Your website indicates that cancellations are free until February 7th, so I requested to cancel on the 5th. Even so, I was advised to contact booking.com, who redirected me back to the hotel. I suggest ensuring you're certain about your plans before choosing this place. I won't be staying where COVID-19 is nearby.

A very pleasant stay at this hotel I have stayed here before and found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy. Meals are very good. Easy access to central railway station as its next to it. You don’t hear any noise. Central Glasgow, just walk outside and you’re in the heart of the city! Good deals on accommodation with a reduction of car parking at the NCP carpark Oswald street next door. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Champagne Central at Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow - extremely poor “luxury” afternoon tea. Waited over 25 minutes for coffee after having to ask for service and ask another twice where the coffee was. Obviously couldn’t wait to get cleared up over half an hour prior to end of afternoon tea and provided with wooden stirrers - unfortunately already booked another on - not looking forward to it now 🙄

On your website it shows free cancellation up until 7th February I requested cancellation on 5th and yet was told I would have to take it up with booking.com however booking.com have told me to speak to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend unless you know you want to stay there. I refuse to stay at a place where coronavirus is only two streets away.

excellent service, caring staff and good atmosphere. Loved being here. Food is also good. So give a try.

The Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow, is getting to be like a home fom home for me now. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They really made my stay pleasant. Well, that and seeing Tony Bennett. The room was spacious and clean and had a king-sized bed. Because it was a Saturday, I expected it to be very noisy at night but I was very surprised that it wasn't too bad.
