Me and my family had a few questions about our planning. We spoke to Daniil, who was very patient and knowledgeable. He managed to answer all our questions and put us at ease. Great service overall!

Having drawn up my will with Countrywide Tax and Trust Group a while back, I recently had an online review session of my financial affairs with Will Chiles, one of their private client advisors. Will was so helpful: before our comprehensive online review session of my affairs, he had clearly studied my case in detail and had all the relevant information to hand. In the course of the session he took a lot of trouble to answer various questions I had and to explain and clarify things in plain english!

He also came up with some extremely useful and valuable suggestions as to how I might proceed with a number of variables which had arisen in my circumstances.

His approach was totally professional throughout, but with a good measure of humour too! I felt heard and supported and, above all, well advised, with a gentle offer of assistance and advice regarding the items highlighted by our session.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Countrywide Tax and Trust Group for family estate planning and related matters and am confident that they have my best interests in mind when consulting on my financial affairs and managing my estate as executors of my will.

I unfortunately had the displeasure of dealing with this ignorant company recently. I constantly felt as if I did not matter as I was consistently ignored at every stage.

After 2 months of pain, I finally raised my concerns and was put through to the team leader of the trust management team, Dan. Frankly, I’ve never felt so patronised and belittled in my life. Frustratingly, he did agree with my concerns, but the way he went about dealing with me was so upsetting. The problem was resolved, but I actually ended up feeling worse after our interaction.

I would avoid this company at absolutely any cost.

My experience with Countrywide Tax & Trust has been excellent. They dealt with the process very quickly and professionally. Both Daniel & Deborah went above & beyond their duty, keeping me up to date and explaining all the details that arose. I will definitely be back for additional Trust plans..

Will and Trust
The team at CTT did a great job in helping my mother with her estate planning. They were patient in their explanations of the different scenarios and the implications of each, enabling her to decide how best she wants her wishes and plans to be fulfilled. They then promptly turned around the paperwork to ensure it accurately reflected her wishes.

Daniel was very helpful throughout the final stages of my trust matter. He kept me updated, responded promptly to queries and helped move the trustee resolution, loan documentation and eventual payment through to completion while my usual contact was away. I appreciated his communication and assistance in getting everything finalised.

We have been dealing with a lady called Sophie Higgs in the Trust department who has been incredibly helpful and resolved the issues that we had experienced earlier. She has ensured that the work required has been done efficiently and has communicated/responded to all our queries (which were many). We really appreciate all her help to get things done.

Recently withdrawn our Trust as the customer service been terrible. With their sister company Legacy Wills they have been very hard work. Long delays re communication. Paper work taking weeks/months. Speak to different people all the time and put on hold so they can find info. Messages not passed on especially when I moved out. Extra costs incurred. All this not explained in 2021 and I have been very stressed out. Errors on forms evident. I'm at the moment reporting to FCA because of the disgusting customer care and the whole process.
Would advise anyone to think twice before using this company. It is now 2026 and hopefully can conclude this horrible last few years.

Please do not use this company for creating a family trust. My mother died four years ago and we still haven't received the deeds. They consistently ignore emails and fail to explain the delays. It is frustrating beyond words. Avoid for the sake of your loved ones.

I’ve been trying to get some answers on my late father’s trust over it being sold , the last email was 5 months ago I’ve emailed another 4 times since and not a single reply ! The house is now sold and I don’t have any idea what’s happened to the trustee or the property ? I’ve never known anything like it with such important matters it’s appalling

Dear Countrywide T&T,

Whilst you say that you do not want to engage in a public discussion, you have subsequently chosen to engage, so we will respond.

We fully understand and accept that the clients we introduced were clients of Henceforth. However, having introduced those clients in accordance with our agreement, and having paid CTT for the PPPT product to be completed, the clients and Henceforth are entirely justified in expecting CTT to carry out the services for which it received payment, and to do so within a reasonable timeframe for those clients.

With regard to the specific concerns and ID verifications, CTT charged an additional fee to manage and complete all aspects of this ID process including where necessary directly contacting and supporting clients who were struggling to complete the process. This is fully documented in the communications between our businesses.

