Poor communication and worse customer service

I ordered five lights. Galls shipped two immediately along with some accessories, but the remaining three lights were backordered for nearly a month. I was never notified of the backorder. I only found out after contacting them to ask why items (including a bracket) were missing.

At that point, I told them to cancel the backordered lights and that I wanted to return the two I had already received, since I’m not going to mix and match equipment.

The customer service agent refused to process the return and sent me to their online system instead. That system then attempted to charge me a return fee. When I contacted support again, I was told it “wasn’t their fault” and that I would have to pay the fee.

I requested a supervisor and made it clear I would dispute the charge if they tried to bill me for their failure to disclose the backorder. Only then did their tone change. Suddenly I was a “valued customer,” and they agreed to waive the fee as a so-called “one-time courtesy,” while still insisting the situation was my fault because I didn’t want to wait for the product to eventually come in.

Bottom line: poor communication, refusal to take responsibility, and customer service that only becomes helpful when a chargeback is mentioned. We were planning to purchase several dozen more lights this year, but that business will be going to another vendor. Galls has permanently lost our business.

I needed next day delivery

I needed next day delivery. I order on a Friday, and the receipt said it would deliver on Saturday. However, it did not arrive till the following Tuesday. After speaking with a Galls, LLC representative I was told any item order on that day will not be loaded out for delivery till the next business day. Since I order on Friday it didn't ship till Monday even though their receipt said it would deliver Saturday. I paid an additional $52.99 for the overnight delivery that promised Saturday delivery and we it didn't I was scrambling to replace my thing I order that got broke. I am posting on here to let consumers know their next day delivery is actually 2 days. The reason the rep told me was due the carrier picking up their shipments in the AM, and not the afternoon. I worked in freight business for 32 plus years and never have heard or seen anything like this before. Please beware of there next day delivery and know at a minimum it's 2 days.

I was able to get same day service and the representative was professional and very helping in fulfilling my order. Thank You Guys for being effective with the needs of uniforms to perform our job responsibilities.

I had a great experience shopping here

I had a great experience shopping here. The store has a really nice selection of clothing, and everything is well-organized and stylish. The quality of the pieces stood out to me — you can tell care is put into what they carry. The staff was friendly, helpful, and not pushy, which made browsing really enjoyable. Prices felt fair for the quality, and I ended up finding more than I planned to buy (always a good sign). I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

Great service!

Whenever I come to the store to spend my allowance Al always have patience with me and helps me get as much as I can get with the money that they give issue. Al is always very patient.
