Ernest Jones - Watford Opiniones 

Celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary in April 2026, I was looking for a specific type of watch which I found at the Watford branch of Ernest Jones. I was happy to find the price discounted and returned a few days later to purchase it. I could not have received better customer care from Chloe Roxy, and her team, who went beyond the call of duty to make this important and significant purchase a memorably pleasant one. I cherish both the watch and the experience of buying it! Well done!

I took my Rado watch into the Watford store for a new battery and a quote for a new clasp on 17th January. I was shocked when I got a text telling me that it would be ready for collection on 24th February. I didn’t expect it to take so long. Little did I know they would have it a total of 9 and half weeks. 7 and a half for the quote and a further two weeks to return it to store when I rejected their quote. This was only after three emails of which they only replied to one and three phone calls chasing. After all that the battery still needs replacing! If I’d been told in store when I took it in that the wait was so long for their own service centre, I would have sent it to Swatch directly myself, as I did during Covid when the Ernest Jones shop was shut. It came back in just two weeks despite what was going on in the world at that time!

I experienced extremely poor and unprofessional service in store. The sales assistant was unwilling to serve me and instead focused her attention on another man, purely to see what he was buying, despite the fact she was not serving him.

I asked to see a bracelet and was repeatedly ignored. After asking three times, it became obvious that she had no intention of helping me or making a sale. I eventually stated that she clearly didn’t want my business and left the store.

This behaviour was dismissive and unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way, and I expect far better from a retailer of this size. I will not be returning.

Wanted to try the watch on first so tried to find it in a store. Called a local store who advised me that they didn’t stock it but gave me a list of stores that did. Tried to call a store but phone rung out 4 times then said the number was wrong? Checked the website and shopping centre website to confirm that the number was correct and it was. Drove 40mins and they didn’t have the watch even though they were showing on the system that they had it? Incredibly frustrating as if someone had answered the phone then I wouldn’t have wasted my time driving to the store. I didn’t order in the store as I didn’t felt like it made a difference if I spent my money in store or online so I placed the order online. Got a 10% off voucher for registering online but surprise surprise my purchase wasn’t included in the discount 🙄 so yeah ordered the watch with you guys because you had it not because of the service, thanks

I purchased a diamond ring and lady took my finger measurements,
I got a call to come and pick up my item. When I collected the item I wasn't very happy as it was loose and declined to collect.
This female assured me try for 30 days and if still problem persists we will honour under 30 day warranty.
So when I went back I was told it has been excessively worn so can't change it to your size.
Did I buy this to keep it in draw as price of £1000???
Similar issued i had with them on Rado watch as it went for services and was list in transit.
Bad shop to do bussiness with as they don't even entertain their guarantee?????

Visited the branch in Watford, it was the best experience I’ve ever had. Malka was just great. Her knowledge on watches was amazing. She helped making the gift a lot more special! I can’t thank her enough😊

My husband was looking for a new wedding band but unsure of design or size. Roxy was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she helped us find what we were looking for and have since ordered it so thank you very much!

Have always found Ernest Jones to be a great company to purchase from, it's my go to for my wife, from our engagement rings, wedding rings and any Christmas, birthday or just, an I love you day gift.

Having been to New York with my partner & getting proposed to with a gorgeous ring from Ernest Jones jewellers, it was a little disappointing that the beautiful ring was too big, but on our return we went straight back to the store & could not have been more looked after by the staff. Hifsa & Chloe could not have been more helpful, & within 2 days my beautiful ring was back on my finger with the correct size, the attention to detail & the way we were looked after in the store was wonderful, thank you again Hifsa & Chloe & Ernest Jones Jewellers would definitely recommend 😄

Four years ago my fiancé got my engagement ring from Ernest Jones, on the very first day of wearing it after literally just reaching in my bag the metal got scratched meaning that we had to take the ring into to be repaired. Two years later the stone fell out and one of the claws was completely broken we took it back to Ernest Jones and they said I must have damaged the ring but they would repair it at a cost of £250. We got the ring repaired but now 2 years later and a week before our wedding the claw has broken again, we took it into the shop they said they can’t see anything wrong with it at all- I can see the snapped claw clearly without looking through any lens- he also accused me of lying saying there’s no way it’s broken. I then took it to a specialist jeweller to see if they could fix it unfortunately he has said he is unable to fix it as the ring is faulty the mount is incorrect and the claws do not fit around the diamond and due to this fault the diamond has been cracked. I’m a mum and a teaching assistant I do not work in a labour intensive environment the ring has not take n lots of knocks it is just badly made.
We are obviously devastated by this engagements ring are supposed to last a lifetime not break every 2 years.

A visit to Watford EJ this Tuesday for the special Click&Collection of my son’s birthday/ graduation watch ended in disappointment…. Someone had mistakenly picked the wrong watch although the item numbers differed by one digit. But that’s only the start … I was asked to take a refund or, at my risk, to take the incorrect watch to Brent X store and swap them. I told the SA I would also lose the Quidco £30 cash back. My problem. Unacceptable. Never heard of this and totally non customer centric. Their problem would become my problem. Sales assistant was lovely but the Watford store mgr took no interest, not even to apologise for the error though she was standing alongside us. We decided to buy the watch elsewhere and still waiting for EJ refund. It helps to show regret and am disappointed EJ let us down on this aspect as well.

Delivered on time, excellent after sales service, no problem with altering the wristband strap

The sales assistant, Narlia, was absolutely charming and very helpful - it was good to be able to have the earrings I chose wrapped so that my grand-daughter could see them but they could still be returned if they were not to her taste. I was looking for a very particular "knot" design and Ernest Jones was the first and last place I looked because they had exactly the right ones!!

I had a great experience here. I felt that I received the same quality of service buying a £150 watch as if it were £1000. The salesman really should interest and was happy to help. I will definitely be visiting again.
