Great chocolate but poor packaging - but great customer service
The chocolate was amazing but the packaging was bad as all 3 slabs arrived cracked - but it did not affect the taste - but this is a probolem that should be looked at, as I was unable to gift any of the bars. There needs to be more protection in the box to protect the bars during transit.
Post writing this review, Firetree got in touch with me and sent me a replacement order which arrived safe and sound - thank you Firetree

Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear your bars reached you in less than perfect condition. We packed them in pristine condition but once they leave the Firetree factory they are out of our control.

Supremely good chocolate!
Goodness me, this is delicious chocolate! It's smooth, rich, tastes wonderful and is ridiculously good value for such a high quality product. Had read about Firetree in The Guardian and am so pleased to have tried it. The subscription service looks good and now that I've sampled a few bars, I know what to subscribe to. Delivery is very quick and the 6 bars I ordered came in a flat box that fits through the letterbox.

I have ordered the Madagascar Sambirano Valley 84% Cocoa and the Vanuatu Malekula Island 72% Cocoa. They both taste great with rich flavours. The delivery was fast. Would certainly have another purchase again.

As you are a fan of chocolate in the 70-80 percentages, we would recommend our Philippines 73% cocoa bar as well as our Solomon Islands, Guadalcanal 82% cocoa bar so you can really see that with the same 3 ingredients, how different the end taste can be, thanks to the terroir of the cocoa bean origin.
