These people have still charged me $34.95 despite me calling them twice this week to cancel my account and them saying that my account has been canceled. Literally, the customer support operator told me on Wednesday that my account has been officially canceled as of Monday, April 17th. As if you guys haven't already charged me enough over the period of 18th months that you have now charged me again for the 19th time.

I should have known that since they didn't send the confirmation email, they kept saying I would receive it in 24-48 hours. Absolute liars!!

I would give zero stars if allowed.
As per most of the reviews already...I'm not even sure if I signed up for this or if I clicked on it and my laptop auto-filled. However I was signed up I never used it and never received a monthly statement, or a receipt for signing up. This is a scam and of no use to me whatsoever. Beware!!!!! I finally managed t cancel it after the person on the phone told me that I had signed up for it. Nope. I did not!

Edit: yes I did call you but I had to Google search to find out who I was even looking for based on the charges on my cc because you never sent me any sort of monthly invoice or acknowledgment that I had even signed up! What are you trying to hide by not sending out monthly receipts like every other subscription service? I'll tell you what...the fact that you are a scam! I also was never offered any sort of refund like a lot of the other people you scammed!

I'm a poor student looking for a job and I got connected with a hiring manager asking to go to CreditVerify and send a screenshot from there.
They informed me that it's not going to cost anything, only $1 for verification purposes.

Then, after 2 months, I see 2 charges for $34.95. I called them today to cancel, (talked to Zakary!!) and they said that they only see the charge of $1 on my account (absolute scammers).
Now, after canceling my membership, they say that they can only proceed with 25% refund.... And I'm not even sure if it's gonna be deposited or not...

Don't get baited guys!

I just got off the phone and they did cancel my membership but refused to give me a refund!!! I am livid and do not even remember signing up for this until I got a charge from my card. This is how they scam you and keep your money!

I would give zero stars if I could.
This program wouldn’t allow me to input any info and never gave me a credit score because it didn’t have enough info. Then in March I was charged $34.95 so I called on March 9th, explained and they wouldn’t give me a refund but said she had cancelled my account and I would not be charged again. Now in April I have been charged $34.95 again!! I called and was told the person I spoke with in March didn’t process my cancellation but that my account will be cancelled today and I will be refunded for this month. That cancellation and refund better be processed immediately! Do NOT use this scam of a company! They are clearly only out to take your money.

Edit: Read my whole review. I did call. Nobody was there or picked up or hung up immediately. Your copy paste reply is terrible as is your company.

SCAM! Was looking for a job, and the "recruiter" sent me a link to this site for a credit check, so I thought nothing of it. Signed up, and now being charged monthly. Searched out the recruiter and their entire profile was deleted. Tried calling to cancel, but it keeps hanging up. Looking at the previous comments, I shouldn't have to unblock my number for you guys to pick up and let me cancel this.

Go to Transunion directly and pay their price, which is cheaper than this scam site.

Scam They charged my credit card $34. Now I have to call around to try and get the charges stopped before it happens again

No memory of how I interacted with this company in the first place. They have been billing my credit card monthly and when I finally realized it they were impossible to contact.

I am on hold with my bank as I read this to our Stop payment on these crooks!

I've been calling this company all morning and getting hold music then hung up on. I have no memory of signing up for this service but may have for some type of offer I did a couple years ago.
I noticed a charge in my bank account for it a few days ago and called the number, the hold music went on and on. Began trying again this morning only to get hung up on repeatedly.
After reading these reviews, I'll be contesting this charge with my bank and I want the account closed TODAY!!!

Edit- I have since heard from the company and my cancelation has been now processed.

Please help cancel the membership. I accidentally connected, I don't know English well and I use a translator. I can't make a phone call and it's hard for me to speak. I came from Ukraine because of the war. I am in a difficult situation now and this is a significant amount for me. I don't need a membership. Please finish it! Thank you!

its a SCAM! they steal your card info. As the whole thing looks fishy.
I got a job offer from linkedin everything about the way the company requested me to do a credit check RIGHT AWAY! it DIDN"T made sense. Without an interview and a high salary. Why would a company ask for a credit check? I did a bit of homework, and found out this creditverify.ca is a SCAM!

I was not aware that they were going to sign me up for a trial. I initially thought the i was putting my CC for just verification. This is a scam.

This is a very fraudulent company and they partner with loan companies to defraud people.
I was applying for a loan and there was an offer to signup with CreditVerify, i declined the offer, yet they charged me $1 and $34.95. i called them at 18777515899, they cancelled the subscription and were offering a 50% refund but i demanded for a full refund because i didn't signup with them in the first place. they refused and said it is 50% refund, so i called my bank and disputed the transaction and got my full refund.
THEY ARE SCAMMERS, AVOID THEM!

I registered to get a one-time report for $1 as advertised. Have been charged roughly 40 CAD since then every month, and only accidentally noticed that today.
The website didn't make it clear that I'm subscribing to a paid service - instead it highlights that they only need your credit card to verify your identity... I would call this a scam and I imagine most of the payees are paying not by choice, but by accident - just like me.
I demand a refund of the total charges made over 3 months. This is just unacceptable business. Will report to my bank.
There's no way to cancel subscription online - you need to call their number and it's hard to get through. Besides the number is not toll free from outside US so there's no way to cancel for free if I'm abroad. This is just not right.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! This company is complete scam!!
I just signed up for the $1 credit check and now I’ve been charged twice for $17.48 and they just tried again for $36 today.

I’ve emailed them with NO ANSWER. Gone to their website and called the 866 number and it’s not in service.
Cancel my account and give my money back!! Awful company, I am contacting my credit card company to block this merchant and will be definitely telling everyone I can abojt this

Scam plain and simple. Somehow started charging my credit card even though I am 100% I did not agree to pay them anything. Found dozens of reviews from others having a similar fraudulent experience. Called their customer service to cancel and refund and they would not give a full refund. They called me back after I told them I was calling my credit card company to report them and agreed to refund a $35 charge but not the $1 charge. Very infuriating.

I still have no idea how they got into my savings account thru my husband's debit card. Yet they had an account under my name and email address. They are legitimately a scam. Their website covers faqs regarding all the things that scammers do in order to cover their ass.

Horrible
Repeadly charged me. The lady on the phone was rude and spreading misinformation. Told me they were open 24/7 but when I called and online shows they clearly are not. Repeadly charged my card then offered ad 25% refund. After questioning her Repeadly she went up to 50% but I will be disputing the charges.

Yes lol I got a refund for $17 when I was charged $45. Unless u get fully refunded I will be disputing it with the bank like every other review here has stated.
