Booked same day appointment online for blocked toilet and sink and plumber David arrived around lunchtime. Fantastic plumber, very thorough, friendly and helpful, talked me through what he was doing and why and gave me helpful information for aftercare. Will definitely be using again for any plumbing problems.

Major blockage cleared expertly
All grids blocked, sewage coming up...operative found manhole and cleared blockage. All done professionally, and all completed within an hour and 30 mins.

Drains - very good service
Phoned yesterday morning and they came this morning. Local office very helpful when making sure it was the morning and not the afternoon. David was very friendly, approachable and explained to us fully what had happened with the drain. He then sorted it for us. Definitely recommend.

Great service
I called Dyno-Rod out today for a blocked waste pipe and they came really quickly, went above and beyond to sort the problem, explaining everything as they did it (even let me see the waste in the waste pipe via special camera. Gross, but oddly interesting!). Would defo recommend.

Avoid Dynarod
I have a contract with British Gas and needed a tap replacement. Dynorod fitted the tap having told me it cost £250. I assumed at that price we were getting one similar to the replacement. While it was being fitted I checked the price online and it ranged from £75- £95. I questioned this and they reduced it to £170 and I said it was still over the top and would take it up with British Gas. They just said go ahead. Having took it up with British gas they basically said well you agreed the Price. I felt obliged to pay because the engineer had done the work.
I said I would give them an opportunity to put this right before putting a review on Trust Pilot which didn't have any effect. I've had to accept their decision but At renewal time I will cancel the Plumbing contract. For the record, two out of three British gas contract staff told me they would sort it out but the 3rd was less supportive. Having been a customer since 1981 I can no longer put my trust in them.
P s. Thank you for getting in touch. I have sent all the details to British gas who have filed a complaint which will be passed on to yourselves for you to investigate the complaint.

Dyno Rod attended on the 14th April…
Dyno Rod attended on the 14th April 2025 via my contract with British Gas, I was quickly sent a repair quote via email for £1650 plus VAT. I was advised until the work was booked in the waste pipe from my toilet would be left unattached. I paid £999 deposit for the work to be booked and Dyno Rod attended again to carry out the work on the 4th June 2025. Within a short time I was called and emailed by Dyno Rod to say that work would now cost £3250 plus vat. If I wasn't able to pay for the work the team would leave. I called my insurance company who asked if a survey had been done and also CCTV footage of the drains. I explained this hasn't happened and they advised letting the team leave. Dyno Rod have now charged £500 for the second visit despite no work being carried out on the property other than a recommendation for a survey etc. I have been advised that leaving a waste pipe unattached is illegal and I still have waste on my property. I trusted this company and have been badly let down.

Thank you for making contact i have reviewed the email conversation and confirm that advice was given when the first engineer was on site with regards to the severity of the issue and the need for this work to be done, sadly due to the nature of the repairs this was not covered under your existing home care agreement, we did advise and a alternative private quote was offered to you on the day. i can confirm that the issue was only left as per your instruction due to your means of paying for the repairs wasn't yet decided, we do apologise for any inconvenience, however had you given instruction immediately the repairs could have been completed that day, the engineer attended on the 14/04/25 and a cost was provided to you immediately whilst the engineer remained on site, we had no correspondence from yourself until the 01/5/25 which was when instruction was given by yourself to proceed. We can only apologise you feel let down however we did attempt to offer a resolution to you immediately, we understand repairs can result in unwanted and unexpected costs which we sadly cant help. We can only apologise that you had this experience and you didn't wish to proceed further with the repairs needed we do wish you the best with getting the repair resolved.
