In an effort to reinstall our HP printer, when I Googled corrective steps a Geek Care chat box appeared. They represented themselves as HP tech support. Eventually, I talked to a representative who said his name was Jasper Williams. He provided his HPA gent ID as JW 9810HP. He remoted into my HP computer. Diagnostics appeared on the computer screen. Jasper stated the computer was infected with malware and completed corrupted by Trojan horse software. But not to worry, he could fix it today offering a network 'Firewall' to the tune of $1345. When I told him I wanted to do some quick authentication research, after a hard sale he hung up. He left my computer in Safe Mode and removed internet connectivity. The real HP tech was able to get the computer and printer back on line. There was no malware on the computer. This is a complete scam.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent experience with geekcare deserves a mention. Our office printer had been giving me small headaches for weeks — sometimes it wouldn’t connect, sometimes the prints came out all wrong. I finally reached out to geekcare, and I’m glad I did. Their team didn’t rush, they just calmly walked me through what they were doing and fixed everything without any hassle. Total scam! Cheaters and liars. Do NOT fall for this like I did. I thought I was online with Geek Squad (because that is what they want you to think.) They scammed me out of $1,890.

This is a scam. You can see exactly this company being exposed by searching for and viewing the youtube video "Scammers PANIC After I Tell Them Their REAL Names". They make about half a million dollars each year in scams.

They are very good at being professional scammers. But in the end they will have screwed up your system and taken a large amount of your money.

This is a fraudulent company. They pretended to check connectivity issues with my printer, then I mistakenly gave them access to my computer. They told me they were going to refund my money, They got into my bank account then deposited 2400 dollars. The man on the phone freaked out and told me I needed to go to my nearest grocery store and buy four $500 Visa cards to reimburse them. I went directly to my bank and had it resolved. In the meantime they had taken back all but $4 of the $2400 deposited into my account and moved my savings money to my checking account. I stopped them just in time. Do not call this company. They are scammers and their website needs to be taken down

Google still shows them as sponsored! They are CRIMINALS that steal your information off your computer once in!

total scam, avoid it! if you look at youtube you can find how they scam people, there is a 20 minute report on how these Indian scammers steal people's money, and the incredible thing is that they are still in business!!!

I was scammed out of several hundred dollars. I have contacted the company multiple times to ask for a receipt showing what I paid for and have never received anything. Just called them and they hung up--called back no answer. Why isn't this company under rigorous investigation?

This is a scam company ,who pretend to repair over the internet ,a repair for a price - Located in office space Tower C Noida One , 922, Block B ,sector 62 Noida ,Uttar ,Pradesh 201309 India - while you’ve a Indian government that’s corrupt every citizen want a slice of the pie from Police ,Civil Servants to the PM , so why wouldn’t they scan people for money in America ,UK ,Canada ,Australia never seem to find there own country or neighbouring countries - who only seem to work Night shift - by day the office is used for a whole different reason . Operating as far as I know right-up to 2023-09-06 - scammers SINDHU - DIVESH -PRESHANT - SPARAH -UTKARSSH - and Google as also to be blamed for excepting money for placing advert at the top of engine search

These guys are literally scammers defaming our country's name.
