Horrible customer service! The agent had to way to offer helping me with my problem! I used to love purchasing from Hanna Andersson but I will be taking my business elsewhere

Their return policy is a scam

Their return policy is a scam. They sent a defective item and will not refund it. They have tried requiring me to send the item back to them which requires a printer and then requires me go to a drop off location, and after that they said their policy only includes Hanna Anderson gift cards as a refund option, even though the first person who wrote me said they would refund it to original form of payment. It also says it will take 2-3 weeks or more after the item is received for them to issue a repayment. This was a $17 item from a $300 order which arrived badly stained from some sort of factory oil. Just a ridiculous company and I won't support them in the future, which is unfortunate because other than that item the clothes were decent.

Bestilt støvler, 1 nr str. End jeg plejer og de svarer nok til en str. 35 og bestilt i 38, de svarer ikke til billedet og så fandt jeg ud af at det kom fra Kina som ikke gør det bedre.

Terrible quality!

I was given some onesie PJ's from this company when my oldest was a baby and they seemed like good quality. So I decided to order some things for my girls for the summer. Two of the dresses I bought came apart the FIRST time I washed them (I have a top loading washer, no agitator)! One of them I need to spend money on to take to the tailor and repair because the hem came undone! The other one has visible pulls and loose threads. Here I was thinking I was spending a little more for some quality clothing; actually I spent more on worse quality! I emailed their customer service with a photo but got zero response. Never again.

Nonexistent Customer Service

If you order anything, pray that no issues happen during the shipping process. Placed my order one month ago (end of May) and the status still says “Label Created” for FedEx. It has been that way for 3 weeks.

I reached out to Customer Service and got no response. Tried again and got no response. So I went to my credit card provider and requested a refund from them which they quickly processed.

How does a seemingly reputable company have zero customer service and also take my money without delivering any product whatsoever? I will never be ordering from them again and urge everyone to reconsider.

Amazing company all around!

The best customer service experience I have had in a long time. I can not fathom any negative review being legit other than a hateful person...

Not only are the patterns absolutely adorable but the quality is top notch as well.
As for customer service they are unbeatable. I had ordered 2 sets for a baby shower weeks in advance. I noticed they had arrived to my local FedEx but had just been sitting there for over a week. Being that the shower was in 2 days I started to panic and contacted Hanna for advice. They were beyond accommodating and understood my worries so shipped out my order again for overnight shipping AT NO COST to me. That means they ate the cost off both the shipping and additional product just to help me out, this is the type of customer service you never see anymore.

I can't thank Hanna Andersson enough for their accommodations and I will now be a customer for life.

DON'T PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS...

Hanna Andersson will not fail at making you look horrible: not delivering on time, incorrect merchandise, wrong size, etc. My latest example was last week, but I should have remembered why I stopped ordering from them several years ago.
My latest (bad) experience was last week when I ordered matched pajamas for every family member of my son's in-laws and they still have not arrived. I paid a lot of money to make sure it arrived on time, with express shipping that guaranteed the pajamas would arrive on the 23rd.
Not only did they not arrive on time and I looked like a silly person for not sending them gifts (they did send us all lovely gifts) but I had to ask the in-laws to go to the UPS store, return the pajamas to Hanna Andersson, and resend other gifts to them after.
Needless to say, Hanna Andersson refused to reimburse/refund me for the express shipping cost...
This is not the first time I have had this kind of problem with them.
NOW I KNOW: THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER COMPANIES THAT HAVE GREAT SERVICE, WHY GIVE HANNA ANDERSSON MY BUSINESS?
NEVER AGAIN!

Hannah Anderson declining quality

Hannah Anderson used to be very high quality . Their clothes could be passed down more than once and still looked very nice. You paid more but it was totally worth it for the quality. This is no longer the case. Their fabrics are thinner and lower quality, For example their pajamas distend at the neck if stretched by a kid putting them on. This year some of their pajamas aren't even the usual long underwear material they are more like a thin cotton kind of like cheap cotton sheets. I was shocked when they arrived. But they've been going down have a long time.
I got a couple of bathing suits for my daughter last year. The tops were fine but the elastic in the bottoms was distended and baggy after a few wearings. Good thing you can still find old Hannah Anderson clothes at the goodwill which are beautiful and high quality. Again not hand-me-down quality, a sad decline

This is the first time I purchased from…

This is the first time I purchased from this site despite bad reviews. Well shame on me because my package never came. I even checked with the manager where the PO box is to make sure it didnt come and was misplaced. I contacted customer service and was told I would get a refund within 10-14 days. 2 weeks later no refund so I contacted the company back and their response was they would not be refunding me after further investigation. I then asked where is the proof of the delivery and further investigation and the customer service representative Katrina had no answer for me and ignored my question. From the beginning of the conversation she was rude. She didn’t even write full sentences. She used slang and abbreviations. Not someone I would want working for my company. Just overall a terrible experience with this company. Do not order from here. Shame on the owner of this company.

