Wow what can I say? Booked my car in for a new clutch based on reasonable price and good reviews.
My car caused quite a bit of grief with one problem and another causing it to take longer than anticipated, but still paid the original quoted price. Some places would have charged for the extra labour but not Simon and his team! Thank you, you will definitely be seeing me again!

Highly recommended F1 in Eastbourne. Every time I’ve been the guys have been really helpful and friendly but the main thing is they have been honest with the work that’s needed to be done on my car. As a young female I don’t feel like I’m being ripped off and made to get work done that isn’t needed. They have always explained the work to me in simple form so I understand and are very punctual with getting the work done on my car. I’ve had some terrible experiences in other garages who have taken the mick with getting work done and making me get work done that hasn’t needed to be done, and awful customer service! Just happy I’ve finally found a reliable garage! And the customer service is also great, so patient, caring and I don’t feel rushed. Thanks Eastbourne keep up the hard work!

Steve at Eastbourne was my absolute saviour yesterday. He and Toby were so helpful in sorting out a brake issue that developed after a 4 hour drive to Eastbourne for a weekend away. He de stressed me, explained the issue and got it sorted with no drama.

My friend and I had a very traumatic collision on the very last day of our very happy short vacation in Eastbourne. We were very upset about the accident and worried that the car would be unsafe to drive us back home to Hertfordshire as the bumper was lose and the front wing damaged. We called at Formula One on Kwik Fit’s suggestion, holding our breath… Steve’s compassionate and attentive care could not have been surpassed. He calmly looked at the damaged front of the car and simply told us to have a coffee and come back in half an hour. By that time, the car was ready, with a temporary but safe remedial, for us to drive safely back home.

I know that, if we lived in Eastbourne or nearby, we would definitely choose Formula One for all of our cars’ maintenance.

Went to Formula One by recommendation, for a new battery. Arrived at 3pm, battery was tested and found to be less than 1% efficient, new battery ordered. Returned 4.45pm battery fitted. Saw Steve, very professional, friendly. What more can you ask....

Great service and a better price than even the online retailers - the ones associated with a big green supermarket chain and the opposite to white squares! One of my alloys had pothole damage and they recommended somewhere to get it fixed and rebooked me a slot to fit my tyres when done. We should all support these local staffed private companies!!

Popped in this afternoon after being turned away from Kwik Fit ,the kind gentleman at Formula One was happy to fit me in and sort out the problem on the spot. A friendly and prompt service.

I use the Eastbourne garage on junction road for many years as I work opposite and they are always happy to help . I work in the community at times so rely on my car to work and they fit me in no matter how busy they are and the service is always of a high standard. Friendly and helpful service and would recommend taking your car here.

The gentleman with a Scottish accent who answered the phone at the Eastbourne branch was rude and supremely unhelpful. I'd just purchased the car and my wife was out in it so I didn't know the reg so he wouldn't book me in. When I asked how long he thought it would take to remedy a fault with a tyre he said 'wouldn't have a clue'. Basically he gave a master class in how to lose a customer. We went next door to Quick Fit who weren't rude and were courteous and efficient in both the booking in process and their estimation of how long the job would take.

Absolutely shocking customer services.
I never do reviews and I don't even think 1 star is worthy. From the get go the Eastbourne branch was a nightmare to deal with. My car was originally booked at the Polegate branch but unfortunately they had to cancel as they had no one to do my MOT. Couldn't fault the Polegate branch as they were very helpful, told me to transfer my booking to the Eastbourne branch which I did manage to do after 3 phone calls back & forth to them. I don't think the guy who I spoke to at Eastbourne was happy, believe his name was (Steve) as I booked my MOT online for Polegate & they had an online discount, and Eastbourne didn't do the same offer. I wasn't happy to pay for MOT again at the higher price as it had already been booked and then was changed at no fault of my own.
On the day of my MOT, I dropped my car off & when I picked it up, the unhappy guy who I had been speaking to on the phone had great pleasure in telling me my car failed. So I questioned why and what on and they seemed so smug about it, couldn't even give me a proper answer. I personally think because I am a woman they treat us differently to men. I wouldn't advise using this garage at all. The whole thing was shocking & was awful customer service.

I highly recommend F1 Auto centre Eastbourne for any vehicle issues. They are a very professional, experienced & fun team always eager to help and improve. It always take all the stress out my MOT knowing they will do a briliant job at at a fair price 👊
