Received call at 8:55 to say soft play/restaurant was closed due to electric issue but had already arrived at store.

I found the staff very friendly, helpful and informative.
The range of flowers, shrubs etc was excellent plus had some really good bargains

Lovely clean store well stocked and good online offers

Excellent attention to requirements at both Gosforth and ponteland

We have used Dobbies Garden Centres for a great number of years, Have always been able to find what we are looking for and always at a reasonable price. Quality is always perfect. Staff extremely helpful & friendly.

Had a lovely Latte then purchased a pack of Pansies

My husband and I ate in the restaurant, meals were good staff very friendly would definitely eat there again. Bought some bits and bobs the girl on the till was very helpful and also renewed my Dobbies card.

Polite and friendly staff + good quality food

I have been visiting the Gosforth Garden Centre for many years and find the staff friendly and helpful. Carl in particular has always been really helpful and I often ask him when I can re pot or prune certain plants, he advises on which plants can be planted where and which compost to use.
I noticed you had some pots which were reduced, the sun had faded the bar code and it was near impossible to read. Carl went to check the price, he came back and explained that he was trying to read the barcode, but in the meantime showed me which compost I needed, helped me with my large plant and trolley and along with Brian and a lovely girl on the checkout they eventually found the price. Carl took my items to the car and lifted them into the boot. I thought that on this occasion I would complete a review as people are very quick to grumble and complain but I really think that your team at Gosforth exceed my expectations which is why I always shop with you.

I visit regularly with or with out my grandchildren, the grandchildren always have to stop and pat Marmaduke and pop some money in his pot.
They always enjoy the soft play.
While I enjoy a cup of tea and sometimes a cheeky scone.

Visited Dobbies Gosforth with our grandson again yesterday for lunch. We visit regularly and use the softplay area. The cafe was quiet for 2pm and most people were just having coffee. Our 2 main meals,scampi and chicken leek pie were cold especially the chips. I should have said to the staff, they are always excellent however our grandsons meal was hot and he was hungry. Won't return for a while as last 2 visits haven't met Dobbies usual high standards.

Food took over half an hour to arrive. Drinks where cold by the time food arrived. Food was ok when it arrived.

We enjoyed our experience at Dobbies and our 1 year old granddaughter enjoyed the soft play. It was a lovely coffee too as coffee can vary sometimes.

As usual, friendly staff and great service in the cafe and the plant centre. Easy parking in convenient disabled bay.

Once again the staff were helpful in placing heavy bags in boot of car.

They never answer any phone calls so frustrating for a garden centre. How can we support small centres when customer service isn't there? Went to b&q and got what I needed. This is a well needed service for our community especially meeting place for elderly and family Dobbies do something about this please thanks.

Bought fantastic hanging basket on special offer about 2-3 weeks ago.

We visited the garden centre restaurant for drinks and cakes. We had to stand in the long queue behind people ordering food etc. A long time ago if you just wanted drinks there was another counter at which to get them. However it took nearly 20 minutes to be served as only one staff doing food and one doing drinks. This isn't the only time we've been stuck like this. Never go if you're in a hurry.

The staff in the cafeteria were very helpful and plants for sale were beautiful.
