Logs out and doesn't save work

This website was awesome before the update. It now logs you out without telling you, even if you're actively making cards, and then doesn't save any of it when you go to save your edits. Actually unbelievable. Expect any users to immediately look elsewhere. If the owners are not aware of this, fix this immediately. Horrible. I've lost hours of flashcards in the past week.

The site looks like ass now!

Just a day before, the site looked good and all of the games worked on there. Jewels of Wisdom came in clutch for my History exam. But now the site looks like garbage. They took the damn minimalist look and added AI nonsense to the damn site and took what worked before away for a more boring experience. They even took away Jewels of Wisdom, and that game saved me from failure. I was going to use this site to help out my friends in my Texas History class but now I can't because cram.com now made their website look like shit!!!

Really bad

Really bad! Avoid! Will never use again. Do not use! They will keep taking 30 GBP a month even if you don't use the service. We didn't even realised we had signed up to a monthly fee. Customer service refused to refund us when we found out 12 months later that we had been paying 30 pounds a month for a service we didn't even know we have signed up for.

Another scam!

They have finally caught on to the scamming policy to users. Its a shame..I am sure they are situated in a remote island that siphons money from users. It was a fun site that my students thoroughly enjoyed...Too bad!
Now its a ponzi scheme to gather our money. Sad to see it go, nice while it lasted. I too got a response that the techs are aware of the problem and have been working on it. Can anyone suggest another site similar to cram.com?
Thanks

Absolutely Deplorable

I am a PAYING cram.com premium member, and after making my first couple sets of cards, the iOS app was getting really buggy. It started spontaneously freezing and then disappearing. So I did what I always do when apps on my iPhone aren’t working. I deleted the app with the intention of immediately re-downloading it.

However, imagine my surprise when I searched for Cram in the iOS App Store, and it had suddenly DISAPPEARED! It literally no longer exists. When I go to the cram website, and try clicking on the link to “download the app” from the AppStore, a message comes up that says “this app is no longer available in your country.” And no… I don’t live in some remote, land-locked island country with 10 inhabitants… I live in the freaking US! So for those of us that live in the United States and have iPhones… what… we’re just screwed? I PAID for this app! I’ve had it for one month and suddenly all the work I’ve put in to making these cards is for nothing.

I wrote to Cram’s “customer service” and didn’t hear back for three days. Their response? “Cram.com is aware that there is an issue and we currently have a team working on it. We have refunded the past two month’s charges to your account.”

Great. So I get my $10 back. What about my time? I had poured HOURS AND HOURS of painstaking effort into designing an entire semester’s worth of cards for general chemistry. I had color-coded each of them and had researched methods by which to add special chemistry symbols to the cards — using emoji keyboards to put subscripts and Greek letters and exponents and special units onto them.

To top it off, I am an older student who has returned to university for a second degree, and have always hand-written my notecards in the past, with great success. However, I decided to try something new this semester and cram.com boasted its unique features so well that I decided to risk it and take the leap from paper to digital notecards.

Those “features” that I speak of? The ones advertised on their website? It turns out that none of them work. They claim to have a game feature, which only works on a laptop and won’t even open on a tablet or phone. They claim to have a “special keyboard” for symbols (like those we use in chemistry), but when I click on the keyboard, a blank space appears.

I’ve heard rumors that cram.com has not been operational for some time now, and that the engineers behind it don’t even manage the site. You know what’s funny about that? The website worked just fine when it came to processing my subscription! There wasn’t a single hiccup whatsoever when they charged my credit card for their nonexistent “services”.

And what about the ads that pepper the site — even for paying customers? Those banners seem to be fully functional and operational. That’s odd, isn’t it?

It appears to me that the cram.com “team” is composed of a single human, whose sole purpose is to maintain the system that siphons money from paying customers, and not a single thing more. There is no technical upkeep of the program being advertised. No maintenance whatsoever. And what’s worse… there is zero communication of that to customers. Not single sentence on the cram.com website indicating that their mobile app DOESN’T EXIST ANYMORE. Not even in some obscure corner of the site that rarely sees traffic.

The lack of communication regarding the disappearance of the mobile app is, at best, a flagrant breach of customer trust and basic business integrity. At worst, it’s a violation of the law. I paid for a service, and shortly after I did so, that service ceased to exist. And I was never informed why, nor was I given an ETA on if or when it might ever be resolved.

I’ll be going back to paper notecards after this semester. I wish I’d never explored the digital route. Hours of my time and energy was wasted because of cram.com. And they don’t even have the decency to explain why.

Asked me to sign into Google to read an…

Asked me to sign into Google to read an article (which shouldn't be necessary anyway).

Then when I do they require payment (which they never told me about before signing up).

Complete and utter scam of a company!

Don’t gaslight me hun x

I always use the website to write my notes. I was preparing for an upcoming exam and then suddenly my notes on my upcoming exam have mostly disappeared (36/ around 150 remain) and the sets I had deleted have come back. After emailing they blamed me for not saving them and using the app. I didn’t even know there was an app. Now for me, I’d like to know that my notes are safe for an exam, luckily the exam isn’t going to be that hard or I’d be very stressed.

Cram has obviously had a server issue and has backdated it as my deleted files reappeared and my recent file went back in time! Rather than admitting it they’d rather gaslight me. I’m using Brainscape now they’re much better.

If anyone from Cram reads this, don’t respond you’ve had your chance to rectify the issue and you didn’t, by responding to this you’re just proving you don’t bother to actually read.

Gemmer ikke!

Jeg oplevede flere gange at mine flashcards blev slettet, når jeg trykkede update set. Flere af de flashcards jeg allerede havde gemt tidligere blev også slettet. Meget spildt arbejde!!
