I have already had furniture from the Edinburgh store, so this was a return visit. Roger Singh was very helpful and friendly. Thank you Roger. My experience with Furniture Village has been nothing but positive, from the in store staff to the delivery drivers. Thank you 😀

The quality of the furniture is good - But that is the only positive about this company.
Their delivery /customer / complaint services are very poor. I've ordered a wardrobe on March 22nd with a commitment of 1-3 weeks delivery. Till now, it is not been delivered (a broken wardrobe was attempted to deliver few days back). I am still chasing on my own.

So if anyone looking for a fast delivery and proper customer handling - this is not a good place

UPDATE (9th May) : Please be aware that this company (Edinburgh stores) is very unprofessional and unethical in handling customers. For no fault on customer side, they behave with very poor ethics. very unpleasant experience.

We have bought several items of furniture from this store over the past few years since they opened up their new store in Edinburgh. What brings us back is the quality and style. Everything is so classy looking.
Staff are always helpful and spend plenty of time with you. We've had dealings with Jordan, Hailey and Keith as salespersons from this store.

Showroom was clean and tidy. Staff were all friendly. Tom Lawson was our advisor. He was polite, attentive and knowledgable. He gave us various options and didn’t pressure us. Once we had decided on the table and chairs he worked out a good deal for us. Delivery had been planned in. Would recommend.

We had fantastic advice from Jordan Woods and he showed us exactly what we were looking for. Now we have measured the space at home, given the information we needed, we will be happy to make an order next week.

Tom was excellent.

We were kept up to date with completion of the sofa plus the delivery date. Also kept up to date with the delivery by text up to timings. The delivery men Rab and John were very helpful and polite also answering any questions.

One star for the salesperson who was very good and professional. Minus four stars for the service after purchase. Delivery was diabolical whilst we watched our delivery being thrown out of van and the driver using Stanley knife to open package and he sliced open suites. This then showed how flimsy the materials are inside and out After service awful have had to fight for a refund. Took seven phone calls to get someone to call to get refund. Wouldn’t recommend as after service is awful

We placed an order with Furniture Village Straiton simply because the product was at the best price and even after a couple of visits there was absolutely no pressure to make a purchase but always an offer of a cup of coffee. So we ordered a Tempure mattress and a bed base with headboard. About 4 weeks after this we changed our mind and wanted to change the type of bed base and keep the mattress part of the order the same. As a solicitor, it was clear to me that this would be our problem to solve. We had agreed a contract of sale with Furniture Village and I fully expected to pay a reasonable cancellation charge for the bed base we no longer wanted. I was really delighted when they agreed to cancel and replace the bed base and actually offer us a refund on the small difference. I doubt many furniture retailers would do this these days. Based on this, and the non-pushy, down to earth, approachable service and guidance offered by all the people we met at this branch, I will look no further next time i'm in the market. These are nice folk, selling nice furniture.

Our sales consultant in the Straiton shop - Ian Lawson introduced himself when he saw us sitting at a dining table. He explained that he was there if we needed any assistance but would leave us to browse. This made for a much better shopping experience compared to other shops. Ian was close by once we had chosen our furniture and took his time explaining the whole order/delivery process.

Great personal service from salesman Tom Lawson. Spent time unhurried to help us reach a purchase decision. Would recommend.

We met a very polite, helpful young man named Andrew. He was very patient with my friend Julie who bought a sofa and chair today. In the future if I am going to buy a new suite I will definitely ask for Andrew.

Andrew was fantastic! We came in looking for a sofa and he made us feel at ease straight away. The process was simple and we got a great deal.

Andrew was so good in fact, that we came back two weeks later to buy a bed and mattress!!

Sorry for not leaving a review after the sofa purchase, hopefully this makes up for it. If I could leave 6 starts I would!!!
