The team at Davis & Co were incredibly helpful and patient with us throughout the process of buying our first home. Whilst the process itself wasn't straightforward, they were always there to give advice and guidance, and even offered a discounted fee when our first house purchase fell through. They were also vigilant in making sure all the right questions had been asked and that we had all the answers we needed, which put our minds at ease. As well as this, the final stages of our purchase involved tight deadlines which Davis & Co went above and beyond to accommodate, and made us feel like a priority. Would 100% recommend Davis & Co to anyone - especially if you are first time buyers as they are great at guiding you through the process, which can otherwise feel quite daunting at times. We will certainly use them again in the future.

Friendly and professional

We still talk about how fantastic David & Co are, having moved over a month ago. Rose went above and beyond as our solicitor. We were in a lengthy chain but she took control of the process, clearly had a lot of experience and was a brilliant support for us. Organised and quick to respond to any questions, we wouldn’t choose anybody else if we needed a solicitor again. Thank you so much for making everything easier and getting us into our new home!

Our case has not been easy but Rose and her team have been very allert and kept us in the picture. Faults down the line with our buyer and chain have caused problems but we have been prompt in our replies to help our buyer as much as we could. The Techie side often gave me problems and I have been staggered by the amount of paperwork needed today. A very difficult job today but we are very happy with the end result.

What makes this so good is the personal touch and going above and beyond. The prompt and efficient service is accompanied by a real sense that you and your move matter to them and that you are not just another client. I felt I could rely on Rose and her team to look out for my best interests and trust their advice. Our experience with Davis & Co. for the purchase of our first house has been great from start to finish.

Their pricing is transparent and you can get a quote instantly on their website. Once signed up, they give regular updates throughout the process, and work fast and efficiently. I’ve had people tell me that “all solicitors” need to be chased to get things done during a house purchase but I can confidently say that we’ve never once had to “chase” anyone at Davis and Co for anything and they’ve always been very quick, responsive and proactive.

They have been thorough with checking the documents received from the sellers, the search results and even the details in our survey, and following up on all these until they had clear answers. Smyia has taken a lot of time to explain these to us in detail over both phone and email.

We had some issues with the sale further down the chain at some point, and later some minor complications with a request from our seller. Rose was calm and handled it all while advising us on our options, and that helped us not stress out over any of it as well because we felt we had the support of someone we could trust to do whatever was in our best interest.

I couldn’t recommend Davis and Co. enough, and they were also recommended to me by three other colleagues at work, who have all bought their first houses with them.
