Food poisoning at Whipps Cross…m
Food poisoning at Whipps Cross University Hospital. It has an official Zero star food hygiene rating!
Very low food hygiene rating
Having eaten at one of your business involvements, I have some issues as to your clarity re: catering and hospitality purpose and values, as such the actual delivery on hygiene standards of Whipps cross Hospital, which from experiencing it, falls well below any customers expectations, in short it is well below acceptable, please look into this and action the areas of such concerns and reply as and when they have been rectified, thank you you in advance and i look forward to the audit and feedback supplied by you. I reserve any right of reply to justify my experience and await yours.
Less than 1 if I could
Want to give Less than 1
Have reviewed before no better after residents here have had meeting with Elior staff...
Food still running out of choice too early open at 12 and some menu choice gone by 12.30 it used to serve until 14hrs.
It now stop serving lunch at 13.45
Portion control has to be believed for price and quality.
Be aware part of menu card is only avaiable Mon,Tuesday and Wednesday...Thursday its carvery or only light bites same Friday its fish or light bites
Saturday its fish pie (grey pie) and light diet only.
Light diet is sandwich, jacket spud or omelette.
Puddings well small serving really small high price. I asked the weight of the pudding for calories it weighed 2.7ounces ...okay and that's the usual not a one off...that hot pudding of the day 2.7 ounces
As bad as salad garnish 2 slices of thin tomoto 2 slices cucumber and lettuce.
Feel sorry for the hard working girls behind the counter its not their fault...elior are out to make a profit..at the captive residents who have no choice to eat here some cannot get out or cook for themselves.
Today had salad a supposed salad well minimal lettuce 2 slices of tomoto 2slices cucumber carrot radish and two slices of ham. Served in a bowl great if you csn use both hands. (Partner cannot)
Don't try eating with a stroke or illness where you only have 1 hand staff told me they were told to use a bowl for salad.
Honestly it's not worth £6.25 ,it's not more yhan a £3.30 side salad
Expensive
Expensive, low quality and inefficient. Used at my son's university and they're a discrace
Fab Food
I attended a meeting at Daisy Hill, Kelly was welcoming as always and a big shout out to Chef and his staff the food was fabulous.
Great Buffet
I recently attended a meeting at Daisy Hill Court and we were provided lunch by Ivo Fernandes and the catering team, who had prepared a wonderful spread for us, to enjoy.
The brownies were amazing!
Thank you.
Superb Food
Elior provided the catering at a recent event I attended at Daisy Hill Court. The food was amazing. Loved the lemon tart. Thank you Ivo Fernandes @ Daisy Hill Court
Attended a team meeting at Daisy Hill
Attended a team meeting at Daisy Hill, Eaton, yesterday. A big shout out to Ivo Fernandes and his team. My first experience of food served at a McCarthy & Stone RLP development and was very impressed indeed. Super filled sandwiches, sausage rolls were amazing and the lemon tart - just the best. Thank you guys.
We had a buffet made by Ivo Fernandes…
We had a buffet made by Ivo Fernandes the chef at Daisy Hill Court yesterday, it was fantastic. Lovely choice of sandwiches etc and fresh fruit kebabs. Everyone enjoyed it.
Have the misfortune of having elior…
Have the misfortune of having elior take over catering where I live.
Food poor quality
Often cold
Over priced and serving size questionable. You can eat and go away hunger.
The garnish on a sandwich described as salad is 2slices of see through tomato and 3 slices of cucumber if your lucky and the lettuce is making up the salad.
They don't do a proper salad of any choice...example just would like a ham salad or pork pie salad.
The meals cooked often run out before end of service. Run out of meat at 12.20 and dinner is served until 14hrs.
Breakfast is £1 an item to 1 egg £ 1 rasher bacon £1 etc
They run out of eggs.
Even once ran out of milk at 15hrs when coffee shop open until 16hrs.
Poor cake choice and never changes.
What's really ridiculous is we have to ask for salf pepper or vinegar and sauces they are withheld from residents.
Residents live here get same cakes daily.
Don't cater for diabetics or gluten intolerance.
Have over priced chocolates on sale.
Some residents cannot get out to eat else where and have no choice.
Fantastic Food And Staff
I live at Mccarthy Stone Llanthony Place Gloucester. I eat every day in our fantastic Bistro, managed by Richard and Gemma. The food choice is excellent, and the service from the two Julies, and the rest of the team is always first class.. In these days of somewhat indifference regarding the importance of customer service they make my lunchtimes a delight.
If I could 0 star I would
If I could 0 star I would, 27 hours is “allowed” to work through with 45 mins sleep within the stadium. And still take off breaks you’ve not had, I have worked many sites for this company and the only decent ones are up in Scotland. It’s a sh!tshow.
Bad service
Really bad service I was in manor hospital emergency ward made 3 transactions they all gone cancelled and payment still in pending since last week
Elior Whipps cross hospital is Horrible!
