2 hours to fit tyres??

2 hours - 10 minutes to fit 4 tyres. Workman assigned hopeless at changing tyres-and noone wanted to assist him- until 2 hourse expired and one operative deigned to assist him with a simple method to complete the fit. Noone cared as to how long I had been waiting. It seemed unimportant

As a customer i waited in a cold, and extremely dirty waiting room, with no coffee making facilities or toilets, whilst i listened to the phones ringing off the hook in an empty reception

Customer service values- it has none

Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service.

I booked online to have tyres fitted at the Leatherhead branch yesterday. When I arrived, despite having confirmation of my time slot, I was told they couldn’t carry out the work. There was no apology—just a rude response. They blamed issues between their computer systems and various online companies. Although they were clearly busy, I said I was happy to return the following day.

Today, I arrived 10 minutes late due to traffic. The branch was empty, yet the manager was once again extremely rude. He told me they were fully booked and, because I was late, I would need to reschedule for another time.

I’ve been using this branch for many years and, ironically, have often been kept waiting when they were running behind schedule. I’ve now cancelled my order and would strongly advise others to avoid this branch. The level of customer service and attitude was completely unacceptable.

They don't want your business

I've been to the Leatherhead garage twice now, the first time staff were stood outside smoking with an empty forecourt and told me they "were too busy". I visited them again yesterday to get four new tyres fitted and they told me the system was down and the manager was away. Same old story they just don't want to do any work while the other garages in the area are inundated with bookings.

The guys in Leatherhead were so…

The guys in Leatherhead were so diligent and helpful. I got the day wrong and they still managed to squeeze my car in. They really went above and beyond to help. The technician B Kizamba was particularly helpful and polite.

Disappointed and awful. Went in for 4 Pirelli tires having pre…

Went in for 4 Pirelli tires having pre booked an appointment . Work done outside in a muddy forecourt. They managed to do the front tires, the rear wheels they couldn’t remove as the locking wheel nuts were stripped. Take it away to a garage they said which i did. The garage said they had used an impact gun and stripped the lugs. They removed the rear ones and replaced with normal studs . The left front had been so over tightened and they couldn’t remove that so i have to take it back in January to have it cut off. Then back to Formula One for the rear tires to be fitted. Please use a torque wrench. Of course they said and then didn’t. The tires they fitted were dated August 2024 so some 18 months old. When i queried that they said it doesn’t matter. So why put a date on the tire? I wonder what Pirelli would say? On the way home it felt like I was driving on concrete. Checked the pressures, they were 45psi when they should be 36. So if you like being sold 18 month old tires, having your wheels damaged and going to a garage that doesn’t use a torque wrench or a tire pressure gauge then Formula One are for you . If not go elsewhere . I will in future.

Promised a follow up by customer…

Promised a follow up by customer service. Nothing has happened. Formula one tried to give us a car back with broken brakes which it was there to have fixed. And a flat tire they did not mention. The other car may have had uneccesary work done for allegedly seized brake calipers.

I went to get a new exhaust

I went to get a new exhaust on my Vauxhall astra and the car purrs like a kitten and not like a boy racer car any more . Kyle and Dennis at the leatherhead centre went above and beyond their positions and seriously folks these guys are the real deal and thank you folks .

Over 3 weeks and the Leatherhead…

Over 3 weeks and the Leatherhead location have STILL have not repaired the exhaust on my car! I'm giving up and I'll have the car towed elsewhere.

The price was reasonable

The price was reasonable, and the experience of booking a full service was also great. However, the actual service left a lot to be desired. The mileage was recorded incorrectly in the service book, and there was no report provided for the oil, filters, or, as stated on the website, a “Check and report Wheel Alignment or Geometry.” The guys who received and returned the car were pleasant to deal with.

Popped into the Leatherhead branch…

Popped into the Leatherhead branch today (Bank Holiday) for some advice and with a view to making an appointment, I had previously visited a very well known outlet to get my aircon regassed where the guy basically tied me up in knots with conflicting advice that it all needed specialist treatment and nothing he could do to help me.
So glad I went today and was met with the warmest reception by the two guys in the front office, explained my situation and they reassured me they would provide a free check and regas it there and then.
Professional, polite, courteous and price as stated - no hidden extras which as a lone female can often occur. 100% have no hesitation in recommending these guys at Leatherhead - Thankyou Formula One Leatherhead !!!!!

Don't book online!

