We visited the store in Leeds (Birstall) in search for a quality memory mattresses.
We met Mike who was very professional and helpful and made this selection very comfortable for us.

We've bought from F.V. before so were happy to go back.
Richard looked after us well; attentive without the "harassment " which can be the feeling in other establishments.Advice can come over as dictatorial in pursuit of a sale but not in this case.

We walked into the store and zac introduced himself then left us to look around saying I'm around if you want any help. It was lovely to be able to look around and try the beds without hassle. We found a mattress ( a hypnos one) went away to discuss it as it was a lot of money, we t back and bought it as it's a lovely mattress, the overall experience was hassle free, definitely recommend to my friend and family

Mike made the initial approach as he had seen me the previous day. He made me feel very welcome and not pushed for a sale. During our conversation he explained about fabric choice, finance options and care for the chair. It was everything that I came in for and I had little hesitation in placing an order

We had our new wardrobe installed today, but we noticed that the front edge of one of the white panels appears to be lifting slightly, leaving an uneven visible gap along the joint + scratch on the internal drawers.

I contacted customer care and, after waiting around 30 minutes in the queue, I spoke with Paige P. She was genuinely very easy to talk to and made the whole process straightforward and helpful. I was really happy with the interaction and, if I ever need to contact Furniture Village customer care again, I hope I get through to Paige.

After discussing the issue, we agreed to an alternative resolution, which we were satisfied with.

On entry wasim was very helpful and took my measurements and showed me what would fit in the space I had . I went to other furniture showrooms after and yours were great value and better styles and non were as helpful or polite as wasim so I went back to FV .

Whatever questions we had, he was able to answer them and we were very happy with what we’ve got coming and I would recommend to friends

We visited Furniture Village approximately 6 weeks ago looking for swivel high chair kitchen chairs. There was a very large amount of chairs which I must say is very well shown and displayed in Furniture Village. After a few minutes we were approached by Courtney who asked could she be of any assistance. We explained our situation regarding kitchen stools and said they needed to be a certain height. Courtney took time to show us and explain different options and then left us to peruse.
As we were undecided we explained to Courtney that we would look around other stores and thanked her for her help.
Today we revisited Furniture Village BIrstall again as we still had not made a purchase. Again after serveral minutes Courtney approached us to help and remembered us from last visit. After looking through various options we finally decided on 2 swivel kitchen chairs.
I must add Courtney helped us to make our final decision as she was polite, knowledgeable and pleasant without being too pushy throughout both our visits.
She is a credit to Furniture Village and I would recommend her to any visitors for assistance .

Very pleased with furniture purchased.Goods delivered on time. The 2 lads who delivered were a pleasure to have in our home. Table and chairs assembled no problem.

Love this company so much, loads of choice with friendly staff, even got a lovely coffee & biscuit while choosing my sofa, my 3rd from furniture village highly recommended,

The young woman who served us was helpful not pushy, was pleasant and informative but didn’t blast us with unwanted information that we weren’t interested in. She responded well to our buying style without being offended and read the room accurately which ultimately resulted in us buying what we bought.

Khadija was very helpful, and apologetic for the long time hold, she handled my enquiry professionally and sympathetic , and escalated my issues further, happy with this part of the journey .

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Furniture Village.
I spent over £1,500 on a chest of drawers with matching bedside tables expecting a premium-quality product. When it arrived it had what is clearly a scrape/defect in the wood. Despite this, the company keeps insisting it is “part of the natural wood grain,” which is simply not believable.
Even the delivery drivers commented that they thought it looked like an issue and advised me to raise it with the store. I did exactly that, sent photos, and the staff member I initially spoke to agreed they would not be happy receiving it themselves. They said they would contact the supplier and try to get the issue resolved.
Since then, the experience has been awful. Every time I call, I’m told the matter will be “escalated,” only to then hear absolutely nothing back. I have spent over a month chasing for updates because no one contacts me unless I repeatedly call the store myself.
The supplier continues to claim the damage is intentional/natural, despite staff members agreeing they wouldn’t be happy with the product.
For the price paid, I expected quality furniture and professional customer service. Instead, I have been left feeling ignored, dismissed, and completely let down.
I will now be seeking a professional opinion on the damage and considering legal action if this matter is not resolved properly.

I will never buy anything from furniture village again, the buying process was easy the delivery was early all good so far, our sofa came delivery team was ok if a little rough, we noticed straight away our sofa didn’t look the same level and one of the recliners was clunky after a few days the recliner became lopsided, called out the repair team they attended said the sofa had been damaged on delivery reset the brackets straightened the sofa up and told us the parts for the recliner would be ordered and fit another day. This is where the good stuff ended the report came through that the brackets which the repair man straightened was put down to poor delivery and set up, the recliner on the other hand was blamed on Misuse which we know isn’t true and also there’s no evidence of this to be true. Cue endless phone calls to furniture village and Castelan who provide the insurance I paid extra for but is a SCAM each company just told me to ring the other company over and over passing the book as no one wanted to help, they send Castelan out to do warranty work while they are there they make sure there’s no come back on them so they don’t have to pay out.. even if the recliner was damaged with misuse this isn’t covered on the insurance in fact not a lot is covered on the insurance. clever use of words means there isn’t much you can claim for. So ending this don’t buy from furniture village once they have your money you can sod off and there not interested even there customer service is shocking at best but fair play to them they all sing of the same hymn sheet so they should be commended for that. Don’t believe the family run firm that’s long gone and if you actually do buy of furniture village done waste your money on the insurance it’s not worth the paper it’s written on

Our first experience with Furniture Village was a good one

Our experience was so smooth and straightforward. Mike was incredibly helpful from the moment we walked in and gave us a lot of useful additional help/context while we were deciding. The purchasing process was made so simple and delivery should be speedy, which is fantastic.
The range of sofas on offer is fantastic, at a range of great prices and really good value for money, and the staff really look after you through the process.
