I recently had the privilege of conducting a celebration of life service at Heatherley Park Green Acers, and I left with a deep sense of gratitude for the venue and its staff. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming, providing a comforting backdrop for families and friends to gather and remember their loved one as they say their goodbyes.

The facilities at Heatherley Park Green Acers are beautifully maintained, with tranquil gardens and well-kept indoor spaces that foster a sense of reflection and warmth. The staff demonstrated genuine compassion and professionalism throughout the process, assisting with every detail to ensure the service ran smoothly and respectfully.

What stood out most was the environment itself, which allows a service to truly honor the unique life being celebrated. The three staff members I met today, Nessa, Jo, and Louie, were professional and showed me great kindness, as it was my first time there.

I would highly recommend Heatherley Park Green Acers to anyone seeking a thoughtful, serene setting for a celebration-of-life memorial service. Green Acres dedication to creating an environment for families during such a meaningful moment is evident in every aspect of the surrounding area grounds.

I am looking forward to conducting another celebration of life service there again and would absolutely no hesitations in recommending Heatherly Park to any of my families looking for a different venue.

What a wonderful place it is, with the most helpful and compassionate people that you would wish to meet. A lovely open plan building which allows the gardens to join the service, with a delightful reception area which allows you to wait for and celebrate afterwards without going anywhere. Thank you

Epping Forest is a beautiful and tranquil place but the Team has also achieved to make it a very special place where visitors share and talk to each other in the most authentic and sincere way. Thank you for your amazing work.

Since I lost my Mum 6 months ago I have been up to Greenacres Rainford a lot. Such a beautiful setting and I couldn't think of anywhere better for my Mum. From the first day I went and every time I have been since I cannot fault the service they provide. Gina in particular was lovely and really helped me when I was arranging the service and the plot for the ashes burial.
When it was time to bury the ashes, a lady called Chris helped with the interment and My Mums ashes were buried by one of the Groundworkers called Luke. The respect and kindness shown by him (and Chris) was so nice. Even now, 6 months on the groundworkers are checking on Mums tree and making sure everything is ok and it means a lot.

The team at Heatherley Park could not have been more welcoming, professional and accommodating as we planned the Memorial for Mum. Nothing was too much trouble and they handled everything with compassion and sensitivity. As a family we are all very grateful that we could scatter Mum's ashes in such a beautiful place.

Greenacres Hatherley Woods is a very special place. My dad died last year and we held the celebration of his life in the Great Hall. We also placed the ashes of both my parents in the new orchard this weekend. The location is beautiful throughout the seasons and the flowers and wildlife make this a truly natural environment. The hall is filled with light and all you can see are trees and meadowland through huge glass windows. More than anything though this is about the people who run it. Jenny and Ness have been wonderful throughout. They understand this is about people and emotions and that everyone's grief is different. They are warm and kind and at no point did I feel pressured-they understand the process takes time and you need to be ready to let go. Both the service and the ashes internment were organised professionally but with warmth and gentle encouragement. Nothing was too much trouble and things just got sorted without fuss.Ness did a perfect introduction to start the ashes internment and knew what to say that was personal to my parents-because she had got to know them through talking to me and listening. The grounds staff work hard to maintain the grounds and when you attend it feels like a warm and friendly team. We have a lovely place to honour my parents' memory and I know we will feel welcomed and visit often. Thank you Jenny, Ness and team for everything you have done for us.

My late wife was buried at the Rainford park in June 2018. The beautiful grounds and perfect staff made it a no brainer when choosing a final resting place for my gorgeous lady.
Over the years the dedication of both office and grounds teams make trips up there ( and I have made over 200 ) a lovely peaceful experience every time.
The diversity of changing colours during the seasons is quite extraordinary. And of course the bluebell covering for a short spell each year is quite spectacular.
The office and ground staff are always courteous and empathetic. It is easy to see the ultra hard work that the guys that drive the tractors , dig and manicure the woods and clearings are very dedicated to their craft.
And of course the staff in the offices will be working just as hard to facilitate a positive experience to those who through various circumstances attend the Greenacres venue .
Overall , this lovely place has done my late wife proud .

Thank you so much to Ness and the team. Sadly, we had known for a few months that my wife was going to die, and we looked together for the right place for the funeral and to lay her ashes to rest. We chose Heatherley Park. The park itself has beautiful meadows, groves of trees and woodland for the final resting place. The service hall was perfect for her funeral service. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Thank you.

We held a celebration of my mums life at Heatherley Park. It was the most wonderful location, an uplifting building set amongst meadow and woods. We all came together to read and share our memories, and played a video slideshow. Everyone present loved it, and mum would have too. The team were extremely helpful and respectful. After our celebration we all had drinks and catered eats in the reception area. Thanks to everyone at Heatherley for making our event just wonderful.

Thank you to Emma for your professionalism with my dad’s internment on 19th September. As a family we were happy with the lovely poem you read out as we laid my dad’s ashes to rest. Thank you also to Micky for the way he prepared the area beforehand and after. We would highly recommend GreenAcres Kemal Park as a resting place for loved ones as the care given at a sensitive time by all the staff but especially Emma was amazing.

