Horrible experience with customer…

Horrible experience with customer service. I received several damaged items in an order and customer service was unwilling to work with me on getting refunded. Never ordering from here again. I used to love Hanna and quality and service has hit rock bottom.

My package appears lost by FedEx

My package appears lost by FedEx. Contacted customer service and was told they won't do anything for 20 business days. I asked for the policy but was sent the shipping policy which didn't state this. No offer to connect with FedEx which shows my package has been sitting for almost 2 weeks in the same facility.

Consistent Quality

Once I figured out sizing (runs large), my experience has been terrific. Shipping to the US is fast, and knowing their clothing is OekoTex certified gives me peace of mind. Indeed, they don’t offer free returns in the US, but I knew that before I made my first purchase - I’ve been shopping for 2 kids at HA for 6 years now. Their prints aren’t as bright as Boden’s, for example, but I find their quality to be more consistent, so I always know what to expect. I haven’t had to deal with customer service very often, but when I did, it was curteous and helful.

Extremely disappointed with Hanna…

Extremely disappointed with Hanna Andersson. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but I’m done. Multiple times I’ve placed orders during sales, only for them to get canceled later with ZERO notification from the company. By the time you realize it, the sale is over and the items are gone or full price again.

The worst experience was during Christmas when I ordered matching pajamas for me and my daughter, and they sent me a completely random pajama set instead. It ruined the whole matching moment I had planned for the holidays.

At this point, the lack of communication and repeated order issues feel incredibly unprofessional and honestly borderline predatory. Be careful ordering from them, especially during sales.

Also- Their customer service is terrible.

$7.50 return Disappointing Return Policy for Kids’ Clothing

I placed two orders from Hanna Andersson within three days and had sizing issues with items from both orders, which is pretty common when buying clothes for kids. When I went to return them, I was surprised to find I was charged a $7.50 return fee per package and was not allowed to combine the returns into one shipment.
What’s more frustrating is that the return fee appears to have increased from $5 to $7.50 without clear or transparent communication. For a brand that sells children’s clothing, where fit can be unpredictable, this policy feels especially unfair.
I reached out to customer service by email to see if they could offer any accommodation given the timing and circumstances, but they refused.
Customers shouldn’t be penalized multiple times for sizing issues, especially when orders are placed so close together. At a minimum, there should be an option to combine returns or more flexibility for situations like this.
Overall, a disappointing experience. And at this point, I doubt I will continue shopping there. Having to pay nearly the price of a T-shirt just to return items makes it hard to justify future purchases.

I placed an order 4/22 on 4/25 received…

I placed an order 4/22 on 4/25 received a text that my item dropped in price $10. Yes $10 is significant. called customer service and they don't do credits. I would need to return, pay a shipping fee and reorder at the sale price. I will never buy from them again., Horrible customer service.

I never received an item I purchased…

I never received an item I purchased from Hanna Andersson's Pre-Loved website (preloved.hannaandersson). When I contacted them to say I never received the item, they investigated with USPS, who "confirmed" the item had been delivered. But we have a Ring camera and nothing ever came to our house, so obviously the item was mis-delivered somewhere else. The response from the HA's Pre-Loved customer service team was that nothing can be done - meaning I do not receive a replacement item, I do not receive a refund for the item I purchased, and they will do nothing else to resolve the issue. And HA Pre-Loved keeps the money they made from the sale. I understand that the seller of the pre-loved item likely did their part in shipping the item, so they absolutely should get paid. But the idea that I'm out the money, the time, the effort to resolve the situation, all to be told that HA is choosing not to refund me is infuriating. It's terrible customer service and incredibly disappointing. Do not shop the Pre-Loved site.

Scam

I ordered something and I was using Apple Pay and so it picked up the wrong address so I immediately emailed and then also called them. I was told they couldn’t change the address even though I had immediately called which tells me they’re just a warehouse. I’ve blocked them.

Defective Item replaced

I was sent a product that was so adorable that I washed it right away so my son could wear it. Once it was on him i saw a defect in the color and a hole around the seam of the arm. I was pretty bummed but I thought I'd try customer service to see if I could get a replacement. They responded quickly AND sent me a free replacement WITH expedited shipping. So great!

Very upset about how they process…

Very upset about how they process returns. Accidentally didnt click 1 item and processed the return with out it. Now I have to pay an additional 7.50 just to return 1 item on the same order????? How slow and behind are you on a company that you cannot just go in and either fix that issue or let me put that item in the SAME box because its going to the SAME place.

Not only that but I cant do just that and put the items with the packing slip in the same box when I purchased multiple orders. Im still keeping 400$ of the products and now im getting penalized for it.

So now I have 4 boxes to ship and out 30 dollars on just shipping. Will not be buying here again since its not easy for me and my family

Horrible Customer Service

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 7 years, never had an issue, and for the first time, my package went missing. They flat-out told me they are responsible for the delivery, and the package said, "Delivery anything after that is not their problem." Disgusting customer service.

The unisex pajamas are WAY too tight in…

The unisex pajamas are WAY too tight in the legs. We bought matching pajamas and the men’s were ridiculous. My son and husband
Are 6’1 and 6’3

I was fine with inseam being 33 but the cut
On the legs were the laugh of the morning. I wasted a lot of money for them to be uncomfortable. Will not purchase again. The quality of the fabric was just OK. Very unhappy with purchase

I was extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Hanna Andersson.

My pajama set arrived straight out of the package with visible orange/yellow stains and appeared used, which is unacceptable for an item sold as new. I contacted customer service immediately and provided photos, expecting a replacement or refund.

Instead, customer service blamed me for the stains, despite the fact that they were present when I opened the package. Being accused of damaging an item I never wore or washed was frustrating and unprofessional.

Between the poor quality control and the way customer service handled the situation, I’ve lost trust in this brand. I would not recommend ordering if you expect clean, new products or supportive customer service when something goes wrong.

Update

Update: I finally got the package after I called UPS and updated the information. Had I not known that I could do this, I am not sure when the presents would have arrived. (The company never made the suggestion) The presents were well received. Though not on time. I updated the experience to 3.

SO far a one, though that could change. I placed an order, and when I received the confirmation, the information was incorrect. (My fault) I called immediately, within approximately 5 minutes of the order being placed. The first agent I spoke to was polite but couldn't help and transferred me to another agent. This agent said she could not change the address because the order was already being filled. She put me on hold to ask a supervisor and never came back. I called again, and this agent said hello and hung up. The next agent basically said there was nothing he could do because I had paid extra to have the ordered item shipped. Looking at the other reviews, this appears to be the norm. Once ordered, they do not help. The address I gave isn't even valid. Not sure where they will deliver. This is the first year I have ordered online, and the last. 2 of 3 orders have been problematic.
