TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!! I received my order on 11/2, but it was missing an item. I called and spoke with someone with poor English, but she definitely told me they were sending out the missing item and that I'd receive it within 3-5 days. Well, they didn't have the size I ordered (FRUSTRATING!), so I agreed to the next size up. It is now 11/22, and I still haven't received the item. I tried calling last week, but gave up being on hold after 30 minutes. I emailed them a few days ago...still nothing. I just called earlier, waited 35 minutes, and the employee, AGAIN, spoke poor English. Also, their service was terrible, which made it even worse. After almost 30 minutes, I was told I had to take this up with my bank. How does that make ANY sense?!?!? All I want it the item I ordered and PAID for!!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying them one more time, then I guess I will have to write corporate. I don't know what to do. If they won't send me this item, I want my money back!!!!!!!!!

Horrible customer service. I was on the phone for over 1.5 hrs last night with your manager Ritchie and her staff and she should not be a manager. You should listen to the call because i would be embarrassed if i ever had anyone treat my customers in that manner. I am a director for customer care and truly understand the importance of great customer service and ensuring that every customer is satisfied and you failed at that. I will never shop at your store ever again and will ensure that no one i know does either. Order was $158.00 CAD and they charged me an additional $100.96 duty...

I've only ever gone into the stores when they have sales, but when they do, they're good. I will say that their sizes tend to run a little small though, just like Carter's. Other than that, I've always had good experiences.
The last straw with Gymboree
I have continued to have poor experiences over the last 2 years with Gymboree stores and online. From not honoring a reward to exchanged merchandise, rude associates, and store management making mistakes by issuing expired gymbucks - which then I have to drive 30 min back to the closet store to me to have that fixed- today was just another frustrating experience. I had ordered an item that was sold out in store on the 12th of October. Today is the 26, and I had not received it. I went to track it and got no information. I called their customer service number and was told the item never shipped because it was sold out. They never contacted me to let me know this and they have all of my correct contact information on file, they also never refunded the amount of the order to my credit card. So if I had never called Who knows what would have happened, they probably would have kept the money. Pretty much stealing in my book, no wonder they are bankrupt and closing stores.

DO NOT order online from Gymboree. They lost my packages and they don't even refund the money. Package was lost from their fault and their customer doesn't even know how to handle a situation like this. I had to go through my bank to get the money back and I had to waste lots of time on this. I will never ever shop with them again.

The design and quality of the kids clothing are great, but price a bit too high.
Gymboree canceled half my order
Placed an order 2/6/17. The order was going to twin girls, age 7. Because of the gift packaging lack of options, my only options was to have 2 shipments. The first shipment was received but not the 2nd. When I checked on the order, I discovered that the 2nd shipment had been "canceled" , however that was not done by me. I was not notified of Gymboree's action. At this point, if Gymboree follows thru with replacing the 2nd shipment, it will arrive before these little girls' birthday. In their infinite kindness, Gymboree is not charging me for expedited shipping. This could have been avoided had someone just emailed me to verify that there were indeed 2 shipments. At this point, I suspect that the chances of Gymboree getting much more of my business is fairly low.
Probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced from an online order
I ordered some items as a Christmas gift and paid express shipping for a whopping $21 to make sure it arrived in time. The package arrived 2.5 WEEKS later. During those weeks I emailed and tried calling on a regular basis to get a status update and could not get in touch with anyone from the company. I finally got in touch a few weeks later and they made me pay to ship the items back for a refund. They said they would refund the original express shipping cost but they have not.
Horrible customer service
I placed an order at 11am on a Friday and paid $25 for overnight shipping. The order did not arrive until Tuesday. I called customer service and was told that their order cutoff time if 9am (??!!) and that "next day" means next business day, and since Monday was a holiday for some (NOT UPS who was the carrier for my order) that Tuesday was "on time." Gymboree would not refund any of the shipping. Horrible customer service and now a birthday present is late. I will never do business with Gymboree again.
Terrible
Website is not secure. They tell you this after shopping right before you order. Website did not honor their $25.00 coupon. When I called for service they put you on hold forever. Clothes are cute but overpriced. You can get the same clothes at Target for much less.

I bought my daughter a large order and she fell in love with these cute cat pants. After wearing them twice however, the knees and butt were deeply faded. I called customer service and was put on hold off and on for 31 minutes by a representative I could barely understand. She couldn't help me and asked to call me back. Which she did ...at 10pm. Still no answer. I also emailed to get a physical label. Two emails I got with the emailed copy of a label. Customer service cannot accept an email to get this accomplished and I only have 30 minutes of lunch time a day. I'm never ever buying from this worthless company again.
No customer service!
My package was lost by UPS. They refunded the money (my money) to Gymboree. Have already spent an hour and a half on the phone with them trying to get a refund. Finally, I was told I would get the refund. Well, I didn't receive it. Now I'm back on the phone with Gymboree waiting for a supervisor (who I think doesn't exist) - on hold for 30 minutes and counting! First I spoke to Stacia, who was to transfer my call to someone "who could help," but I was disconnected. Then I spoke with Marlicia who said it would be refunded to my charge card BUT she wrote in the notes(as I found out today) that I would have to contact my charge card company to dispute it. She never told med that! Now John has me on hold for 30 minutes and counting waiting for a supervisor. STAY AWAY! LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES!
Glad I found this store
I have ordered several items from this store, and I have been pleased with the quality and selection of clothes. I usually buy items when they are on sale because some of the clothes are priced too high for my budget otherwise. I have not been disappointed in gymboree and I plan to continue to order from them. I recommend this company. They treat their customers fairly.

High quality and cute styles wonderful sale helpful customer service and sales staff, i just love them. I just purchase clothes for my kids around $600 only for $200 thats why i stuck with them for 3 years which are my first daughter's age and always she's the most fashionista and adorable. Our family's favorite store.

I've been shopping with Gymboree for 9 years (when my first child was born). Their clothes are fantastic. I love the styles (we get tons of compliments when out and about) and the sales they run are phenomenal! Customer service has always been good and I've never had a problem with anything purchased through them. The quality is good too... which is great for keeping my kid's clothes looking good. Stains come out easy, they hold up well and the resale value is worth it.
