I highly recommend Handmade Hampers
Handmade Hampers made the whole gift hamper process so easy. I am based in Australia, and I wanted my hamper to be delivered to an address in Cambridge. Despite the time difference and proximity, I was regularly updated on the progress of the delivery. It was delivered to a neighbour rather than being left outside, because my friend wasn't home at the time, and I was notified of this. I then let my friend know so it could be picked up when convenient. Thanks so much Handmade Hampers!

Our courier did attempt to deliver the gift as requested, but unfortunately the recipient was not home at the time and the courier incorrectly returned the parcel to us in error. We spoke with the recipient to update her and arranged for a replacement gift to be delivered at her convenience.
We apologise the delivery did not go as smoothly as it usually does, but hope the gift was enjoyed upon recipient.

Great wedding gift. Delivery was perfect.

It was delivered on time and friends are delighted.
I liked that I could choose which champagne and other elements if the hamper.
I had some trouble with paying on the website and had to repeat the payment stage several times before it worked.

I feel i must respond on trustpilot rather than messaging you direct. DO NOT insinuate that i am attempting to blackmail you when i clearly haven't, i am merely a very unhappy consumer that is entitled by law to seek compensation from a business that they feel haven't provided the service they have paid for. I paid your company £7.95 for DPD to deliver my parcel as this is your preferred sender. DPD told me to contact you as their client and for you to contact them. I am merely stuck in the middle, DPD are lying to one of us as they have 2 different version of events. As a retail store manager myself i know it is difficult to have negative comments made about your business but at the end of day life isn't all 5 star reviews, you have to take the good with the bad and have the humility to accept it as so. This is my final word on this sorry saga thank you.

We have fulfilled our service to you. You paid for a gift to be delivered and we dispatched on time and our courier left the parcel with a neighbour on your preferred date as the recipient did not answer the door. The recipients neighbour brought the parcel to them later the same day - as confirmed in your original email.
We take all our feedback on board and do our upmost to make our customers purchases and deliveries as easy as possible but leaving us negative comments and reviews whilst demanding compensation is blackmail in our book. Especially as we know the gift was delivered as requested. As your review history seems to leave poor reviews for most companies you purchase from, it appears you like to be a serial complainer.

I am sorry you have felt the need to leave us a poor 1 star review, I can assure you we are very responsive to our customer contact.
I have checked our email inbox and was unable to find anything from you within this, however your email appears to have gone straight to our spam box so we were not aware of your complaint.
From the tracking information we hold, I can see the gift was delivered on 17/07/24 at 13.10 hours. The delivery image shows the parcel inside a property. This delivery was on your preferred date as per your order request and no delays occurred.
From your retrieved email you state the courier left the parcel with a neighbour who brought it to the recipient later the same day. From this action I can assume that despite timed delivery notifications being issued to the email/mobile number provided at 09.28 hours on 17/07/24, the courier could not obtain a reply from the recipient at the property so left the parcel with a neighbour for them rather than taking it back to the depot.
Despite your review implying the gift was not received, your retrieved email confirms their neighbour brought it to them later the same day so your comments within the review are very misleading.
Your retrieved email states you wish to have compensation for the stress and inconvenience, but I am unsure what stress or inconvenience you have suffered with a delivery that arrived on the day it was requested for.
Also, just to confirm - your gift contained a mixture of ambient food items, alcohol and cheese. I can confirm to you, all of our cheeses are dispatched inside an insulated envelope with an ice pack for transiting to the recipient. So as no delivery delay occurred the products were all well chilled in their packaging.

A horrible experiencie with your services
It was my son’s 30 birthday, a very very important date. It should be a surprise! I I first receive a message that the driver was a “bit” late…and saying it will be delivered between 4 and 5. Result: my son received his “surprise” five hours after this. I had to inform him about the present and he had to stay at home…your company destroy what should have been a great date for my family. I’m really dissatisfied.

Thank you for the review, I am sorry you are dissatisfied with our service. I have reviewed your order and can see the gift was dispatched in time for your preferred delivery date of the 5th July. Our courier issued a one hour delivery window notification to the email and mobile number you provided for the updates at 12.30 on the 5th July, the gift was then delivered at 16.52 which is within the timeslot of 16.00-17.00 which you were notified of. The delivery was not made 5 hours after the delivery window time and was with your son at 16.52 on the 5th July. The courier may have issued you a notification to say he was running late just to keep you updated but it seems he managed to make the delivery on time as you were notified of.
I am unsure how we spoilt the surprise for your son and destroyed a great day for your family as our courier delivered the gift on the date you requested. You have already stated you contacted your son to advise of the delivery yourself so he could wait in for it. We followed your order instructions and arranged the delivery for the 5th July as you requested.
As per the information within our website, our courier deliver gifts from 8am to 8pm each day, and delivery notifications will be issued to the mobile/email address provided within the order.
I do hope your son enjoyed his Champagne and Cheese Gift delivered on his birthday.