Beautiful, Lovely, and Amazing are words you don't very often hear to describe a funeral but that is how we all felt when we laid my husbands father to rest in February.
Brad and the whole team at GreenAcres Beaconsfield were outstanding....thank you for your kindness from start to finish.

Donna and the team are exceptional, they go above and beyond during a very difficult time for the family. Beautiful area, very happy with everything.

My late brother's funeral was held at the Rainhill branch of greenacres and as much as the place was beautiful I found the lack of support from staff that witnessed me being verbally abused by the funeral director Allan Stockley of garvey and young, very distressing. Even the police weren't helped when I reported the incident afterwards.
It was a funeral I was grieving and someone should've stepped in.
He should also be black listed to use your premises as he was so unprofessional and vile the way he carried on in front of mourners.

We decided to have my Dads funeral service at Greenacres on the 16th August 2025 after I attended a previous Service at Greenacres seeing it was such a beautiful setting and environment to celebrate your loved ones life.
Myself and mum attended Greenacres without an appointments on a Saturday, as my mum was intially unaware of the options of a service at Greenacres, we where greated by extremely helpful staff who where only too happy to give us the full tour of Greenacres and their facilities. They were open honest and fully informed us all our options, tips to help us arrange the service music photo choices etc… no hard sell totally independent and provided us with non biased information.
My mum was very impressed and loved the option of a Greenacres service for my lovely Dad.
Our funeral directors liaised directly with Greenacres we had a perfect service in the perfect setting, the funeral was well organised , the beautiful, Photo reel and musical choices where the perfect personalised service we hoped for.
I would like to thank All Greenacres staff and at Tom at Co-op funeral directors and a special thankyou to Carmel Rourke (an amazing celebrant who lead the service). Who all made such a difficult day beautiful.

We had my mums funeral service at greenAcres on 07/08/2025 I’m so glad we chose this venue as it was perfect from arrival (grounds men bowed their heads with total respect) to the time we left staff were amazing. Such beautiful outlook throughout the service.
Would 100% recommend.

Whilst the day of mum's funeral went well (28/05/25) and staff were helpful, it was the 'after' that was poor. We had to wait 5 weeks to get mum's ashes due to poor communication between Greenacres and the funeral company, Pymms of Maidenhead. I had to chase for her ashes; sloppy and poor show at a tough time.

When I saw Heatherley Park in Grayshott, Hampshire, I knew it was the perfect place for Mum. I don't think many people know or think about this place, but if you read this review, hopefully it provides some insight to my experience. My mum at 62 was given the short terminal diagnosis of cancer of unknown primary. We had to talk about dying and where she like to be, mum was a no fuss person but i wanted to honour her wishes in what she did say. Not an easy thing to do as a daughter who was facing a parent just being diagnosed and then watching that parent decline within a month. Ness and her team were super welcoming, when I was trying to find a place for Mum. Mum wanted to be in the woodlands, near meadows, and not somewhere gloomy. Ness stayed behined after my call to enquire to show me around. She took me around the whole park, so many places to choose from, light places(no trees), darker places (trees), rose garden, meadows, the pond, fruit tree plots. I was able to share videos and pictures with my mum, allowing her to guide the process and have some say in this. It seems that everyone who was involved within my mums funeral spoke very highly of Heathley Park. I was not hurried to make a decision, Ness knew it had to be right for me and the family. I was able to take walks with my entire family and select the appropriate resting place for my mother following her passing. We choose a spot just before the trees with beautiful sunshine, the sound of birds and smell of the meadow upon walking away. My children love the memorial tree where they can write letters to their grandma which is a few hundred metre from mums spot. There is an abundance of wildlife to observe, and it is also somewhere you can walk with your dogs. There are many benches thoughtfully placed around the area, offering opportunities for moments of quiet reflection, i would urge you to sit and take a moment if you are considering here. All plots can have natural wood vases and posts, there is beehives, bird houses, bug houses, very biodiverse and environmentally friendly. As a life long sufferer of thanatophobia this location has provided me with a great deal of peace and serenity, it does not panic me and does not feel scary. My children are also at peace when walking around visiting. P.s . They also have a FREE grief session once a month.

Greenacres in Grayshott is such a beautiful resting place for my sister who was laid to rest with her husband, my brave sister had spoken during her short illness with aggressive cancer that she would like to be in a Woodland area that was open. Thank you to everyone at the park and particularly my niece for making the service so perfect .

What a beautiful and tranquil setting. My late Fathers Service was wonderful and very personal. (No, one in, one out crematorium). All guests arrived and mingled in a lovely room half an hour beforehand. Coffee was provided as a self service. Was lovely to meet with people and chat beforehand and relax a bit. We had nearly an hour for the Service in a beautiful Wood built venue, surrounded by Trees and glass windows, with views in front of us to look out upon. we left through lovely glass double doors, into the woods and then a wooded walk back to the car parks. Personally, we had a Piper playing Dad out - it was very emotional. But was everything he would have wanted. Would definitely hold future Funerals there and nowhere else could ever be the same as our beautiful experience.
