Absolute garbage do not buy will work onece then never again. Gateway looses pairing and relies on Ni Home website to work,.. Website is off line more than on so basically the whole system is totally useless

I have used Energenie remote controlled sockets for years. Now that my mobility is severely reduced thanks to multiple sclerosis, remote controlles are a great help but many RF just don’t do what they should. Energenie however really do and recently I had cause to contact the Company because I had a problem with one button on a remote handset. The help was very quick and so good, so that is another reason for buying this product.

The point if failure on these seems to be the plastic collars attsched to the rad heads. 28 or 30 arent clearly marked and the practice insertion of the tabs insufficiently clear. I have two which niw have worn out threads on the colars and two with tabs inserted which required me chanical extraction. The ones which were put on right first time are fine but the mistakes have irreparable damage it appears.

item ordered did not work. remote control dead. No response to email requesting replacement during next working day. Would give zero star if possible as item DOES NOT WORK.

EDIT after replacement device supplied: The request to review was sent too soon to allow delivery, testing and assessment of the product. Want a review: give a little time for the customer to use it or for the company to resolve any issues, don't send request to review almost before the goods have arrived!

Very easy to find the product I needed.
The only hickup was paying and probably not Energenie's fault. When finalising debit card payment the system (whose I do not know) froze.
I emailed farah and not only did she ring me she confirmed by email.

Initial problems with payment on their website - so I contacted the company.

As expected, they were very attentive and helpful. Details taken, and a call back within 15vminutes to confirm that my order had gone through and was being processed. A pleasant sincere apology for the problem, and delivery as promised three days later.

Can you ask for more?

The Energenie system would be fantastic, but it seems to interfere with other wireless devices. The result is that some sockets switch randomly on/off, and some other devices can be affected by the energenie system.

They work out of the box and are configured simply. I am using one to auto shutdown a 3d printer after a print job finishes - using octoprint on a raspberry pi.

I love the energenie pi hat to control the remote sockets, works a treat.

After searching online I was pleasantly surprised when I found a British made product direct from the manufacturers. If you are proud of British manufacturing look no further. Products will only get better and most of the money stays at home.
Saying that, I bought this for a friend and they reported that it needed a battery that wasn't supplied. I don't remember seeing a "batteries not supplied" warning so maybe that should be added to the website.

Quick delivery of part ordered. Had no need to contact them so cannot comment on CS etc. Installation of MIHO043 master/slave light switches OK. Wiring not exactly as the included leaflet but so long as you understand your wiring and are comfortable with electrics should not be an issue but do bring an electrician in if you're not sure. Bought a 1-gang 10mm spacer from Screwfix (5782J) to aid installation.

Took them 3 days to tell me they didn't have any stock of the item I had ordered.

Made the order: WEB0006254-5986, did not receive a confirmation email. Sent a query to otadd at powerconnections.co.uk but no reply, have sent reminder.

Was expecting communication to AliExpress standard!

Sold all my lightwave to buy this, much better, needs a few more items like a triple light switch and a few more triggers/timers for example open/close to have time of day options

Excellent products. We are currently trying different parts of the MiHome range in combination with Alexa to convert to a smart home. So far tried a double socket, 2 way dimmer, normal light switch, motion sensor and electric monitor. Response time is excellent. Missed out on 5 stars because every now and then our dinning room light randomly turns on (not sure if this is a result of minor power surges) and I have recently had problems with the slave switch for the 2 way dimmer, limited wiring options means you must have an existing 3 core strap line running to your slave switch where as out 1990 install has a 2 core strap with the switches live running from the slave socket back to the light live connection removing the need for a 3 core strap. This means I can’t use the slave switch unless I re-wire. Waiting on energenie customer services to come back with a solution. If all goes well should be moving onto the heating products soon and kitting our the rest of the house with smart gear!

Not sure if I'm reviewing the company or the product here but usually the first bit is the company so on that basis... Products are well described although sometimes it takes a bit of searching on the web site to find them. For example, if you want a pack of four individually radio-controlled socket adapters you'll find them under eco-electrical products along with a range of 4 (and more)-way extension leads. But if you want a radio-controlled 4-way extension lead then you'll need to look in a different section of the product listing. Marks down for that. But once you've found what you want, ordering is easy and delivery is fast and free.
