The shop has a post office and a butchers in one place which makes things very handy. Wonderful meat and lovely staff. I have never had an issue and have been ordering here for many years. Definitely recommend.
UPDATE: 24/3/23
Gwaun got in touch today and offered a full refund. I have upped the stars to 3 as they told me the courier had not told them that the meat had not been delivered. The courier seemed to be APC who are usually very good, but they seem to have passed the package to "Dash". Suggest if you want to use Gwaun that you check who is delivering and if it will be properly tracked.
Placed an order for Easter fresh Lamb on 8th March - plenty of time. Asked for delivery today, 23rd March. Meat has not turned up. I got a despatch notice yesterday saying it would be delivered today. Nothing!
No contact from either the courier or from Gwaun Valley. Their website states their meat is delivered day after despatch. Has it got lost in the system? Who knows! And the delivery charge is £15 which would have been fine if it was really next day, but it isn't!
I have had problems with fresh meat deliveries so this is the last time I'll be doing this. Some of these companies don't even care.
I won't be using this company again.
