Extremely poor interactions with this…
Extremely poor interactions with this company. Having been in communication for several weeks while planning a new kitchen, the quoted price was significantly changed the week of installation with no willingness to discuss or negotiate despite having already paid a deposit. When the new price was rejected, the company owner blamed the price hike on a quoting error and advised he had sacked the poor person involved….shocking way to treat both a customer and employee. Owner was both rude and unreasonable in communication.
Reply over a year after placing the review, and your reply is in-factual. Really disappointing to see a company evidently trying to cover errors by blaming the customer. Really poor.

We rely on customers providing us with accurate sizes and drawings wat quote stage. Only at template does it become an accurate price when the actual sizes get recorded and then we have to reprice initial quote up and down.
We have had same staff for years and lost anyone where retired staff still fill in for holidays so incorrect.
We are sorry we could not assist you in this matter and appreciate honest feedback
Shocking level of service and product
What a terrible experience!
I had quartz replacement worktops fitted by Granitemasters and it turned out they used 2 different pieces of quartz resulting in a quite a colour difference in the 2 adjoining bits.
After a further 2 inspection visits by 3 of their staff they agreed to replace 1 piece which although was a better match, was not an exact match, so was not acceptable to me.
I asked for a refund which was scoffed at, literally, and after a further week's delay when I have had to call them to progress this, they are insisting on yet ANOTHER inspection visit upon which THEY will decide whether to replace the worktops completely. No recompense for the inconvenience/upheaval caused has been mentioned.
The tone of the manager, Stuart Grieve's email to me is deplorable and I have no idea who these people think they are.
I have agreed to the further inspection visit so watch this space.

Hi Anne thanks for your post. Yes we had a quality issue with a supplier of stone which we have since ceased using. Thanks for taking the time to post an honest review and glad you got sorted in the end
Poor customer service
Poor customer service, bad manners. I do not recommend this place.
The business responded now, how kind. Details of your incompetence do not interest me. Please bore somebody else with these.
The respondent is a very rude person, just see below, first they wrote about me ''I am a horrible person'', now they wrote ''I have been bullied in a former life''. I have the right to express my feedback, and what they don't recognize is that these words they have used (which I took a screenshot of) go under this new Hate Crime law, which came into force on 01/04. I will now be reporting it for an investigation.
Further communication from business owner reveals his true approach to customers, where dignity and respect doesn’t exist. As they say, tiny man – huge ego!

You were not a customer of Granite Masters so find it strange you have to resort to posting such a silly review .We said no... we do not want to bring in two slabs of Black starlight at over £1300, make you a shelf for a bathroom and have them sitting outside getting weathered for 8 months so NO.
NO means NO and you dont like to hear that but thank you for positng such as we will now use this platform for all our recent works.
We suggested that you take your business elswhere after your demands on our staff and have obviously been bullied in a former life and feel the need to do this to others which we will not tolerate as a company.
NO means no.
Edited 16th April. We are lost for words , your review and the way you spoke to the staff was shocking to say the least. No means NO

The window sill must be made from Black Starlight quartz, as my worktops will be made from the same material.
The other wee bit could be made form the same type of quartz or a piece of granite.

We supply , template and manufacture Kitchen worktops only in Granite and quartz where surveyor attends your property .
We don’t get involved with wee bits of shelves or bathrooms thro email as total pain in the erse tbh and disaster waiting to happen as open to interpretation .
If you are looking to get something manufactured then out with our standard then you bring a template into our showroom ideally Monday to Friday see what you want from stock outside and goes into production.