No price adjustments / poor customer service

Nothing great about their items and they will not honor price adjustments. Save your money and buy directly from other large stores that will value your business, stand behind their product, and respect you enough to return your money if you've overpaid. The customer service at this company is non-existent. They are super greedy, I won't be shopping here again!

No surprise that I now see here that they don't respond to negative reviews. I wish I had done my research before spending so much money on pajamas.

No price adjustments!

Terrible return policy and no price adjustments. I placed an order last week and two days after I placed an order, they have an increased reduction in price. It should be very well known that the company doesn't provide price adjustments to its own products. And the return process is detrimental to a consumer as well.

Order Never Came!!!

Order placed 10/12/22. Still have not received it. The website states it was shipped. Link to track order just says oops. I have never heard of this brand and was hesitant to order online but my son really wanted the Pokémon zip up sweatshirt. It was expensive for kid clothes and never came!!! We have a ring door bell and can ensure it was never delivered. I will never order from this retailer again. I recommend others don't either.

Terrible return policy

Terrible return policy. I ordered two pairs of Christmas pajamas for my grandsons and they arrived without incident. One pair was too large. I thought I could call and arrange an even exchange for a smaller size. No, that would be too simple. Not only did I have to pay shipping on the new pair (the first order, shipping was free), but they want to charge me a $5 return fee, which I believe is in addition to the $5 shipping fee. So to return a $30 pair of pajamas, I am having to pay $15 in fees. Then the Customer Service person on the phone tried to make me sound like I didn't want to pay their workers - "well, we have to pay the people in our return department to process the return, you know." Somehow, other companies have figured out how to do a simple exchange without these crazy fees. Be very careful when you order from Hanna Andersson! I won't be returning as a customer.

DO NOT BUY

My daughter loved the pajamas from here which are extremely expensive in my opinion. She has autism so I bought a few more pair because she'd wear them and loved them. Our basement flooded... and our washer and dryer are down there. I have 2 tops and 2 bottoms but dont have the missing part of the set from there. I called to ask if they could let me either purchase or replace the piece i needed. They refused becuase it wasn't the product that was defective and they cannot just split up a set. So now we are down 4 jammies because i dont know if anyone knows autism but a set is a set. cannot be mixed and matched. I am so angry i wasnt asking for free i was just asking NOT to spend another 120 dollars on pajamas when i just had to fix things from a flood. Super disappointed for the price.. i dont think its worth it to buy through them. we'll have to practice with a new brand. DO NOT BUY FROM HANNA ANDERSSON they are not all natural and the best quality nor do they have good customer service. They seem quite greedy. Telling me they dont replace for mold. Who said mold?! it was dirt and tar that came up and got into the clothes in the laundry room. just ridiculous.

The quality of their products have gone…

The quality of their products have gone down substantially. I bought the onsie short sleeve pajamas for my three-year-old and the crotch ripped out after only a few wearings. The company offered a new pair but was waiting for the item to become available. By the time it had, it was gone. Why doesn't customer service make note of what needs to be sent and ship it when it become available? Really poor customer service.

I love Hanna Anderson and have been a customer of theirs for a long time. I purchased clothes for my daughter when she was little and always loved the designs and quality of the clothes. I now purchase pajamas from them for myself. They are always so soft and comfortable and last a long time. I would highly recommend Hanna Anderson's clothes for the whole family.

Doesn’t present well as a gift

The two outfits that I bought for my niece’s baby are adorable. However the packaging is awful, since I want to give as a gift. There are no tags, or any mention that they were 100% cotton. They came in two little plastic bags. When I called customer service they said since the stores are closed they don’t put tags on their items anymore. I’m not sure I’m going to keep them because they don’t present well at all at a baby shower.

Disappointed and discouraged

I had a terrible experience in December 2019 with shipping and customer service. I decided to give it another try and placed an order and paid for expedited shipping on 5/9/2022. No order yet but a credit for shipping charges. I cannot get a straight answer from the help desk and the story keeps changing. It seems fairly easy to give a valid reason for a delay. With Hannah Anderson there is no reason given except sorry your orders late even though we accept your money for a service that is obviously not available. Very disappointed and discouraged. I cannot even get an address or email to file a formal complaint. Our birthday gift is now a week late and I guess oh well- hannah blew it again. Multiple emails with different help desk people that give different stories. It might be different if the prices were bargains, but paying unbelievable prices for such poor service is just not okay.
