The shampoo/conditioner smells great but it literally makes you bald. I bought the clarifying shampoo and hydrating shampoo and conditioner, after 3 washes, I noticed that my hair was falling and a few bald patches in the front.

I fell for the “emperor’s new clothes”! I should have cut my losses when the ordering process to buy the restoring hair and edge hair drops was so incredibly difficult. After 3 failed attempts I was finally off the waiting list and able to make my purchase. I placed order on 11 July 2025 and it arrived 23 July - surely too short a time from the USA to the U.K? Packaging beautiful but as the product touched my hair line scalp the liquid ran quickly down my face. I wiped it off with my hand and realised there was no product texture - just scented water! No point contacting customer services because they say it will take 30 days to show effects of hair growth - that’s a clever response, because by then my grace period/warranty and return periods would have ran out weeks before! Also not being able to see how much is left in the silver container means I could use up all the “water” and therefore have nothing to return. I have resigned myself to losing the money I paid and learnt a valuable lesson - I must not be seduced by celebrity brand name, video hypes and bombardment of emails from the seller telling me how great a product is!

Horrendous experience. I purchased almost $200 worth of product after getting a free sample in the VIP kit at cowboy carter. AFTER purchase I was informed the parcel would arrive a month later. I’m on holiday and won’t be here to recieve the package. I’ve been here 3 weeks already and ordered before arrival. No worries, I’ll just return to sender. NOPE. I have to fill out a return through a portal and I will be charged for shipping. I won’t be ordering again. Waste of time.

My hair has been flourishing since I started using Cécred products, it is noticeably healthier, shinier, thicker, and more hydrated/moisturized. I have been able to retain more length also! I’ve used the clarifying and hydrating shampoos, the deep conditioner, the reconstructing mask, the setting lotion and hair oil. I just started using the edge drops too and am already seeing results. I absolutely love this line, it’s given me the best hair of my life.

TL;DR: it works if you follow the instructions and understand your current hair needs.

I’ve been using this line consistently for the past few months and my hair (thick, bra strap length, kinky/coily) has never been better; it’s well hydrated and have seen less breakage (not to be confused with shedding).

Reading some of these reviews, A LOT of people have been using the products incorrectly and/or using a product (like the mask or protein) when their hair does not need it. If you are protein sensitive or do not know your porosity, maybe you should figure that out FIRST. Please take the quiz, consult a professional, READ and FOLLOW the instructions.

The serum (in the silver bottle) is a SERUM and NOT an oil.

If you haven’t clarified your hair in months, of course the product is going to weigh your hair down - you have a ton of product buildup.

With any new product, everyone should be doing a skin patch test. You had a breakout from the product and continued to use it? Why? Did you read the ingredient list to see if it had anything in it that would irritate you? No? Why? You saw all the oils and butters in the ingredient list knowing that you have fine hair and still decided to use it? Why?

You’re upset about the return policy because you bought (not brought) a full sized product that you don’t like when travel sizes were right there? Why?

The products work. You just have to be smarter than the box it comes in.

My hair stylist at Ulta beauty used cecred products on my hair. This is the worst product I have ever used. I expected better product from big name Beyonce. I have been charged for nothing my hair is very dry, brittle and no bounce very disappointed. Don't be fooled by name and fancy packaging.

The edge drops have done MAGIC for my hair.

Review of Cecred Hair Products

I recently tried Cecred hair products after a color touch-up at Ulta, and while I must admit, the scent is quite delightful, that’s where the positives end for me. I have fine hair that usually has great body and bounce, but after using the mask and treatment, my hair became limp and flat.

It feels stringy and heavy, almost greasy, making it difficult to style. No matter how much I shampooed, I couldn’t shake off that gross feeling. Blow drying and even curling have been a struggle, as my hair just won’t cooperate as it used to.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Cecred for anyone with fine hair. It might work for others, but for me, it has completely taken away the bounce and liveliness I once had. Disappointed with the results!

I placed an order on 3/16/25. The order has been sitting in a warehouse since then. I ask for a refund, and they process a new order. The customer service team does not understand how to deal with customers. I am
so disappointed. I had high hopes because of who owns the business.

I'm learning I should use trustpilot before purchasing anything, because after 1 week, my hair dried up and fell out especially around my edges. I will admit the packaging is cute but the complete silver encasing is not helpful if you need to know how much product is left. I bought the product because my edges were thinning despite not having worn a wig or braids in almost 6 to 7 months. My hair was startng to fill in before use but I wanted to try and speed up the process. Like 1 reviewer had mentioned, after the first use her felt dry and brittle and like her I paid no attention. I should have because by day 3 it started breaking. By day 7, my edges except for the baby hair were gone. For context I have a very low hairline about 3/4 of an inch away from my eyebrows so I was only using the product higher up about 4 inches away from my eyebrows as that was where I was experiencing the thinning hair. Well now, there is NO hair. I didn't purchase it to support Beyonce. I didn't even realize it was her product until I started doing research on why my hair was falling out. Some people say that's to be expected, but nope. It takes me a while to grow my hair. I literally can't afford to use a product that's now giving me bald spots.