Booked an MOT over 2 weeks ago online and paid the fee and received an email confirmation.The MOT was at 11.30am today. Yesterday at 17.50pm I missed a call from the Leatherhead branch where the MOT was booked. I phoned back at 17.55pm and the phone just rang and rang so I gave up and phoned again this morning at 8.30am and eventually got through to be told they haven't had an MOT tester for quite a while!!. So they have taken my booking and my money and had 2 weeks to notify me that they don't do MOTs at Leatherhead. My MOT expires tomorrow so I am going to be without the use of my car until I can rebook somewhere reputable. To say I am furious is an understatement

they lie through their teeth told me that my car failed on 3 tyres then tried to rip me off with the price got the tyres renewed took back for a re-test failed it again which they didn't mention on the phone also lame excuse not to Service the car as saying its showing a fault with the gearbox
supposed to be a garage what a joke
DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE

Cowboys garage - Avoid

Cowboys garage - Avoid. I ordered two F1 tires at their Leatherhead Surrey branch. For some reasons I got order confirmation of 1 Good year tire which I did not check. I reached before time & a rude staff came to us and did not respond to our greetings. I told him we have appointment at 12. He checked number plate and left. He asked me for keys. I gave him keys and asked how long will it take. He pointed two cars and said will take this next. So, I went for groceries. When I came back my both tires were removed (as I thought I ordered) but then the staff says he see in one system two tires and his job card only one tire so he will charge me for second tire so instead of £143 it was £286!! I asked him to put my old tire back so the staff said he will have to charge me for that. How Bizarre. They should have checked all this before working on my car. Left at no choice and car standing on one tire I paid for second tire. While we were having conversation I asked them to give keys to my wife so they asked if she can drive !! This is really low level of training or sensitisation/training from a company calling themselves family owned. Avoid these cowboys scammers. I did write to them same as above but the answer I got from 'customer service' was its not our mistake & staff training/sensitization is confidential. I'l have to take dispute route now.

Worse garage for service and technical I have ever come across

Worse garage I have ever come across. I bought two tyres Leatherhead depot and I couldn't fault them. The tyres were good quality and very well priced. The garage completed the work and I asked about a service. I was told it would be about £140. I said can we book it for Monday and I said I thought the from wheel bearing needed replacing. They called on Monday to say it did need a wheel bearing, as well as 2 new rear tyres (they were apparently degraded on the inside), a brake fluid change and service, the bill now increased to £1000.00. I was at work and being a single parent, I had no time to take it somewhere else. I was told to expect a call; I kept calling and was told that the CV had been damaged while doing the wheel bearing, but they would cover the cost, but I would have to wait for the car. This turned them in to me returing the car three times, each time the next day due to the new faults being so obvious that I fealt the care was not safe. The service turned in to:
• Driveshaft - replace
• Engine mount - replace
• Gearbox oil change (expected)
• Pendulum mount - replace
• CV joint - replace
all in addition to the initial work. They paidf for all of these, I had to pay an extra £160 for a new steering arm (apparently it was broken). My issue is that if the mechanics were doing road tests, they would have expected all these issues and not let me drive the car away. The garage paid for the additional items as a gesture of goodwill. I try not to be cynical, but I think I would have noticed all these things were off when I dropped it off the first time and so should the mechanic when he did his test drive. They had my car for 2 months in the end, I have another car, so I was able to wait. My complaints were passed from person to person, promises of updates not met. When I finally got my car back I continued my complaint and was offered £200 in vouchers to use at one of their garages; I declined and they then offered a £270 refund against the bill, which I accepted and sent bank details. I waited, sent two further emails asking where my payment was, called still no refund. This morning I sent a pre court notice and they paid within the hour. I had heard good things about the chain, so this I don't think this is a reflection of the chain, but there clearly is an issue at the Leatherhead store.

Needed two front tyres

Needed two front tyres, searched online and found best price, fitting was at F1, so went to F1 website and searched for same tyres, where they were listed at lower price. Bought tyres online, booked appointment at local F1 centre in Leatherhead. Email suggested turning up 15mins early for appointment which I duly did. On arrival they didn't seem to know about my booking, but said they would get my tyres fitted. Waited an hour where manager and another technician were dealing with other customer, other staff just floated around centre. After further 20mins I was told my car would be looked at shortly. Why book appointment when they operate queuing system ? My tyres were then fitted and keys returned. The online system doesn't appear connected to what happens in centre. Staff were courteous and job was completed in 2hrs, price was good, issues is with link between Online and Centre.

young person, who was claiming that he is manager was so rude. I had appointment to fit the tyres but they could not find my tyres that I payed for. I used this garage before and never had a problem with staff but this time had a very bad experience with youngster. Never again

Great service
