the engineer left with out saying anything. they had fitted a pay as you go meter. i called them they told me on the phone i had called them to subscribe i reminded the lady on phone they say they record calls all of a sudden she told me there would be no switching company charge they also did not put a batterie in there payment box thing so leki went off i lost a full freezer of food, they also left so fast no one explained how to use the thing they had not put a batterie in the box. i presumed they where something to do with the housing association. i was literally Cond. what do i do about it .

EvoEnergy installed solar panels at my property in 2010. I am now selling my property and need an MCS certificate to verify that the installation is structurally sound. It was EvoEnergy's responsibility to send this certificate within ten days of the installation being completed - they did not. I have emailed the company three times to request assistance and have only received computer generated responses saying they will contact me within two days - they have not. It is clear that they do not care about their previous clients and are not interested in providing any sort of customer service - even to address their own failings. What a grubby company this has become.
EvoEnergy's reply is untrue. In 2010 they were installing in domestic properties and they did install my solar panels. I know which company installed my panels. Everything I stated above is correct and EvoEnergy's reply does them no credit. They let me down and now they are trying to pretend they never installed in domestic properties which is not true. When they were a young and growing company they were happy to take my money but now they have become a wealthy and powerful company they are trying to intimidate a customer because they could not be bothered to help when asked. Pathetic.
I have no idea why they refer to repeated calls or door to door door selling. There is no reference to anything like that in my original review. Perhaps they have become even more incompetent than I first thought.

Don’t touch with a barge pole. Knocked on door re quote, half way through taking our details said both of us had to be present when quote done. I said no, forget it, as we’d already had a price quoted from local co & I hate that attitude, & to remove number. Since then had half dozen calls trying to quote & they will not remove our number. Blocked calls but next time it’s just a different one. Evo, why do you think harassment works as a way to sell? I wouldn’t touch you now if you were the last supplier available.

Re evo energy reply to me - nowhere did I say anything about domestic energy supplier. I do know the difference between OVO and Evo. We were after a quote for solar panels and battery storage, and the info I was given was from Evoenergy. On that basis I stand by my review. To the best of my knowledge this review is relevant to your business or at the very least the domestic arm of your business.

One time I was told to send an email with a photo of the bill , the other time they're telling me to do it again. This company clearly doesn't have a good system or lazy workers that can't update customers files.

The whole experience has been a joy from start to finish: a team of the loveliest people one could ever meet who I now consider honorary members of my family welcome to drop in for a cuppa and a chat any time. Real people warm and human. Excellent communication skills - all my concerns were addressed and the bespoke design fully met my needs. Beautiful product, really ingenious. Superfast workers - blink and you'd miss them - installation 2 days. I went out for an hour or so to let them get on with it when they arrived and was amazed that 4 sets of new windows were in place on my return. And one of the guys came up with an ingenious solution to replace my interior window ledge with a run of shelving. These people really know what they are doing. And talk about "going the extra mile" one drives down from Norfolk !!! I cannot praise them highly enough. There are a couple of tiny things to address, but nothing I cannot handle and nothing in comparison to the superb job they have done. Absolutely the best. Infinitely grateful.

