Very bad customer service
Very bad customer service, had several failed collections and nobody showing up on the collection day. Still no refund and no communication. Terrible will not be using online again
Staff very helpful
Trouble finding what we wanted, kind member of staff took us straight to what we wanted, at checkout had trouble scanning discount code, again member of staff on hand to sort it out and even took our purchases to the car for us. Love BandQ service.

I am disabled and use a wheelchair
I am disabled and use a wheelchair. Recently my chair "Gladys" was taken in for service but I needed an item from B&Q so arrived to find a store wheelchair ready for use. How great is that. So my husband could push and I could put the gardening plants and seeds into the basket on the front. Great.

Absolte rubbish service and communication.
Ordered one fence panel, no problem.
At the same time, I also ordered 4 bags of postcrete, they delivered 8.
Also ordered 2 x 100 mm fence posts, they delivered 4 all on different days from different supplier's
Returned excess items with the delivery driver.
Not content with a very poor delivery service, they invoiced me and took the money twice.
This amounted to £103.13 on each occasion
I have contacted them on several occasions but they will not respond.
I have instructed my bank to recover the £103.13 duplicate charge.
B&Q should concentrate on selling from their stores only, when it comes to deliveries, they are complete amateurs.
I made a mistake selecting B&Q but never again

Damaged goods
It is regarding an order I placed which was delivered on the 16th March, this order came to £1433.72. I had to get in touch first with the wet wall being damaged which was eventually replaced nearly a week later given the wrong delivery date had to call on said delivery date only to be told sorry it was the following day it was getting delivered then having to take another day off to send the original damaged panels back with a different courier now we are getting around to do the ceiling and the blooming ceiling panels are damaged. You have no idea the hassle this has caused. Arranging for workmen then having to cancel because the goods are damaged. I am absolutely fuming with B&q.
Calling customer service is a joke, waited 40 minutes on hold, only to be told someone will be in touch in 48hours . Then was compensated a measly £25 eventually upped to £30 (probably cost me that in time on calls never mind the days off) but only after explaining all the issues several times with customer service saying that they didn’t have any records of it even though each time I called I specifically asked for it to be recorded on my account and then being challenged by representative over previously being told that they wouldn’t discuss compensation until order was fully fulfilled so trying to say I was too late to complain completely shambolic system!!

I purchased 3 items to qualify for a £12 discount. At checkout I was told the voucher had been applied and could not be applied twice (I have a screenshot confirming this) - after I placed the order it was clear no voucher has been applied.
I’ve just this morning spent 55 minutes trying to cancel the order with the customer service team - apparently my issue because they have multiple different sellers that needed cancelling. They were unable to give me £12 off my delivery to compensate for this. The other suggestion was I email customer service with the screenshot but told this would take days for them to review by which point the order would be being delivered!
If this had been flagged in the checkout then I would have changed my order.
The lack of clarity through the checkout and the inability of the customer service team to simply resolve by either cancelling the order with minimum fuss or offering me an alternative is ridiculous.
Can’t believe I’ve had to spend so long trying to cancel an order over £100 for the sake of a voucher. Awful.

Got several bags of stones for a border. chap carried them all into my driveway for me friendly, great comms and service and stones look great

Timely delivery, good packing, package size a problem
The delivery was on time, packing was good. One problem though. The packing was smaller than the plant due to which the top part of the plant was folded into the package. Due to this, one of the two tiny branches of the plant got broken. While I have planted it, and hope it grows, I will get back if it doesn't. Thanks.
