Worst customer service ever!!!!
They sent me the wrong order and told me my order is out of stock. Asked me to wait for item return and place order. Now my matching is no longer matching. I asked to cancel my entire order since I didn’t receive the items. They promised to refund but no email sent, then told me I cannot cancel when I followed up. Every agents gave different statements. Wasted of my time holding on the line.
There are so many stores out there, don’t bother to order from them. Bring your business somewhere, If they don’t appreciate your business. They closed down their physical stores, I am sure the online stores won’t last long either.
Order never shipped
I placed an order 14 days ago. They created the shipping label and still haven't handed the parcel over to fedex. Their customer support claims they did, but fedex has not received or scanned the it into their system. Their customer support confirmed that Hanna Andersson has not handed it over to them. I am coming up on the three week mark. I will absolutely be filing a claim with my credit card company if it comes to it.
9/13/21 TERRIBLE, SHADY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
9/13/21. I am furious. I ordered a matching set of pajamas ( which is what HA markets)! They sent only half the order and THEN notified me they were out of one size. . I would obviously have changed or cancelled my order if I was not getting a matching set. Customer service is terrible and would only waive the 5 dollar return fee. The burden and hassle was on me for their poor business practice? It’s all very shady and clearly happens all the time. DONE WITH HANNAH ANDERSON!!! Mini Boden seems ethical and I’ll go there. that furious with this company that I have enjoyed for years. I feel robbed and exploited. It’s an unethical practice and they know it. It’s a hassle to return, especially with covid, they know that too. So freaking furious.
High Quality Fabrics
We have ordered from HA for several years, now, and we have not had any problems with their customer service. Very rarely, we will receive an item that is damaged or has a printing flaw, but they have always refunded us, right away, via their live chat. (Most items arrive in high quality, perfect condition.) They have a ton of organic cotton options, but many of their other fabrics are still STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® (even if not organic) for added safety. Love this brand!
HA reneged on their $15 discount offer!
Hanna Andersson offered a $15 discount on any purchase over $15 on PayPal. I clicked on that promotional link on PayPal to access the HA site. I made my purchase. No discount! Hanna said it was Paypal's promotion. PayPal said it was HA's promotion. But it makes sense that only HA would benefit from my purchase. FRAUD! I will never buy from them again.
Five stars over and over again!
I know some have had issues with refunds or shipping times, but we've not had any issues because we haven't returned anything and we don't mind the shipping times because the pajamas are completely worth it. These are the best pajamas we've ever purchased. It's been about four years since we started using this brand and the pajamas have went through three boys and many many washes and they still look pretty darn new. We've not purchased any other clothing from here, just pajamas, so my review is only on the pajamas. It's the only brand that one of our boys with struggles will wear so I'm grateful there's an adult line for him to eventually be in that I might purchase now just so I have them when he's a teenager in a few years. We are grateful for this company that a friend suggested to us. After so many bedtime clothing issues for us, these pajamas saved us some sanity. Five stars over and over again!
Borderfree failed to deliver to Australia, apparently my problem, not Hannas!
Attempted online shopping from Australia using Hanna Andersson's 'Borderfree' service. The details promised (ie, delivery ETA at checkout, tracking service) are not provided. After waiting weeks for our delivery, they finally said it was 'undeliverable' (no problems at my end) and had been returned to the US, but that they could not resend it. Items now sold out online in the sizes we wanted, so a very disappointed 5 year old girl. Customer service was slack to say the least. No explanations offered, just 'don't know', 'we can't' and inferred, 'too bad'. For a business that tries to present as a premium offering, it was very poor form. Try Polarn o Pyret instead - their customer service team go above and beyond for us!

What happened to your customer service agent? I called to customer service regarding of missing the package, and she kept asking my apt is safe to deliver. I answered if it would be safe if the carrier delivered to my door not leaving at lobby. Then she sighed and scolded to me " so are you saying it is safe or not!!!?!!!!!" I think this is so wrong.... Is she having bad issue in her personal life? I would not go back to this business to get my kids' clothes or more. Not doing right and deserved for kid business.

Never issues promised refund or followed up with me
I called on 4/7/21 in regard to a missing package/incorrect delivery and also reported to fedex. I was told my $100+ refund would appear within 2 weeks. It has been over two weeks and nobody from H.A has reached out to me or refunded my money as promised. As a first-time customer, I find your customer service concerning. I know it isn't your fault that fedex screwed up the delivery but I already spent about 40 minutes on the phone delivery day reporting the issue, speaking with my neighbors and driving up and down my street to look for it, and now I have to spend more time following up because you won't refund as promised.
The Worst Customer Service Ever!
I can only reiterate what others have said before me...THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE. If I could give 0 Stars, I would. Buying or returning from Hanna Andersson is not worth the stress. There are so many other stores worthy of my support and yours. This Grandma is spending her money elsewhere!

