I have just been through the process of renewing our LPG contract. I spoke to an advisor called Shaz. She was extremely helpful and we were happy to renew our contract for a further 2 years. All our dealings since transferring to Flogas 2 years ago have been both positive and professional, Shaz, reinforced that level of positive and professional customer service.

I called Flogas today because my contract renews in a few weeks. I had already received quotes from two other companies. The initial quote given by Shaz was about 10% higher than those quotes but when I explained that I had lower quotes, she negotiated with the pricing team and they matched the best quote. Great service from Shaz who was polite and efficient but it does show that you need to be negotiating bulk gas prices.

Once the administration of changing to this new supplier I am more than happy with their service
Had telemetry fitted to my tank free of charge so it automatically informs Flogas when the tank needs refilling, without the need for me to physically check or indeed be there when it’s done

Today I spoke to Helen to talk through our contract renewal offer. She clearly and professionally explained our options and the terms of the contract. I was able to agree the contract that was right for us on the phone directly.

Overall I’m fairly pleased with my 2-year Flogas renewal contract. Helen was helpful in getting me a deal that I was broadly comfortable with, although the price has gone up and it’s not fixed for the 2nd year as it was previously (but with a 3p cap). However, she didn’t respond when I said I had a slightly better deal from Avanti Gas and could they match it. So I’m a bit disappointed I didn’t receive a response, even if the answer was no.

my contact point was with abdullah he was efficient and helpful but basically my decision to change was largely motivated by your offer price of 47p a litre and the fact that calor were less than transparent with me in that when they quoted me a price they did not mention their surcharge. they have since come back to me with an offer of 46p per litre which I declined with thanks

If it was not for Shaz, Flogas would have lost our custom. Shame flogas can not renew at competitive prices by sending renewal terms by email which are not in line with competitors. Shame that I have to ring up to negotiate a fair price...it should be automatic for all customers.

First of all, I received an invoice for gas which had been "delivered" to me the previous day - it just so happens that it was "delivered" to someone else! I phoned and explained that no-one had delivered gas to me but was not believed until I mentioned that I have security cameras covering my driveway etc and that having these cameras meant that I had solid proof that no-one had made a delivery to me. They then agreed and said they would credit my account, but I then had to "re-order" my gas. I did so. The following day, gas WAS delivered to me at 05:41am. OK. However, the delivery driver did not bring the receipt and put it through my letterbox, he left it on the gatepost some 30yards away. I am disabled and cannot get out to pick up things left at the end of my driveway. When the receipt was brought to me - eventually, it could hardly be read, it was so feint. I suggest that Flogas equip the drivers with better ink pads in their receipt machines and tell the drivers not to leave receipts anywhere other than through the doors of the customers. Not everyone is mobile!

Flogas renewal was due and Helen sorted me out with as good a deal as will get the now, couldn't have been any easier. Been with flogas a while now and as long as they offer the best price I will stay. Fingers crossed the prices do come back down to a normal level soon tho.