It was still under guarantee (parts not labour - £162 to pay) and EvoEnergy explained that they no longer fit individual households but when their team was in the area ours could be replaced. The other option was they were getting a local company to do it sooner. After about a month they gave us three days warning that someone would come but we were on holiday and just manged to cancel it in time. The months went by and we have had another date, but they cancelled at short notice. The last contact from them was two weeks ago, they said they are having difficulty finding someone local to do it
It is clear that individuals (not companies) are no longer their customer base and we seem to have been neglected. It is always disappointing when a company does the upfront fitting but when there is a problem under guarantee leaves you high and dry.
New Year’s Eve. Just had an electrical fire on the generating side of our PV system Got through to an Evo Energy engineer who talked through the firemen on making it safe. They were full of praise and so am I. Especially as we don’t even hold a service contract with them! We were trying to reach Evo Energy Solutions, got an ansaphone and my wife found a ‘different number’ on line! It appears we probably have a contract with a scam company. I wish it was with Evo Energy. Superb!!!
An ever helpful OM-Senior Sales Manager at the company, Alison Henshaw sorted out everything regarding a recent leak through broken tiles under the solar panels evoenergy fitted on our roof in 2012. As the roofing engineers could not assess when the damage to the roof occurred the cost of repair was waived and we didn't have to pay anything, despite the warranty period of five years had expired long ago. We are very impressed with the professionalism of all the evoenergy personnel who dealt with our problem. Their responses have been courtious and swift. Our experience with our contacts with the Company Head Office in Nottingham has been excellent. There is always some one to speak to whenever we make a telephone call - no need to wait to be redirected to other departments as with so many companies (e.g. British Gas) these days. Also we are very impressed by prompt replies to our many email correspondence with Alison Henshaw.
EvoEnergy has let us down. We arranged for solar panels to be installed by another company who arranged for EvoEnergy to come on the same day to install the Smart meter and handle the disconnection/reconnection required for our solar panels to become operational. We received two official letters informing us of the date for work by EvoEnergy and our instructions on how to be ready for the days activities. On the day, the panels were installed in the morning but EvoEnergy had not arrived by 3pm. I called the supplied info number and spoke with a person who informed me that the crew would not be attending on that day, but had rescheduled for 2 weeks later. Our solar company complained on our behalf that this was an unreasonable delay. Our next contact from EvoEnergy was to inform us that due to a "glitch" we could not get our solar panels connected for another 3 months!!! Official complaints are in progress now, but even EvoEnergy's own complaint process won't see us with a resolution for 20 days. Our solar investment has been severely undermined by EvoEnergy and we will be looking to get our electricity costs repaid for the period we should have been generating our own.
Superb. They fitted the panels in Christmas 2014 and left.
In June 2016 the inverter failed (not their fault). Within two weeks, they had got the warranty replacement sorted and installed it.
If only every company was as good as Evo!
After months of rubbish customer service from one of the "Big 6" companies I took the plunge and changed supplier. Elected for online account so all administration and info is readily accessible and easy to understand and navigate. This company understands how to run a business and look after their customers, I give them 10 out of 10 all round and recommend them Highley.
Yes this review should have been for OVO Energy, but I'm sure EVO would be worthy of 5* if I used their services !

We had EvoEnergy install panels and system a few years back. A capacitor in the inverter failed (not EvoEnergy;s fault) in 2015 and EvoEnergy came along and replaced it speedily and at no cost under warranty. Very pleased with their service so far.
Evo were very professional in providing multiple options for our installation of 12 Sunpower 327 panels in August 2014. The installation was smooth and seamless as was the support for obtaining the feed in tariff.
I have now had chance to evaluate the first year's performance and find that we actually produced 3503 kwh against an estimate of 3225kwh. On the standard assumption of 50% own consumption, the system yield was 10.24% which I am delighted with.
The service was very good. Evo were responsive and did everything on time. They were tidy and polite and responded to some small requests after the sales.
They helped me with the FIT application.
I do not know how the solar panels are doing and how much energy they are producing. I am still not sure how to tell if things are not working right. We still have not had an electricity bill so I do not know financially were I stand.
My experience was very positive. Evoenergy were very good at answering my questions and the installation went smoothly.
The installation process was faultless, the solar panels were fitted without a problem and the connection to the power supply and registration onto the tariff went without a hitch. We had issues with the removal of the scaffolding, but even then EvoEnergy were very supportive and once advised, ensured the scaffolding was removed as soon as possible. An excellent service and I would recommend this company to anyone.
Not only were Evo Energy the cheapest quote for our solar panels, they were also honest. They didn't encourage us to buy things we didn't need, and even persuaded us not to buy things that weren't suitable, even though it would have made them money. They showed professionalism throughout, and the panels were installed as and when promised.
I felt that EVO Energy gave an excellent service from initial requirements, through the quotation process and again to final install and sign off. I had a named project manager and all appointments were kept. The panels are up and running well and all was completed before the rate reduction at the end of June. Aftercare was excellent and they assisted in the FIT application. Would highly recommend.
