It's a billing scam.

The service consistently has a horrible delay - regardless of Internet speed. When I reduced my subscription, the system would not let me reduce the total number of "phone numbers" assigned to my account under the previous subscription and so it continued to bill me a new hidden charge for each additional phone number. So, even though I was able to reduce my subscription online, my invoice actually increased due to the charge for individual numbers that were free with the previous subscription and that I was not allowed to change online or even prompted to change. Essentially, it's a billing scam and they do not offer any retroactive credits to the account.

Flexible system is great!

It's super helpful to be able to answer company calls and messages on our cell phones or the office computers! Flexibility is a must for us! It's my understanding that there is a limit to the number of contacts that can be in your system. For us that might be the one concern, since we're growing and have lots of contacts!

This company has been one of the worst…

This company has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a business phone provider.

The phone rarely rings properly. Most of the time, you only receive a missed call notification after the call is already gone.

Registering for texting was an absolute nightmare. I was never able to successfully complete registration, and even after moving to another provider, I still had to come back to them just to release my number for texting registration.

Somehow, even after porting my number away from the company, they still retained control over the texting registration side of the number — despite never successfully enabling texting in the first place.

If you pay annually and decide to leave after even one day, there are NO refunds. Terrible customer experience with no flexibility whatsoever.

Switched to Quo and the experience has been dramatically better. Quo all the way.

Customer Support team can get agitated…

Customer Support team can get agitated pretty easily and accusatory of the person who needs support. The information on their toll free SMS registration that they want you to copy and paste may be inaccurate and you might be sent a different set of text to copy and paste for your site when your application gets rejected. No refunds for cancellations as they will try to ask you to give your number to someone else you might know.

**Update**

After receiving a response to my review and a request for follow-up information. They decided to send another rep to inquire about an issue one rep had already closed so there is either a lack of communication between reps or they are hoping for a change in my review. After inquiring about a refund once again with this rep I was then sent over to a fourth customer rep who repeated the company line of being unable to process a refund because of policy. I would drop the review to less than 1 if I could as they continue to attempt to waste my time after I've already moved on from working with the company.

The SMS registration is mandated by the carriers and is an industry-wide impact. The guidelines provided are give the best chance to acceptance, however if rejected by the carriers then we work to provide additional guidance and granularity.