It is therefore accurate and reasonable to state that the failure to execute the service paid for, and the failure to provide appropriate support to clients in completing the ID verification process, rests with CTT, having accepted both the clients and payment for those services.

The outstanding client cases date back to 2021, and the exact number is well in excess of 150 clients. We can provide client testimony demonstrating that CTT made no reasonable or meaningful attempt to support many of these clients through the Alpha Legal Identification process. We also have documented evidence of the communications between Henceforth and CTT's ID department which also supports this view.

CTT invoiced an additional fee and was paid, for a service to manage and complete the ID verification process with the client. In a very significant number of cases, that service was not properly executed.

What we find particularly concerning is that when Henceforth were asked to provide assistance with these problems in November 2025, many of the cases had already been left 'pending' unresolved since 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, with very little or no contact for many years from CTT to try and find a solution.

CTT, having failed to resolve these longstanding client issues themselves, subsequently sought our assistance in delivering a service for which Henceforth had already paid CTT to provide. CTT then proceeded to establish regular meetings to monitor how Henceforth was progressing with clients and work that CTT had received payment to complete and itself failed to execute.

To compound matters, when a client understandably refuses to accept the resulting delays and requests a full refund, CTT does not accept full accountability for its own failures. Instead, it expects its introducing agents to bear the majority of the associated refund costs. In our view, this is completely unacceptable, particularly where the underlying service failures and delays are attributable to CTT.

We do not consider CTT’s approach to be either collaborative or professional. In our view, their conduct falls significantly short of the professional and ethical standards that we would reasonably expect. We are therefore seeking guidance from STEP to establish whether our concerns are justified and whether CTT’s approach is consistent with the professional and ethical standards expected within the industry.

More importantly, it appears to us that CTT has lost sight of the significant impact these failures have had on the clients themselves. A substantial number of clients have been left in an extremely distressing and vulnerable position, without the protections they had instructed CTT through our introduction to put in place. As a consequence, these clients may now face significant financial costs and potential exposure which, in our view, arise directly from CTT’s failure to deliver the services for which it had received full payment.

There is also, in our view, a fundamental issue around respect for the agreements CTT has with its agents and the fees charged for services that CTT has agreed to provide. Where a service has been paid for, it is entirely reasonable for both the agent and the client to expect that service to be delivered.

Finally, when looking at some of the other one-star reviews posted publicly by dissatisfied clients, there appear to be concerns raised by others regarding customer care, communication and satisfaction. Unfortunately, our experience as agents has led us to have similar concerns.

We stand by what we have said and are more than happy to provide the supporting correspondence and evidence should CTT wish to engage in a public discussion and dispute the facts outlined above.

This company recently lost its founder, a highly respected and respectful leader, and has since in our view lost its moral and ethical direction.

Kinga Musalik is personable, has extensible knowledge about trusts and is reassuring to deal with. She found a significant issue with a property trust I had stupidly taken with another FA and has also assisted me with advice following the introduction of pension taxation. Her advice is clear and she considers all angles and potential circumstancial changes that could occur in the future. I am not a 'rich' client but I now feel confident that my planning will be executed as I wish when I die and that all angles have been considered.
Having also experienced Countrywide's execution of a trust in relation to ny mum's death I know that they will make it easy for my beneficiaries, which is important to me.
I am moving everything to Kinga's care. (She didnt suggest that by the way). But she has given me peace of mind and I can't thank her enough. I would recommend her services to anyone considering estate planning

Scamming and stealing from people who seek to support their families after their passing is the most abhorrent financial scam I’ve ever witnessed.

7 years of abuse from this company and its staff members to have our home returned to us whilst the settlor is STILL ALIVE has proven that should anyone be stuck with this corrupt company after their loved ones pass away - you’ll be buried in grief and stress for all the aggravation trying to deal with this company produces.

I was hung up on by Agnes today after she repeatedly spoke over me and refused to send copies of the documentation that HMRC needs by law to amend the TRS to reflect the fact they were cast off as trustees in September 2025, after demanding £264 to do so, and they failed to notify HMRC whilst withheld security information for us to access and claim the trust.

You have no shame and frankly should be in prison. The lot of you.
