Take great care if purchasing from Greensun
Supplier (in particular Cain Fang and Dennis) provided consistently terrible customer service and truly abysmal logistics management.
mislabelled goods have caused a complete lock with warehouse bills mounting and neither the freight forwarder or Greensun sorting it out; despite offers from me to help pay.
Greensun shipped late and used a freight forwarder that kept the goods in China for more than a month, resulting in missed deadlines on all pre-Europe legs.
Since arriving in Europe the mislabelling and incredibly poor quality comms (although very swift) and abymsally passive management of logistics have caused problem after problem.
so after 10 months (order in July 2025) the goods remain undelivered. Contract was DDP; c. USD8k for 28 440W bifacial panels, 2 15kW batteries, hybrid inverter, cabling, accessories and mounting rails/clips.
bottom lines:
1. Greensun will refuse to act honourably and stand behind their commitments;
2. Greensun will not put the customer first in any respect.
3. Greensun will not accept that a DDP contract is unperformed after (nearly) a year and reship or refund. For 6 months they have refused to provide any plan B.
4. Cain Fang refuses to escalate meaningfully.
5. Greensun (Cain Fang) lied repeatedly in comms about the status of the order and that they have insurance for these things.
Do not order from this supplier without going through trade-assurance (which Greensun refused) or similar. If you must, then ensure you are a named party on all BoL's and that you take out insurance. Honestly, if they treat customers like this before the goods arrive, I shudder to think what warranty claims will look like.
I've also read extremely troubling things about the quality of the panels that they ship and the gross underperformance. I cannot judge this for myself.
