Enjoy the classes
Enjoy the classes, whilst they book up fast its still manageable to book some classes and I've had some friendly gym members also correct me on needing to adjust the cycle during one of my classes which I was glad for

Great gym that is always tidy and barely ever have to wait for a machine or weights. I feel really comfortable here and it is local, which is great!

Really good local gym
I’ve been a member pretty much since day one and I love this gym. The staff are friendly and engaging, but not overbearing, and the equipment is good. The atmosphere is also really good, no arrogant or intimidating people, just friendly people who would help when asked, or give you encouragement. Would definitely recommend.

Warm and welcoming gym
I’ve been a member since day one and I have to say that is by far the best gym I’ve ever joined. It is very welcoming and inclusive. The staff are super friendly and engaging but also pushes you to go the extra mile. There is no arrogant gym goers just friendly people that has now become my friends.

Rachaels strong class on a Fri morning at Hampton Hill is fab. She looks after you and patiently ensures you are doing everything correctly. I always feel supported and I think I'm getting stronger!

Rachel's Strong class is the bomb!
Love all the classes here, but Rachel's Strong class is the absolute bomb. I'm in my mid 50s and hardly an example of peek fitness, but I never feel intimidated and always walk away feeling like I've worked hard and learned a lot. The atmosphere is fun and encouraging for all levels. Friendly staff. What more could you want.

I attend the gym 5 days each week
I attend the gym 5 days each week. The equipment is sufficient for my needs but not excessive. The staff are welcoming and very pleasant. There is not enough involvement by the staff in the gym itself and many new members don’t know how to best use the equipment and even seasoned gym goers fall into bad habits and need guidance and encouragement. But I like the gym and feel comfortable there.

Thank you very much for your review and we're glad to hear you find the staff and gym welcoming and comfortable. Staff are always on hand to help members, we offer every single member an induction and a complimentary programme. Members know they can ask us for guidance at any point if they are unsure and members do come and ask us for help when needed. When we see incorrect form, we always correct it. However, we cannot follow each member around and watch their workouts each time. We also have QR codes on each machine that have wording below to say scan to be taken through to a video demo on how to use that exact machine. If you feel you ever need any help with any of your workouts, please do just ask one of us, we are always happy to help :)
Honest Review and Breakdown of Hampton Gym
I have been to many commercial gyms and have never really felt a sense of community. Energie Fitness stands out and is greatly due to its staff, always welcoming and easy to converse with and good quality gym equipment.
Rachel is the general manager at the gym and was the first member of staff I met and after she explained how the gym works I was sold and joined that very day.
Equipment 4/5
Weights section
The gym contains the essentials required to achieve your dream physique.
2 squat racks/ 1 smith machine/ 2 Bench press / 2 leg press machine/ 1 lat pull down/ multiple cables for targeting multiple muscle groups/ dumbells going up to 50kg/ 5 benches
Gym could benefit from more squat racks as can get full during rush hours. Otherwise the equipment is well kept and clean and cleaning wipes readily available to encourage hygiene.
Furthermore has weight machines to target exercises outside the compound lifts.
Functional training area
Spanning approximately 5-8 meters, allows one to use the following: Jump boxes, boxing bags, dumbbells, kettle bells/ perform dynamic stretches before your workout and participate in classes from our fabulous coaches.
Cardio
Has multiple treadmills, one stair master and bicycles to push your cardiovascular health and improve one's endurance.
Aesthetics of gym 4/5
Has good lighting, good quality equipment and has a mirror near the changing room to take your all inspiring gym photos.
Extra perks
Offers NHS discounts for our lovely healthcare workers.
Overall the gym is a lovely environment and the staff from Rachel, Mia and the mascot are all lovely.
Highly recommend that if you're local that you join.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the equipment, just to let you know we also have rowing machines, cross trainers and elliptical trainers to add to the cardio list and we have TRXs in the Yard too (the functional training area)! We will certainly take your suggestions into consideration as we continue to improve our facilities. We are committed to providing our members with the best possible experience and we value your input in helping us achieve that goal.
Decent little gym
Decent little gym, usually enough choice of machines and weights, but do avoid peak times in the morning and evening if you can’t wait around for kit!

Very pleasant gym
The gym has a very nice atmosphere, a good range of equipment which is all in good condition. Generally it isn't too busy and the changing facilities are clean.

Great little gym, friendly community
Great little gym. Staff are approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Equipment is in good condition and a healthy variety that can cover all body parts. Since moving to this gym my training has been the most consistent, I always want to turn up, so that must mean something.

A great way to start your fitness journey
Generally speaking the gym has a great atmosphere, it's always well kept and organised by the staff. Not to mention the staff are incredibly friendly and always happy to give you a hand should you need it.
Sure £40 a month might be a bit more than other competitors but for the quality and atleast for me location if the gym, it's well worth a try

The staff are so nice and welcoming
The staff are so nice and welcoming, the equipment is always in the right place and the weights are ordered in a clear way. The music is also really good and isn’t ever really the same. The gym is always really clean and organised.
