Bought 2 batteries
Bought 2 batteries, 12 volt, 100 amp. Batteries that arrived were not what I ordered. The old batteries had lead terminals that stuck up and took a size 13mm bolt. New batteries have flush terminals with 10 mm bolt. Original batteries went to 26.5 when fully charged, slight incline from house to the road they would pull down to 25. When new batteries fitted on a full charge went to 26.5 but when I went up the slope they pulled down to 22, plus they do not have the same power as the original batteries. These were not the batteries I ordered, I emphasised about the battery posts but this is what arrived. I phoned to complain but was assured they were alright - but they are not!

I am sorry that you have been disappointed with the batteries that you have received, resulting in your decision to leave a 1 STAR Review.
The batteries supplied are Brand New Replacements for the Easy Rider mobility scooter.
If you can have the new batteries tested locally, and if they are faulty we will replace them under warranty for free.
Or if you can phone Andrew on 01245 905144 he will be able to assist you further.

The Scooter you have received was supplied to you from Drive Medical and is brand new. and was inspected and signed for on the delivery in your absence by your wife.
We have now driven from Preston to your address in Essex on two occasions, both on pre-arranged appointments to inspect your mobility scooter, and to find no one at your property on our arrival.
We have already agreed that we will accept a return against your mobility scooter, but unless we are able to meet you or a representative at your property we will be unable to collect the scooter.
Please contact Discount Mobility at your earliest on 01245 905144 to make the required arrangments for the safe return of your mobility scooter.

Purchased this on the 30th June 2019 after 3 weeks found a fault on the scooter have now been waiting 4 weeks to get scooter fixed tried to charge £80 for an engineer to come out even though it is still under manufacturer warranty. Would never purchase from this company nothing but hassle and been so stressful for my disabled husband who has now been housbond for 4 weeks as he relies on this scooter to get out and about

Purchased a van os yoga excel rubbish
Purchased a van os yoga excel, didn’t work when arrived, sent me a new charger to no avail, sent out a engineer, stated loose connection, used it for holiday only for it to stop working at check in, had to get parents to collect it, had to hire one at £90 now it’s like new not used every day and they want to charge me £80 to get a engineer out, even though it’s only 10 month old and was faulty from new, disgusting and would expect it to last more than 10 months, never will I use again this company and I should of insisted on a replacement when it arrived not working, will be pursuing this case issue for inconvenience and unsatisfied customer service,
Also the speed of the service your having a laugh, I emailed last week to arrange the repair and no reply from you , I spoke to you hours ago, and I’m still awaiting a phone call from you to arrange this repair, how long does it take you to sort a appointment ? i am disabled and being without a scooter restricts me even more , so come on discount mobility let’s get this problem sorted , and another thing when I asked about upgrading the warranty you told me you don’t have one, think you need to update your staff !!

I understand that you have already spoken to a member of the customer care team today (15/05/2019) and they are making arrangements to fix a date for an engineer to come out to look at your VanOs Yoga Mobility Scooter.
The £80.00 RTB Warranty call out fee is stipulated in our terms and conditions when buying any mobility scooter from Discount Mobility. https://www.discount-mobility.co.uk/pg50125/warranty-and-guarantee.html
And details are also listed on how to make a claim: "If you encounter an issue with your product you are advised to call us first on 01245 905144 where we will be able to advise on the best course of action. This may also help speed up the process as it may be we can repair the item at your address or order replacement parts whilst we are awaiting your item at our workshop!"
During the online checkout, customers are requested to select either the “Free RTB Warranty” as selected on your purchase or the “Gold 12 months peace of mind warranty” for £79 extra.
If the “Gold peace of mind warranty” is selected as an option, all the engineered call out will be free for the entire 12 months of the warranty period.
However, at this present time, the priority is to get your mobility scooter working again and we hope to be able to arrange for an engineer to come out to you ASAP.