We have enjoyed the products for our kids but the customer service is very poor. We received some gifts during the Christmas holidays and wanted to exchange the items for other items since we already have the items but they refused to accept a return because it was over 60 days. Also, the nearest store has been closed for most of COVID so we haven’t been able to exchange for other items during the 60 day window. Overall, nice products but horrible customer service!!
Pics are not accurate representations
I’ve never had to deal with customer service, so I have no opinion in that regard. Also, usually I’m very happy with the quality and fit of the clothes. However, I recently ordered the Slim Sweatshorts in French Terry and I was really disappointed to see that they are not even close to slim fitting. The pictures are not representative of the actual fit of the shorts and I thought that was weird.

If I could give no stars I would. I received pajamas that were defective and I called the company to see if they would send me a replacement or something and they want me to refund and now purchase these at full price when I bought them on sale. I’ve been buying since the summer and I’m just not going to anymore. They were rude and not understanding. I can’t say enough do not buy. Spend your money elsewhere. Please!
Horrendous customer service
Worst customer service experience I've had in some time. I recently received a baby gift from friends after I finally felt comfortable to travel to my hometown after many months in lockdown due to Covid-19. The clothing was too small for my son. HA has closed all of its brick-and-mortar stores, so online returns are the only option.
I called and was told that my gift was purchased on 11/29. I had missed the 60-day window by 2 days. (Meanwhile, they extended returns on all purchases between 11/1 and 11/26 to 90 days, for the holidays.) I politely pleaded with the rep for an exception due to the circumstances: I did not receive the gift for an extended period due to Covid restrictions, I missed the 90-day holiday return window by 3 days (also, isn't 11/29 still 'holiday' shopping time?), and I missed the 60-day window by 2 days because I did not know the exact date of the purchase, nor did I think it polite to ask the gifters.
The rep told me twice that they make no exceptions to the policy. She stated again, "Your gift is non-refundable." I told her I was disappointed and would not be shopping at Hanna Andersson anymore and while I was in mid-sentence she actually hung up on me.
I wasn't able to say it on the phone but I'll say it here: Won't be shopping there in the future! Too many other kids' options with cute clothes, sensible policies and compassionate customer service.
beware ordering online -- terrible return policies
Their return policies are absurd and unfair. I had to go through all kinds of ridiculous steps to even get to the point of generating a return slip, and then in the end they charged me over $30 to return a $40 pair of pyjamas. That was my experience trying to return something from Canada. I will never buy from this company again.
Edit: I requested a refund of the shipping charges, which they gave me.
Deceptive reviews
I love the quality of HA clothes- but something that really bugs me and that I find deceptive is after I placed an order they asked me to write why I chose each item... I said on one “it looks soft and comfortable” then that showed up as a REVIEW of the item. It was not a review, it was simply the reason I chose that item. That to me is very deceptive. So beware if you are shopping their site- the “reviews” are not accurate.

Same story as everybody else. I only got 3 out of 11 items, no reply from my email, so I called Support, just to be told that they don´t handle int. shipment complains and can´t do anything! I have cancel my credit card payment.
Customer Service is terrible
Placed a large order of Matching family PJ's for 14 people. Received 90% of the order but was missing 8 items. Called and spoke with Hellen in customer service she looked and saw the 3rd box never shipped. Although Thanksgiving was a bit of a bust with matching PJ's we typically use them on Christmas morning as well so I asked if they could send the missing items. I was told no they are out of stock. I had already placed another order and it arrived 10 days later. She then said it would take 6-8 weeks to get a refund and she would let the "team" know. I called back a week later knowing Hellen didn't seem to know what she was doing. I spoke with Jada who was very lovely and seemed to be helpful. She said I should see the money within the next couple weeks. A month later still no refund. Called again for the 3rd time and spoke with Sofie, still waiting on a refund. Sofie confirmed it said I was to be issued a refund for 8 items. Love their products but this was a disaster. We order all the time but have never needed customer service.
Terrible customer service!!
Terrible customer service!!! Got some items for christmas for my daughter and they wont let me exchange for a bigger size. They said well you cab just place an order for the bigger size and pay again. They are expensive and treat their customers terrible!!!! Telling others to not shop there ever again.
