Booked a Select holiday but did not get Select coach going to Ireland was a long journey and the seats started to feel uncomfortable. Hotel and staff were lovely but did not like that we were all herded into a separate room for meals it was not a very nice or comfortable room and felt like we weren’t good enough to be seated in a proper dining room. Food was good and plentiful and appreciated that they catered for Coeliacs. Driver was great and made our holiday.

Just returned from yet another superb holiday with Glenton,this time it was the Irish Lakeland and Dublin tour.
From pick up to drop off everything was perfect,the coach spacious,the Bloomfield house hotel, first class with a great selection of quality food,the room lovely and clean and the staff all very friendly.
Away from the hotel,the tours to Strokestown,Galway and Dublin(which included a very informative on coach guided tour) were all excellent,unfortunately the weather in Dublin was rather wet but it gave us a chance to enjoy the Irish pub atmosphere and a wee tipple!
Finally,just a big thanks to our driver Graeme for playing his part in making this a great trip with his friendly,cheerful and helpful manner.
Overall,good value for money.

Lovely holiday, superb friendly driver, good hotel and fantastic food.
Only down side was journey too long to be sitting in one place for this length of time.

Travelling with my elderly mother. Ideal in all ways. She is asking when she can go again.

Just back from Norwich. Lovely hotel. Coach had so much leg room so excellent journey. Our driver Graeme was excellent. An all round enjoyable holiday 10/10. Would highly recommend Glentons

FROM PICK UP AT HOME EVERY STEP WAS OF A HIGH STANDARD. COACH,HOTEL,TOURS,RETURN JOURNEY. THE HOTEL WAS WELL ABOVE THE STANDARD YOU WOULD EXPECT FOR THE COST OF THE HOLIDAY. WELL DONE WE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE YOUR SHORT BREAKS AGAIN.

What made this holiday for me was our host Moira. Very attentive and always looking after us making sure our holiday was going well and organising our days. What would have been good was hotel to issue us with a map of area when we checked in. Also did not see much information on areas we could discover on our own had to go to tourist information centre for this. Was first solo holiday and I was very apprehensive about it. However as I have said our host Moira put me at ease.

Can't praise this holiday anaugh. The hole holiday was fantastic. It was a great experience. All the other holiday members were just great . And a special mention must go to Moira , she made sure everyone got a great holiday.

We had a lovely 5 days away Southport/Liverpool coach driver very helpful and hotel and food very nice .

Hotel was top notch, driver Chris was a good steady driver and very accommodating.

Everything was well organised, Moira our host was brilliant, the hotel was nice, and I enjoyed the trips we had. Our group all got on very well, they were a great bunch of people, I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday

This holiday was wonderful. Alan, the driver was entertaining, kind,polite and very helpful. The hotel was excellent as it was in the middle of Newcastle, the food was excellent, the rooms lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, tidy and modern.
The first outing was to Alnwick Castle. We had glorious weather; the castle was wonderful. The gardens and fountain and water features was stunning and I loved The Poison Garden. We had time for a walk around the town of Alnwick. Lovely little market town.
Second outing was to Morpeth. Another lovely market town with plenty of places to get a bit to eat.
Last outing was to Lindesfarne. What a lovely run in the coach as the sun was shining and the countryside was amazing. The walk to and around the castle was nice and we had plenty of time to explore the town of Lindesfarne.
That afternoon we went to Seahouses which was yet again a lovely seaside village.
Fantastic holiday, friendly people on the coach and I think a great time was had by everyone.
Excellent holiday. Can't recommend Glenton Holidays enough.

Comfortable Coach, driver very friendly and amenable though he couldn't find the pick up point initially.
Excursions were very good and well organised [except the trip to Chorley market as we went on a day it wasn't open, big disappointment.]
The hotel was good including the food.
Made some friends in the course of the trip which was nice.

This is a review for my parents who had a nightmare with Glenton Holidays.

1: Taxi arrived on time to pick them up, only to find no room for their case and fathers zimmer frame. Glenton knew he was taking this, so should of sent a bigger taxi. Waited twenty minutes for another taxi to arrive.

2:Booked holiday as they would be on bus last and dropped off first. Did not happen!
3: As the design of the coaches having STEEP stairs to the toilet, more stops needed as some people cannot managed these steps and need to go to the loo!

4:Booked a room with walk in shower, as father has a disability. Did not get this and ended getting a room with a bath and had to step over this! Glenton refunded the room price after we complained. Hotel was nice with good food by the way!

5: Case was left behind at the hotel and were told they had to wait a week to get it back by the very rude driver. Glenton arrange the case to be delivery two days later after we compained! Driver was seen letting non Glenton staff loading the cases on the coach. Strange? Driver decided to go back a different route dropping off my parents last at Hamilton.

Now this one worries me greatly, driver dropper off passengers on a BUSY DUAL CARRAGEWAY. I would not except that happening to my parents and i will be contacting the Health & Safety Exec to questing this very dangerous practace.

6: Taxi did not turn up at Hamilton to pick my parents up, after waiting over an hour in the cold, they had to arrange a taxi home at a cost of £38.

So, if your thinking of going on a trip with Glent, you have been warned. My parens have traveled with them for years, spending thousands of pounds and will not be returning to Glentons.

There was one Lady in the office calledElaine, I think. She was amazing help and a true asset to this company. Maybe promote her to Manager, as she is that good!

After my complaint, Glenton offered a £30 refund for the wrong room. Thats good! Then the insut came, by offering them a £40 voucher off the next holiday. Because of the perthetic offer, they will never be back with Glenton!

The coach driver was very knowledgeable the hotel was very nice.but food was Luke warm on the buffet

and fellow passengers and driver very friendly and helpful.
