I cannot believe the appalling service I have received from the Renault dealership. We ordered a brand new car in August and have had to do all of the chasing to try and find out where it is in the production line. We find out today that they have not even ordered it.
The communication from the garage has been terrible. We have had to make all of the phone calls and emails. They have not done any of the follow up you would expect from a car salesman. It is a good car and I wanted a Renault but I would absolutely choose a different franchise if you want to buy one. Don’t use County garage for your new Renault

I have used county garage for over 29 years with various cars and what a disappointment now taken over by Vospers . Absolutely terrible service. The reception team on Renault are rude and unhelpful and that’s being perlite.I wouldn’t use them again. And I certainly wouldn’t recommend them.

Very impressed with the overall experience of purchasing a vehicle from this garage. The reception staff were very welcoming and the sales staff especially Greig was very professional throughout the whole transaction.
Really pleased with second hand vehicle we brought.

We bought a second-hand 2019 Diesel Dacia Duster. It ran beautifully for 2-3 thousand miles then issues arose with its emissions system. The garage always fixed the problem and returned the car thoroughly cleaned. Unfortunately the problem re-occurred every 2-3 thousand miles. After the guarantee expired County kindly offered to take it back and give us a good deal on a new(ish) petrol Sandero Stepway, which we are very pleased with. It's just as economical as the Diesel, which surprised us. We have an older Diesel Dacia which has given no trouble, so assume it's the additional emissions system causing the problem.

This is my second new car from County Garage Group Barnstaple, a Dacia Sandero Stepway Supreme Automatic, both sold to me by Jon in an efficient, knowledgeable, confident, friendly way. The first one was so good I had to try another one. Very happy to recommend both the garage and Jon.

Down in Devon on holiday and the tailgate of my Range Rover was not shutting properly, maybe not an issue but our precious cargo of two Weimaraner in the back need to be safe with such a long drive home. Popped in on the off chance. Met a great guy, apologies, did not get his name, on the Land Rover Service
Desk. Came and had a look, diagnosed the problem, gave us a solution pending getting home and to our regular service provider. He did not need to spend that time, he did not charge and he was a credit to himself and the garage. thank you.

James (Vauxhall, Barnstaple) is old fashioned great service combined with 21C knowledge. While most other dealers are uninspiriing, James is a one horse race when it comes to everything important. I REALLY RECOMMEND people go and see him when buying a new car. Vauxhall Combo, same chasis, engine, brakes, electrics as the Toyota / Citroen / Renaut but better looking body IMHO, MADE IN THE UK, and you get James as the icing on top.

Buying a Kia from Adam at County Cars Barnstaple was a straightforward and pleasant experience. Adam was cheerful, helpful and polite throughout the whole process. Would certainly recommend County Garage as being well organised, with a good selection of cars. Thank you Adam

County Garage Group KIA ticked all the right boxes for us. Adam, the salesman, prove incredibly helpful and even sorted out my IT issues, bless him. We didn't require an all singing, all dancing, top of the range model and Adam ensured we got what we asked for. The car was produced from scratch so there was a delay from ordering to delivery, and the Christmas shut-down did not help matters, but in the end it worked out to our advantage, especially financially. All in all, a very pleasing experience.

Ben Street was very helpful when we made our first purchase from County Garage. We were very happy with the deal we got, everything went very smoothly and we took delivery earlier than expected.😊😊 Would not hesitate in recommending .

Another excellent experience with County Land Rover servicing. I have used them now for four services of my Land Rover Discovery Sport. I travel over two hours past other dealerships and garages for their expertise and value for money. Another great experience - thank you.

I have used county Mazda in Barnstaple twice now for my CX-5 after two quite serious problems that other garages were unable to diagnose. My husband phoned and spoke to Barry who knew exactly what the issue was and had extensive knowledge. They fixed my car incredibly quickly and my car now runs like a dream. I also cannot praise Michelle’s customer care at reception enough, she was incredibly welcoming, professional and helpful. I highly recommend this garage and will not be taking my car anywhere else in the future.