Note: Review is for Elior Whipps cross hospital. I would have given this branch a -1000 if possible. Price is so high it do not give justice to the food quality and quantity of servings. Everyday menu is chicken, different name of the food but same old taste. Not worth every penny! They serve there costumers as if you are in a prison, stuck everthing on top of another. Overall, Horrible foods, hygiene, price and staff attitude!!
I worked casual work 8 and half hours…
I worked casual work 8 and half hours no contract no break and didn't even get paid.
Totally disgusting company so if you get job and it is casual no contract work do not do it.
I have tried last few weeks to get my days wages from Elior with no joy kept fobbing me off making excuses they have no interest in paying me nothing I can do except tell others about this company.
Update finally got paid after like 9 weeks if I didn't keep complaining constantly I don't think I'd got anything happy to get paid.
Anyone else in same situation keep at them until they pay you.
Went to 618 lounge at Leeds Bradford…
Went to 618 lounge at Leeds Bradford airport.
just want to say how bad the 618 lounge is shocking.apart from the lovely lady behind the bar who was brilliant the whole experience was a waste of money. The staff are walking round in dirty trainers and the no customer service skills whatsoever. The food was all cold and when I asked for the sausage butty was told they are for Avro lounge next door. The guy I complained too then spent next twenty minutes with a food thermometer confirming the food was cold but never apologised just said I will check the temperature with the chef. Come on a child could tell the food was cold. They are preparing butties with no gloves on while wiping his hands on his backside. Not sure what food standard that would get pretty sure not what you were expecting. There were no tongs to pick up cheese as we had to settle for cheese and out of date biscuits to eat not very hygienic. As for the toilets I think someone had had an upset tummy as they were a disgrace I had to go back into the main area to use main toilets not the experience I was promised. I wanted to make a review but guessing the 404 error I was getting was to close down any further negative comments. I expect a full refund for my poor experience and an acknowledgment of my complaint but suspect you will do nothing like they did here today.
This used to be a great service with…
This used to be a great service with great staff. Now, what are you going to do about the disgraceful situation at Nightingale Lodge in Romsey? When are you going to act responsibly and when are you going to even start to resolve the problems? After three months, we still know nothing. We have no permanent chef, sometimes no chef at all, one inadequate server, revolting penny-pinching food, with which even a very good chef would struggle to make palatable.
There is a chef who would be happy to take on a full-time position but you can't decide on an acceptable pay rate, nor have you even started to advertise the vacancy yet, as is legally required... after three months?
The staff member who came yesterday was completely incompetent. She lied many times in the name of ELIOR and, when caught out 10 minutes into the meeting, she stormed off. She had the wrong personality for the role, shouting over people, then shouting loudly in the kitchen after she stormed off, before driving away without a word. It is absurd to be telling residents all about bizarre future summer menus, refusing to answer more relevant questions, when there is no chef and no other staff in the kitchen. Two candidates for dining room staff have been messed about; one interview never took place and the other very nice young man was given confusing information, no time, a vague place, he had taken time off from college twice and paid bus fares, all for nothing, though he should be respected for his determination. I wouldn't even want to work for a company who behaved in such an unprofessional way.
The bottom line is that we want to know what ELIOR is planning to actually DO? We are in despair. I have personally had to see my GP twice due to weight loss. How do we explain that the catering company in a retirement development is failing to meet even the basic terms of their contract?
Poor food terrible cooks
Poor food terrible cooks. I don't eat at airbus anymore the food is disgusting really. And putting food on plates with bare hands is just wrong. They don't serve anything that id call food. I wish I could add pictures of it. Absolutely shocking.
Worked with Elior for a few years
Worked with Elior for a few years. Basically worked three job roles to help where I could. To go on to maternity to have my baby, to have my job role taken away from me and be demoted. So if you want to have a baby and work at Elior, don’t. They also do not pay hard working staff when promised, this issue can take weeks to sort out. They act like no one else has bills to pay. Absolutely unfair. They act clueless. Do not bother, the company does not know its finger from its ass.
I live in an Anchor apartment
I live in an Anchor apartment, who have the misfortune of having elior as our caterers. The residents are disgusted by the questionable cook they placed here months ago. I have spoke to Russel about the cook being dirty and not able to make the simplest of food the teacloth left on the counter one day was disgustingly dirty. Russell's reply was they were going to buy the cook a new uniform. This is not the answer as the residents refuse to eat there, we were promised hot food on signing up. The people who live here are not in the best of health so need healthy nourishing food daily. Also the kitchen is open just 2.5 hours Mon to Fri. We have a 5 star food hiegene sticker on the front door. I wonder if environment health would even be kind enough to give it a 1rating. What is wrong with you elior? If you cannot produce a decent cook and food then it's time for you to leave here. All that matters to elior is profit. The residents pay for the café and any food consumed so elior it's time to put this right before further action is taken
