Falsely adverted in their site and packaging that their products worked with Nest, but they don’t! I know it’s because Google changed the way it worked, but they need to remove this claim.

Idea behind the product is great, but the product itself (radio controlled 4 socket multiplug), a bit less. I needed new one because old one's 3 out of 4 plugs stopped responding to the remote. I've been using it for over a year - not much, but ok, maybe less sturdy piece. I liked the product general concept, so I got 2 new ones, 1 for replacement, other in case I need it somewhere else. Now I'm using the second new one as a replacement for the first new one... The first of new ones lost responsiveness on one of the sockets, after just few weeks of use.

The remote controlled power sockets may be a little more expensive than some brands but they are rated at 13A and are very easy to set-up and use. The 'master' buttons for switching all sockets on or off are very useful.

Still have not received goods yet, delivery too long

Simple to set up ingenious device!Reassuring to know appliances are safely switched off whilst saving a few pence in the process!

Energenie - WiFi plug.
Before I begin my review, my top tip is to plan what you want to achieve out of your connected home and why. It's a big commitment and not cheap to buy an automated set-up and you dont want the company to vanish. I built my system up over 24 month and that's why I chose Energenie. They have an array of products that meet be those who are technically engaged and those who just want it to 'do what it says on the box'.
Energenie are always looking to improve and move forward. Their customer service is responsive, so great if you are struggling or have a suggestion. This latest Wifi plug is a leap ahead of others bulky offerings, which means a double socket is still a "double socket". What do I mean? You'll understand if you choose a different brand !!! Energenie wifi plugs are small and do a great job. Trust me.

I'm a electrician installed at a third party address easy install need 35mm back box's ( light switch) two way switches need to have feed and switch line at master switch. Have yet to see lights go on and off indpendently as others have reported

Great Product. Arrived in good time

The timer works well but the selection of the time duration is unmarked and not described in the instructions. To select half an hour the indicator is placed in the top position, to select one hour move the indicator one click down, for three hours two clicks down and for eight hours four clicks down.

Constant glitches! on my 5th Gateway (they may send for free but I am bored of trying with them). I made an effort to contact the technical director through Linked in as I thought I would give him a chance to defend his shoddy products before I went public but clearly doesn't care as no response!

A few initial teething problems but swiftly sorted out A good service would use again.

This is my third gang. I've found they work great for a period, then they don't switch off automatically. You hear the clunk sound but the gang stays on. I've later found that if you bang / thump the unit it seems to work again.
The concept is brilliant, it just needs a tweak guys! All three gangs have experienced the same issue which were purchased approx a year apart.
No response from tech support.
I don't think I can justify buying another.

Took over a week for a faulty device to be replaced

Placed an order on the 1st July one week later no sign of order despite order confirmation advising product would be shipped next day (1-5 day deliver time)

Chased Order and was advised it hadn't shipped until 8th July

Disappointing delivery/service, product itself is brilliant

These are the best products for turning appliances on/off. It's a shame they changed the battery on the handset,when the battery runs out I have always had to replace the handset as its impossible to replace the battery.
