Just experienced the most appalling…

Just experienced the most appalling customer service ever. If you want to be totally ignored just go to the Hannah store in Napier. Three retail assistance behind the counter not one looked up or said anything we were in there for 10 minutes ended up walking out. There were four or five other customers in the shop as well but nobody was experiencing any Customer Service in fact it’s not existent.

They keep changing names

They keep changing names - smithspicks and now rebranding to hanachoice - hands down worst shoes I’ve ever ordered, took forever to arrive, so uncomfortable, can’t wear, glue showing, poor quality, and they refuse to accept returns - poor quality - not orthopedic or as described - company refuses to accept a return

Bad quality products/ bad faith

Some time ago I bought dozens of pairs of jandals for crafts, I didn't open all the packages to check if there were problems as the first pair was good and I didn't expect to have problems with this type of product as they are simple and thought the store had checked before sending. Unfortunately, most of the white colored jandals were old products of low quality and with material peeling and falling apart. I had problems making the return because as I worked on the pairs slowly and due to the craft covering the slipper strap, I delayed any attempt to return the pairs - the store did not have the same faith and understanding. However, I started to receive complaints about quality and problems and when I tried to return the products I was told that they could not accept them as they were not as new (some pairs were but would not pay the petrol to go to the store to be examined). I guarantee they knew about the quality when they dumped this trash in the mail for me and I believe they would perhaps try to push the junk to another customer.

A shame. Be careful with this store because they sell rubbish like clearance, old and defective parts. I once bought a pair of Chelsea boots and after the first rain these boots started making a squeaky noise and never stopped. Defective products, problematic batches.

Here is a letter that I Tony Burke…

Here is a letter that I Tony Burke (North Island Regional Manager of Hannahs), shown below...

A woman called Gina replied and offered me $50, when the shoe was brand new and still in the box.

The shoe cost $140.

I rang her, for two weeks and she was never there.

The ID marks on the box and on the shoe verify that the shoes come from Hannahs according Hannhas who I rang.

I had asked for a replacement of the shoes, -but she said taht they didn't have the shoe.

I told her that it could be a replacement of the any shoe to the same value.

Gina is now threatening me, because I won't take $50 for a pair of shoes that I spent $140 for, and then she accuses me of
harrassment, because she has kept asking me to ring her back and she wasn't there.

I enclose the letter where she threatens me, and also the letter to Tony Burke, shown below...

She told me to ring her, and when I rang her and couldn't get hold of her she accuses me of harassment, even thought she told me to ring her in the first instance.

This is how bad their shop, and Public Relations is.

I tried to return shoes that I had purchased.

They had never been used and they still have their tags on.

The shop in Manners street had closed down, so I got fed up with the whole thing.

I was told that I couldn't return them to another store.

I just became frustrated with the whole ordeal, and so I just put them away and forgot about them, because of the runaround and misinformation that I was given.

I feel that you should make a goodwill gesture of a small payment, or at least an exchange.

I have already tried to sort this matter out with Michelle and Gina, and they refuse to help me.

This is the final correspondence that will be entered into with you. My team has been instructed to not engage with you as you are harassing my team and the company.

The facts as they stand:
You have no proof of purchase for the shoes.
The returns period for shoes is 60 days - it has been many years since you purchased the shoes, and you are demanding a refund of which you have no proof of purchase for.
Despite not having proof of purchase and your claim being many years past our returns period, as a gesture of goodwill despite it not being a requirement at all, we offered you a $50 good will voucher, and you have declined this on several occasions.
You claim to have rung my cellphone - this is categorically untrue. I have attempted more than 10 times to resolve this issue with you and you have continued to harass our business and team.
I have offered on multiple occasions to call you and you have stated 'I don't have a phone' - yet you continue to harass us via the phone.

IMPORTANT: If you continue to harass our company or staff via phone or email, this matter, along with all phone recordings and email interactions, will be handed over to the authorities to deal with.

NO FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE WILL BE ENTERED INTO.

I am sitting down in the store right…

I am sitting down in the store right now. Been in here 10 minutes and am the only customer. Assistant has not made eye contact or spoken to me. Took down a shoe I wanted to try. Held it and looked at her. She glanced up and then started polishing shelves. Still no response from her. Going to ask now but totally no customer service at this point. Guess I will go elsewhere as she has now gone out the back.

$149 RRP shoes lasted two months

I paid $100 for what should have been quality leather shoes. They lasted my slight-built teenager two months.

I called and emailed over six weeks and still have not had a resolution from them. They claimed to have sent a return courier bag for the faulty product but it never arrived. They said again that one had been sent and confirmed my address, but nothing showed up. They then stopped responding to emails.

After a week with no response (again) I posted on their Facebook page. They deleted my post and comments, which were just a statement of facts. I can only assume they delete most/all negative feedback on their Facebook page.

Would never, ever buy from them again.
