What an AMAZING team ! I had a rather difficult shipment, that needed some special attention. Information was minimal, but with the support and guidance we managed to get all the information.

The team went over and beyond to get my shipment sorted and onto my customer.

Barry and Stuart went to London to collect my sofas.what can I say these lads are amazing very professional kept me updated all day throughout the journey they came to liverpool do drop the sofas off would definitely say the best and great price thanks again 👍

The cooperation has been going well so far, but the company is starting to make jokes, e.g. sends a driver with pallets before opening and sends additional very large invoices for payment, or sends import documents for payment and then writes that the goods arrived 10 days earlier. This is the end of our cooperation and I advise everyone to be careful, they love additional invoices!

Got a shipment delivered from Davies turner on opening of a new gym and they knew the importance of this and how tight for time the delivery was needed, the crates arrived when they were supposed to on the agreed date but one missing that we needed as was half the equipment needed to build the other half and the driver can only tell us the crate is damaged it’s been left at Felixstowe hundreds of miles away, 2 days later got an answer and it arrived the following week and the driver wasn’t lying the crate was broken up and parts missing and Davies and turner never had any idea where they were and we had to re order them from China at our cost, so £6000 all in for shipping and fees for a nightmare, we tried to give them benefit of doubt and asked them to price us for a second shipment coming soon which they replied due to our attitude the last time they won’t be seeking to work with us lol, anyone who’s gave a company £6000 to receive missing parts and half an order would be annoyed so we have a company booked for our next shipment and they are already a lot better to deal with

If I could get you zero stars that what I would do.
desapeared with my pallet and says its on the system as delivered!
taking over a week and they still dont know and cant give me info on that.
The cctv in my warehouse confirms its not delivered.
I can see I'm going to have to spend a lot of effort and energy to solve this one.

I got a random phone call from Davies Turner (DT) not knowing who the company was vs the call handler. They (unexpectedly to me) had a shipment from an EU vendor I’d purchased from many times before (UPS/FEDEX used in the past). It later became apparent DT was involved due to the weight of the shipment and it being on a small (unnecessary) pallet.

Having stated there was an error with the customs documents, they said they could sort it out before submitting. I confirmed over the phone it was a private import, but they then wanted this again via email. They also sent me their list of charges. Heard nothing for about 48hrs until an email said to proceed I needed to accept the charges (1st I had heard and what choice does a buyer have?!). I asked what my charges would be, they couldn’t tell me.

They were unable to accept any documentation I’d been given to correct the error, even adding unnecessary complexity to the situation. No activity over the weekend, come Monday I was informed of storage charges accruing (despite no one at DT being in over the weekend or informed prior) so to escape bureaucratic limbo the shipment was submitted with stated errors (as it was cheaper) and delivered.

Overall, compared to UPS, Davies Turner are far more expensive, close to x10 more expensive in clearance fees alone (more so if the shipment has numerous tariff codes or value) and complex, requiring far more involvement in terms of communications for customs clearance for the same service as the cheaper alternatives.

We ordered some consignment from China and was delivered in about 4weeks by sea making massive savings of over £2000 compared to our regular express service by Air! This 0.5CBM weighing about 300kgs would have costed us about £3k using 2-3Days Express Service, but we waited for 28days and paid only £476!!. If you have room and luxury of waiting, please use them and savings will be massive! DT should be your first Stop. Thanks to Jade who supported us all the way from Documentation, clearance and delivery to our warehouse. Their counterparts in China were also very fast & reliable. The consignment was picked within 3hours of placing order and was on the way to UK same day by sea. If I was to give 6-Stars, I would have given them all.

I've worked with Martin Leigh and his team for the past 15+ years and cannot fault their service in any way. Martin goes above and beyond to make the Customs clearance process much less daunting, and has helped us to always keep our clients happy. Joe and Ellie currently look after our deep sea import clearances and are both extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with.

Ordered a package from China and Davies Turner were assigned to me to handle the UK side of things. I had dealings with Brandon and Tracy from DT and they were brilliant, talked me through every stage and process. Well done and thanks again.

A very good personal service that goes above and beyond expectations. Always fully up to speed where our shipments are as well as easily contactable to help resolve any queries. The best forwarder on the market for a good all round service inclusive of price, service and customs compliance. Very knowledgeable and helpful with anything Customs related.

TVS have been using Davies Turner for several years now and in all that time the service they have provided us with has been excellent. Brandon from Dartford sorted the transfer of goods from depot to us directly. Was glad he took the leg work out of it for me as it was a busy week. No problems and hassle free.

I have always had a fantastic service with DT. The support has always been great, and they will answer emails very quickly. I use them on a daily basis, and have done for sometime now, and the service is just great.
I love dealing with Edith and Kasia, as they respond very quickly to quotes and pick up requests, which is always good when, customers require a quick turn around.

Expert knowledge of both domestic and international shipping. Their fantastic customer service gives us constant updates on the progress of all our shipments. The confidence and reassurance alone means we would not go anywhere else.

Ordered a consignment from China in January and DT were the clearing agents for my goods, Tracy and Brandon from the Dartford depot did all the paperwork with no hidden extras. The load was transferred to the Manchester depot with no hassle whatsoever and I was kept informed by Tracy every step of the way! Great to deal with professional people who know their stuff and I will be using them in the future.
