Excellent service…
I have recently used Hausmaids for the first time and was delighted with the exceptional service that was provided by two very polite and friendly young women. I have a large house that has needed a deep clean since we moved in in March and they did a very thorough top to bottom clean with great attention to detail. The three showers were gleaming inside and out, stubborn limescale was removed, bins were emptied and even my compost caddy was spotless! I wish I could afford to have them every month!

I recently hired Hausmaids Cheltenham, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, it was completely stress-free. The admin team was incredibly friendly and easy to work with, taking the time to understand my specific needs and tailoring the service accordingly. They were quick to respond to any questions and made booking simple.
The cleaning team was wonderful—arriving on time, friendly, and thorough. They paid attention to every detail and made sure everything was just the way I wanted. It felt great knowing they were happy to adjust to my preferences.

I paid £192 for an initial clean and was told the two cleaners who were attending would not leave my property until the house was clean. I expected the clean to last around 3-4 hours. I returned back home 2 and a half hours later and the cleaners had left. Clearly the work was rushed.
The cleaners failed to clean the shutters downstairs, the windowsills downstairs and didn’t clean widow sills in my kitchen. In fact they didn’t even empty the bins!!!!
They left out so much more upstairs. This was the worst clean I’ve ever had. Most disappointed clean. The response I got back from the office was worse.
A very unhappy customer I don’t want any other cleans. Stay away!

Thank you for your feedback. While we are sorry you were unhappy with the service, we feel it is important to provide some clarification.
At Haus Maids, we pride ourselves on delivering high standards and resolving any concerns our clients may have. In cases where a client is not entirely satisfied, we always offer to return and address any missed areas, something we’ve successfully done for thousands of clients over the past 13 years. Unfortunately, on this occasion, we were unable to offer this due to the conduct you displayed toward our office team and the derogatory language used to describe our team members who cleaned your home.
We take the well-being of our team very seriously and cannot place them in an environment where they feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Verbal harassment of any kind is something we will not tolerate.
As a gesture of goodwill, we offered and processed a 50% refund, which you initially accepted. When you later requested a 75% refund, we declined, as we believed our initial resolution was fair and reasonable.
We have built our reputation over more than a decade by maintaining high standards of service and treating both clients and employees with respect. While we regret this outcome, we remain committed to these principles.
Very Disappointing and Rushed
Had a deep clean before beginning a regular cleaning service, which was pretty good, company seemed efficient and first set of cleaners did a good job (only reason I’m not giving a one star).
First bi-weekly clean of large 4 bed house was agreed it would be a roughly 3/4 hours for two people, costing £160. Cleaners took just 1.5 hours (I was home yet the company tried to argue the clean took longer) - what an extortionate hourly rate. Left the house dirty and attempted to offer just a 10% discount. Did not stick to their satisfaction guarantee of re-cleaning as cleaners ‘on holiday’. If the job is not done, there should not be a charge. Mistakes happen with cleaning and in such cases you either re-clean or you don’t charge.
This company clearly have decent cleaners, who are pressurised into rushing the job to make as much money as possible by cleaning as many houses as they can. Not a problem if the job is rapid, if you do the job…when you don’t finish and never come back, you cannot expect to take money from customers and pretend you offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. You don’t.

A weight lifted
I have always struggled with house work. A year ago my mother passed away rather unexpectedly and since then I have been dealing with the fall out of that. To say I feel a weight lifted from my shoulders because of the wonderful work the ladies did would be an understatement. They worked so hard and diligently for many hours, just quietly getting on with the job at hand without judgement.

Excellent job!
The two ladies were right on time and got to work very promptly. They were offered tea or coffee but politely refused and got on with a very thorough job of cleaning and dusting every room in the house from top to bottom.
We were particularly impressed by the stair handrails which we didn't realise were quite so grubby!
Also we have a dog and the house definitely smells fresher.

Rushed work
Very disappointed. They started off well, but slowly drifted from picking things up to dust properly to just dusting around things in a few weeks. They are expensive but the focus seems to be speed rather than doing a thorough job.

Called two of the local offices multiples times, no answer. left messages, no response.
If you are running a business isn't it important to occasionally answer the phone to prospective customers ?
Now looking for alternative cleaners, guess we dodged a bullet looking at the reviews.

Waste of money
Very disappointed that there has been no further contact from Haus Maids after I supplied the information requested and my updated review below.
Following the review below i was asked for additional information which I supplied but there has been no acknowledgement or further contact
Very disappointed with the service. I paid for a deep clean and ended up cleaning the house myself as they missed major areas such as hoovering under the beds and sofas. Dusting doorframe, top of doors and a lot of the skirting boards. There is more but I don't think I need to list everything.

God knows how this company get any…
God knows how this company get any business, must have called this company about 15 times, never answer the phone. I even stopped 2 Haus cleaners that were cleaning the neighbours house and gave my details to them for someone to call me, really suprised no one called me back. Shocking service, so quite thankful we've not been able to hire them if this is how they treat clients or even potential clients.

Haus Maids have been great!
Haus Maids have been great so far. They were easy to get in touch with, well organised, reasonably priced and flexible. The cleaning team that came out were great: efficient, thorough and friendly. I am looking forward to my regular monthly cleans, I think they will really help me stay on top of things at work and at home.
