Excessive delays, poor communication and then the day the delivery is supposed to happen I came into work specially and they won't deliver because I'm in a pedestrianised zone!
Absolute joke I would never use again or recommend in a million years.
The delays have been damaging to my small business - I can only pray that the same happens to them as it is completely unacceptable to treat customers like they are worthless.
The only positive was Ryan who seemed to be trying his best but there are clearly cultural issues with this company.
Do not use.
DO NOT USE THESE
Never have we dealt with such and inefficacy, rudeness and aggressive couriers, threaten to charge daily for our pallet when they need to sort out the paperwork. Will never use again
Abysmal service
Abysmal service. Avoid at all costs.
Had a maserati engine coming from Poland to the uk. The engine left ratchet strapped and black shrink wrapped up. It crossed the border and these guys took care of the package from customs to their warehouse.
On arrival to me, the engine ratchet straps had been removed and the black shrink wrap had been partially removed, the massive pallet it was on had been swapped for a tiny flimsy one.
The engine arrived to me with massive holes through its top cam covers along with snapped brackets and plugs from where it’s toppled over. The delivery driver acknowledged it had been damaged and told me he would make a note of it and report it.
Again, Absolutely abysmal service and would avoid these at all costs. They’re now chasing for a £50 charge for their services, which I will not be paying until they refund me for the damages I had to pay out of my own pocket for this engine.
Expensive service always on there terms
They seem to charge a fortune and blame other people for the charges, they are a very awkward company to deal with, we had to make a special trip into manchester on a friday afternoon because we were only advised at 7am on the morning our goods were ready and we would be charged if not collected that day, would avoid using these if you can

A complete joke of a manager does not bother responding to emails or phone calls. The only one email I receive back after sending 6 emails does not correlate to anything I have asked.
Davies Turner needs a new manager for this department.
AVOID THIS COMPANY
They took money for service, they lost my goods, they took losses in my company, they lied that goods were on the way, I waited a week, then I called them and they said that goods were lost. They did not even bother to call to inform you that they lost my goods.
worst ever service and rude personnel
Worst ever customer service provided by Morgan Purcell, Temp Road Imports Trainee. Davies Turner deliberately hold our stock in their warehouse to black mail us and demanded surprisingly GBP 15. The delivery was delayed for two weeks because of that. Will nether use this company gong forward.

The worst service ever I received. I warn you people in world, never use this company as poor communication and worst service ever I received. Try to make money on them mistakes like charging storage fee after they hold item without let us know.
Avoid-POOR SERVICE
Avoid. very poor service . unfortunately , we have to use them for customs clearance and to ship our products from Dartford. it takes ages to know the status of our shipping . no communication , very slow in replying / responding to you . they do not care at all. we import medical devices and it is about 10 days now and they said will be instructed for customs clearance soon !!! We will not use them again

They lie to you, try to steal your goods, refuse to give you the complaints email, laugh in your face, give you the run around, cause you more stress than you can possibly cope with. Do not use this company!!
I had a lot of issues with this…
I had a lot of issues with this company.
First of all, they miss the dates of the delivery agreed, when I replied that's it's fine and let's reschedule it they set the ETA for Thursday.. and arrive on Tuesday. I specifically mentioned that I have to hire forklift and they should call prior to arriving on site. The logistic coordinator than was blaming me for having issues on-site and not able to offload cargoes.
Very unprofessional and not trustworthy company.
Save your time and have a deal with somebody else.

My delivery/consigment was from Davies Turner Coleshill depot.
The contact at Coleshill was Sarah who phoned me with clear details of the day and approx. time of delivery. Sarah demonstrated a good customer rapport with a friendly, helpful manner.
The delivery arrived as planned. The driver Pete, was also very courteous and helpful ensuring the product was located to the correct area.
I would clearly recommend this company for future deliveries.
I have used Davis Turner for two…
I have used Davis Turner for two shipments. the first came a day late and the delivery was damaged (a fork lift was rammed into the side of the article that was being shipped). the second time they once again are late. in both occasions Davies turner used the same sub contractor for the delivery. At no time did any one at Davies Turner communicate with me (the reciever) nor with the shipper - i guess they hoped that we would forget however after waiting two full days at home I am definitely not going to forget. if they treat all customers this way i expect them to be out of business in a year at the most and the world will be better off as a result.
i love it they were completely unresponsive and unhelpful during the delivery process and now they say speak to us directly to resolve any problems. We did and you failed.
