Dealing with Hannah solicitors was a very professional and straightforward experience. Purchasing a home can be stressful but I felt both solicitors were on the ball. Tamara was the main solicitor dealing with my purchase and also my remortgage. She is very knowledgable of the conveyancing process and extremely patient in her approach. Things always happen during a purchase and it’s good to know your solicitor will always call you back promptly, not make excuses, give you the insight you need and show patience with your understanding. I felt Tamara was outstanding in her communication and would 1) Certainly recommend to anyone else purchasing a home and 2) Will use her again for my future purchases.

We instructed this firm to handle the sale of our house, and over a year later, it’s still unresolved. The level of incompetence we've experienced is genuinely astonishing. We’ve had to chase them constantly for updates, explanations, and even the most basic communication.

They routinely miss deadlines — including critical ones like property searches (twice) and mortgage offers expiring — and they fail to show any understanding of where the process is at and how we can reach a completion. It honestly feels like no one there knows what they’re doing, or worse, they simply don’t care.

We’ve been left completely in the dark for months at a time. You’d get more progress talking to a brick wall. They are not proactive, they show no urgency, and in our view, they should not be entrusted with anyone’s legal affairs. They are simply not fit for purpose.

Even more concerning, after reading some of the glowing reviews online, we genuinely question their authenticity. Based on our experience, it’s hard to believe anyone has received decent service from this firm.

If you’re even thinking about using them — don’t. Save yourself the months of stress, delays, and total frustration. This firm has been an absolute disaster from day one, and it still isn’t over.

Avoid them like the plague.

Tamara and Toqeer both handled my case and ensured that I was well protected in the sale, literally fighting my corner.

As a first-time buyer it is hard not to want daily updates, but overtime it became evident that everything was in hand and even more than I realised.

Avoid! Not a direct client but they are my buyers firm , delays after delays, non responsive don’t seem to care about completion dates. Hegartys have now removed these from there recommendation list due to time scales . Terrible experience
