knowledge of vehicle electrics was hopelessly out of date but Dips was able to answer every question.
Completion of the installation has been put on hold due to another unrelated problem but having tested the equipment in situ it is everything I expected.“

Bought a pair speakers for my car from car audio direct. Unfortunately they were too deep to fit in the door so decided to return well within the two week cooling off period. Looked at their terms and conditions re returns and they don't have to refund you for four weeks. Received my refund after speaking to a member of management and it seems they are trying to improve the time taken to process refunds.

Bought a vehicle specific info adapter to enable me to fit a double din Pioneer unit and still retain all my vehicle settings on my 595 Abarth, I had a small issue on install with my parking sensors staying on, quick call to Car Audio Direct, they went through how I installed the unit, which seemed to be correct, I was advised they would email me with contact details for connect2 , together with some helpful info, true to there word, less than an hour later email arrived, turns out I had made an error with my parking connector, very well impressed with the level of customer care from Car Audio Direct, I would def buy from these guys again, the connect2 part I bought I couldn't get cheaper anywhere else.

I wanted to speak to a vehicle Audio reseller ahead of purchasing a Pioneer SPH-EVO68DAB single din head unit. I kept fin dinging myself being drawn back to the Car Audio Direct website as it was offering the best end user experience in my mind as far as information and reviews about the company etc were concerned. I called them and discussed my questions with ''Dips'' a very personable, knowledgeable gentleman with impartiality and between us he helped me make my decision to buy ....we continued talk about installation and I mentioned that I really also need to change my front speaker units and again he was able to offer me a choice of three options and finally he reminded me that this new Pioneer head unit also had rear camera capability and I opted to buy the Pioneer ND-BC8 unit which proved to be fantastic. There is no way I could have just picked these products and simply completed an online order myself. I was very grateful for Dip's time and professional views and advice and I am extremely happy with my new in-car audio set up ...Apple Car Play and voice recognition for navigation and phone calling and messaging are huge benefits for a handsfree world without driving distraction...superb kit ....Thankyou Dip's and Car Audio Direct I will be sure to recommend you at every opportunity .

Sterling overnight service from this company. Ordered a custom install harness and dash replacement for an SLK R170 along with a Kenwood double din DAB head unit. Items arrived next day in solid packaging and on time per DPD texts. Well worth the few quid for next day delivery. Install was really easy with the dash kit and the harness was relatively straight forward. When my antiquated old skool stereo fitting from 1988 brain could not fathom how to connect the canbus and the sub acc feeds, two calls to this company put me right in seconds, literally. The guy could not have been nicer in explaining the solution and within twenty minutes the final connections were completed, et viola! Dash, harness, canbus, flux capacitor and head unit all fitted and working perfectly. 11/10. Because I like Spinal Tap.

Ordered online using Amazon pay. Delivered quickly, items all work. Price was the cheapest I could find online. Great result.

Speakers sound phenomenal and they pulled out all the stops to make sure I got all the parts for the weekend when I was planning on installing them. I also ordered too much by accident and they have been more than accommodating with returning the extra bits.

I recently had a problem with my Pioneer Dab car stereo purchased from CAD.The front plastic trim was missing some of its locating lugs.
I explained the issue to CAD expecting the usual delays sending the trim back then waiting for Pioneer to send one out. Nothing of the kind CAD had a new one out to me within a couple of days no messing about Thats Great Service Thank You once again

Treated like a fool when I phoned to ask why the ariel supplied was different from the advertised one, seems they only want to deal with 'professional' installers. Then hung up on me when asked if they treated all customers this way.
The only foolish thing I did was purchase a system from them.
