As a home winemaker i used to open my home made sparkling wine with a pair of plyers thats how hard it was to open my bottles. Not any more I use the champagne opener now. It really works.

they didn't work too well .. we had to open 6 cases and it kept slipping off the cork ..... may have been the corks ... I have used one of these before and it worked well, but these didn't work well on this particular cork

The champagne opener arrived quickly which was good because I had a bottle in the fridge that no one had been able to open on New Year's Eve. It worked like a dream! The instructions were clear and it was easy to use. I gave the second one to a friend who is very pleased with it.