Before using Cècred my hair was long and think. I used the product in June 2024 and noticed my hair felt very thin and dry after the first use. I figured it was because my hair was getting a really Good cleanse Until I used it agin two weeks later and noticed my hair was coming out in chunks and my curl pattern was no longer there my hair was limp. I said maybe I’m doing something wrong so I went to my stylist and had her use the products on me and she followed the directions. She noticed a huge amount of hair shed but thought the same thing and as a stylist she explained hair is suppose to shed for new hair. After she washed n set my hair I noticed it was thin no bounce and this was in July now almost August. I then notice massive hair lost and breakage like lumps of hair coming out from the roots. I stop using the product in August had to chop about 3 inches off my hair in October as I notice even after I stop using the product my hair was still falling out bad! It’s now January where I’ve been using my regular product I’ve been using for years and now I’ve notice less shedding, and my natural curl pattern is trying to come back. I say do your research first because this product ate my hair up badly! I do not recommend!!!

Customer service is awful. Another company that has decided it's a good idea to have their call center in India. The sad thing is it's not even a call center because you... CANNOT CALL. All interactions are e-mail based, which sucks even more.

I ordered several kits as a Christmas gift and the next day got an email saying it was shipped. That was a lie. Three days later, it's still sitting in their warehouse. I know that because "Susan" told me so and to just keep refreshing the tracking for updates. WTF? This was a Christmas gift. I don't want any of this after the 25th. I asked "Susan" to cancel my order and all of a sudden, she goes ghost. No reply. Nothing.

Why lie about shipping packages? Very distrustful company. I already filed a chargeback with my bank. Idk what Beyonce is doing, but this ain't it.

Very pleasantly surprised to love this line. I usually steer clear from celebrity touted products but i really needed something to replace a brand I used but had changed its formulation. I had nothing to lose so I bought the whole line in travel size to sample and I went back for the full sizes! I have 4a/4b coils. Usually it feels really dry unless it’s weighted in butters and oils. This line helped my porosity (I’m no longer high) and has made my hair unbelievably soft like nothing else. My hair is light and feels moisturized. I think it really helps to use the whole line or at least multiple steps to get the full benefit like other hair brands. I didn’t have problems placing my orders. The first time shipping seemed alittle slow, but my subsequent orders have usually arrived within a few days. I also really like that i can pay via the Shop app which makes checkout and delivery tracking really easy for me. Overall, I am very happy that i gave this line a try.

I’m surprised by the negative reviews about Cécred here, especially compared to the thousands of positive ones on TikTok or even from users posting on the official website with photo evidence.

I’ve been using Cécred since May 2024. At first, I didn’t want to buy it because I assumed it was just another celebrity product. I’m careful about what I use, and even though I love Beyoncé, I wasn’t about to put just anything in my hair. But after seeing several tests and reviews from individuals on social media, I got curious. I was particularly waiting for reviews about locks—and when they came, they were all positive.

So, I decided to try the entire line, and everything is truly excellent. My favorites are the two shampoos and the oil. I noticed a real difference in my hair. Before, when I retwisted my locks, my scalp would start itching after just two days. Now, I no longer have that problem. I can go longer between washes without my hair feeling dirty or itchy.

I also use the masks, though it’s harder for me to see the full results because of my locks.

The products have a luxurious scent. For people sensitive to fragrances, it could be a bit much, but for me, it enhances the luxurious experience. It’s the kind of fragrance you’d associate with walking into a palace or a high-end luxury space. Personally, I find it neither too strong nor unpleasant—it’s part of the experience.

In the end, I’ve completely adopted the entire Cécred line into my haircare routine. You have to view it as a range designed for deep hair care, not just styling. It’s also important to look beyond Beyoncé’s image and focus on the formulations and the scientific team behind it, particularly Dr. Karin Williams. There are plenty of great explanatory videos, and everything about the products feels well thought out to me.

The only downside for me is that I’m in France, and the shipping fees and taxes are excessively high. For a €200 order, I end up with €100 in shipping and taxes. I’m hoping they’ll establish a European warehouse soon to make things more accessible.

I brought the oil with high expectations. Wow I was very disappointed. The oil is very watery which makes my hair wirey, bull, and dry. It came in a beautiful silver bottle and not like any of the pictures. I had to wash my hair the next day. My hair goes 7days without washing
Not only was I disappointed but to make things worst my husband asked me what went wrong. It was that noticeable.
This cost me $79.00 in product, taxes and shipping. I wasted my money.

Truly wonderful products. My hair gets clean with the clarifying shampoo without needing to use SOOO much product. The reconstructing treatment mask is fabulous, leaves my hair feeling strong and hydrated. The moisture sealing lotion is like the best leave-in I have ever had the pleasure of using- it leaves my hair moisturized for days, smooth (no frizz), and feeling so soft and healthy. I have high porosity coily hair (3c/4a/4b), and I adore these products.

The only product I semi-liked was the shampoo. It’s a thick and very silky shampoo that really cleans the hair good but the smell isn’t the best. The conditioner and other products have an unpleasant scent. The hair mask’s scent is so bad that I threw away the balance of it. I expected so much more from Beyoncé and I’m very disappointed from the scent of the products down to the customer service which is basically non-existent. Don’t waste your money on this.

Been using Cecred for a while now and I love this product! I will recommend.

The products are thick, heavy and really weigh down hair. I tried the mask and conditioner. I have thick, wiry dry hair and was hoping it'd help. The mask is useful in very hot dry climates though so it's ok for holidays where I leave it in and that is much better. The scent is nice - quite musky. Generally, for normal use? No. I have gone back to L'Oreal Professionel and Kerastase Thermique both absolute winners
