four of us had Afternoon Tea .The staff were really friendly and welcoming .The sandwiches were so fresh and deep filled .The scones were beautiful .The cakes were delicious and there was plenty of of tea .The price was very good .Will return and highly recommend !

Dobbies cafe was terrible service, waited more than 20 minutes before walking out as no one would take our order, it wasnt even busy either, people arriving after ourselves was served with drinks and orders taken, appalling service, staff stood talking amongst themselves while people are sat waiting for their order to be taken and drinks served

Sadly this garden centre has really gone downhill. The products for Christmas are poor quality and the displays are really mediocre compared to other garden centres. The toilets were not very nice and the cafe was absolutely disgusting, filthy tables, filthy chairs and the area where they were making drinks was so dirty it didn’t look like it had been cleaned properly for weeks. I won’t be visiting again.

Treated myself to 2 plants on my birthday last month. Very disappointed as they went horrible very soon. I phoned up Dobbies and was told to bring them back with receipt. I did this and I was told that they didn't give refunds for houseplants!
Won't be buying any more from them for sure!

Using cafe in Cirencester branch and the wait is unbelievable, waiting 30 minutes so far. More annoyingly, second bar is only used for visitors having meal, which is waitress service, with staff twiddling their thumbs. Manager needs to manage customer expectation better.
Only two on the coffee bar one taking orders and one serving hot drinks. Not only that when there is no tea spoons, forks, tea cups one the persons serving has to leave their post to replenish.
Also, a smile on the staff faces won’t go a miss 😱

Went for a coffee in Dobbies garden centre, what a bad decision that was! The queue for the cafe was spilling out onto the shop floor, only 2 staff members behind the till, orders were getting mixed up, just chaos. Then to make it worse there were no seats in the cafe section, there were tables without chairs?!? Are we supposed to stand? We decided to sit in the restaurant area as that wasn’t busy at all, no one told us to move, however they put a barrier across the entrance to the restaurant so no one else could sit in there. Customers from the cafe were coming over into the restaurant but a staff member was turning them away and when customers asked for chairs to sit on the staff member snatched a chair out of the gentlemans hands and told him to find another seat. Just awful behaviour and for what reason? The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, about 3-4 tables were occupied. The cafe seating area needs to be bigger to avoid people standing around and encroaching onto the restaurant area, or just merge the two spaces so people can sit wherever they want!

20% off everything in store, but not when you get to the till, no, chocolate not included.
The biggest part of the bill, small presents for friends, not included.
I would appear that "everthing" has a different meaning to Dobbies.

Fabulous time at Scarelings Cirencester, the afternoon tea for the little ones was great! Adults coffee and cake! Decorated pumpkins and got to take away, games and a story - well done, great value for money

Lady on the till was very helpful when I wanted to join Dobbies Club. She completed all the relevant forms and explained all the benefits to me.

Store was great. The restaurant staff on the coffee and cake area may need some customers care refresher. They chatted between each other. The queue was getting longer and longer. No interaction with the customers. Sorry but coming from catering back ground this was awful

5 on the table took 25 minutes from first plate to last to arrive,last couple of plates cold not good enough . Cirencester garden centre

Only visited cafe,quick stop at mini Waitrose . Friendly staff. Basically what it says on the tin!

Sometimes not Dobbies in the beginning had lots of interesting things and ideas

Went to the cafe in cirencester for a toasties and drink. Took over 40 mins just to take my order to be told they are to busy to take any food orders. Service is utter crap. Avoid at all costs.
