Great Staff

My favourite outdoorsy shop
My favourite outdoors shop, love going in for a look around. The staff in the Tamworth shop are always helpful and polite. I haven’t had many problems with online orders except for one where I ordered an electric cooler which went missing however I was quickly refunded. I always go to Go Outdoors first when I need anything outdoorsy/camping equipment.

Helpful and informative
I was served by Matt who was very helpful and friendly, fetching various pairs of sandals for me to try, none of which fit properly. I mentioned larger fitting and he advised on a brand, fetched a pair, no pressure, said I could wait and see if they had the alternative pair in which he had originally mentioned.
The sandals were perfect, and his information on wide fitting brands really helpful.

Great store
Great store, great selection rarely do we walk out without what we intended to purchase. Knowledgeable staff, Jacob and Ellis were really helpful with the advice for the down jacket we bought. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

I use Go Outdoors for the great fishing…
I use Go Outdoors for the great fishing bargains and the Click n collect option is ideal for me as Tamworth is only a few miles away.
I visit quite frequently and quite a few staff give me a friendly smile when picking up my orders.

Sold gas canister which I tried on my…
Sold gas canister which I tried on my cadac and it was leaking went back to the store to get replacement only to be told that you can not return gas canisters
To the store and you can not have a refund
I will be putting this all over social media
Telling people not to purchase gas from your stores

We are saddened to hear you felt your concerns were not handled appropriately when you returned to store. We also regret to learn of your comments regarding the service you received from the store manager, as this is not the level of customer care we aim to provide.
For safety reasons, there are restrictions around the return of gas canisters, however we appreciate that this does not address the concern of a potentially defective product. We'd like the opportunity to review what happened and ensure your feedback is investigated fully.
