Really bad food, on roadtrip in France from Sweden
My wife and I are on a road trip through large parts of France and Belgium, Troyes, Montpellier, Limoux, Toulouse, Granville to Lille.
We walked around the shopping center "Euralille" in Lille in the late afternoon and thought we would buy something simple to eat. It turned out to be a salmon salad for me and a Caesar salad for my wife from this place "Cafe Club". The place felt messy and unstructured, then when we were going to eat the "food" we bought with us it turned out to be the most substandard thing we have ever paid for. Large uncut messy unfresh flakes of lettuce hidden under a small piece of salmon a small piece of avocado and a few pieces of pasta!! The same with my wife. I got sick to my stomach after the salmon salad, my wife didn't get sick from her "Caesar salad" but she threw most of it away. Substandard! Our recommendation if anyone is reading and thinking about shopping at this place: AVOID!!
Otherwise, good food experiences during the trip in France. By far the best dining experience we had was in Toulouse!
